𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐄 girl woke up the day after, Chad, Mindy, Amber and Liv were sitting next to her bed, waiting for her to wake up.
Chad was the first one to noticed that the blond was awaking and a large smile made it's way onto the boys face, "Heyy-Lizzie"
He immediately straightened up in his seat and Lizzie gave him a small smile, even if she wasn't feeling like smiling at all. "Hey."
Amber was now the one who spoke, she was standing by the end of the bed, her arms crossed over her chest, "How are you feeling, Lizzie?"
The blond looked at her, no muscle flinching in her face, "They gave me good pain killers. So there's that-" She definitely didn't seem like she was, but deep down the girl was thankful that all her friends were there.
Liv gave her a sympathetic look, "Liz- I'm so sorry about what happened to Wes. I can't imagine -"
Lizzie immediately shook her head while her eyes started watering once more, "—No, you really can't."
That came out harsher as she wanted to and the pink haired girl seemed taken back by her words. But she didn't say anything else and just sat back in her chair.
Lizzie sighed, not standig the awkward silence that laid in the room because no one wanted to address what had happened and she honestly didn't want them too.
"They're going to discharge me today-", the blond then told them calmly, not wanting to show the emotional pain she was currently in.
She let her gaze wander around the room and noticed the faces of the other's in the room, they were filled with sadness and pity.
The anger built up inside Lizzie, she didn't want their pity, she wanted the person responsible for her family's death dead.
Suddenly the doors opened and to Lizzie's surprised no other than Gale Weather's entered the room, followed by a brunette woman, Lizzie didn't knew.
"Gale?"
Everyone in the room stared at her questioningly, before the dark haired woman went and hugged Lizzie as carefully as she could. "I came as soon as I heard. I'm so sorry—Elizabeth."
The girl nodded her head at her Godmother, before Gale stepped aside and pointed at the brunette woman besides her. "That's Sidney Prescott."
The woman gave a small wave, "Hey."
"Hi" Lizzie answered friendly before she gave the woman a questioning look, "No offense but why is Sydney Prescott here?"
"Dewey— he— he was killed." Gale answered the blond while she gave her a sad look. Lizzie felt how the colour drained from her face once more, Dewey had been a great friend of her mum's. And now they were both dead. Just gone.
Lizzie immediately placed her hand onto Gales, giving it a squeeze, "I'm so sorry, Gale."
The woman gave her a small nodd before Mindy jumped into the conversation, "Just to let you know Liz, Tara was also attacked, again."
Gale nodded before she spoke, "Dewey died, saving her." Lizzie's eyes widened, "Oh God." She realized that she was giving Gale the same look, the other's gave her a minute ago.
The blond then glanced at Mindy, "Again?" Mindy shrugged at her, "Yeah, it was right after your family was attacked. And now Sam wants to disappear for good, only this time— with Tara."
"Jesus, what? I was out for half a day-"
she stopped in the middle of her scentence before she gazed over at Gale, "We can't let her leave with Tara."
Suddenly Sidney stepped in, "We have no intention of letting them leave town. Running was never a good option. He's always going to come after them."
Lizzie tried to relax while she leaned back in her seat, "So what are we going to do about it?"
"Okay, I've got to go now", Liv announced awkwardly before she slowly got up from her seat, grabbing her purse. She quickly planted a kiss on Chad's lips before she gave Liz a smile, "Get better, okay?"
The blond nodded at her before Amber also got up from her seat, "I'm gonna find Tara, before her sister draggs her out of town forever."
They all looked after her while she stormed out of the room, and Mindy was the next one to excuse herself, followed by Sidney who had toake a important call.
But Gale and Chad stayed with her and at some point the realization that she had no one left finally sunk in fully and the girl was trying to contain her sobbing, while she was crawled up into a ball.
She didn't knew what was going to happen to her after that, but right now all she could think about was that she had no one of her family left.
Chad was tracing circles into the back of her hand while the blond sobbed, "Everyone is dead. —I have no one left."
Gale immediately frowned at her, "That's not true—- You have me. You're mother didn't make me your Godmother without reason, Elizabeth."
Lizzie gave her a thankful nodd, thinking back to the stories her mother had told her about herself and Gale, absolutely hating each other. But after time, what must've been 5 years or so, Judie and Gale had realized that they weren't that bad and a friendship had bloomed between them.
Lizzie closed her eyes, trying to forget everything that was happening around her while drifting off into a deep dreamless sleep due to her exhaustion.
When she awoke a couple of long hours later, Chad was still there. The blond blinked a few times before she slowly straightened up. "Hey."
The boy gave her a smile, "Hey."
Lizzie had a questioning look, when she saw the empty seat where Gale had sat earlier, "Where's Gale?"
"She went to get herself something to eat", the boy answered her while he pointing at the door. Lizzie nodded before she continued, "And what are you doing here?" Her eyebrows were raised at him.
Chad remained silent but after a small moment he answered her, "I was worried about you."
Lizzie gave him an honored look, "Aww, I feel so loved right now. Thank you."
Chad let out an amused chuckle, "Yeah, now don't think that you're all that." The two exchanged a smirk before they fell silent again.
"I'm glad that you're okay", the boy then said while he carefully grabbed her hand, that was resting besides her body.
The blond's heart started beating heavily in her chest while Chad's hand wrapped around her own.
Their eyes met and Chad began to draw circles into the back of her hand. For a moment it seemed like he was about to say something, but he was interrupted by Gale who entered the room.
The two teenagers immediately flinched back from one another and Gale seemed like she hadn't even noticed what she had just disturbed when she sat down in her seat.
After that Chad excused himself and Gale informed Lizzie that she was finally being discharged.
Only half an hour later, the blond was accompanied by Sidney and Gale down towards the lobby of the hospital.
"You're going to stay with me for a while", the dark haired woman told the blond teenager, who nodded at her thankfully.
Gale then continued, placing a hand on Lizzie's shoulder, "We're going to worry about everything else after we found the killer."
The blond grabbed Gale's hand and gave it a squeeze before she spoke, "I want him gone, Gale. "The woman nodded in agreement, "He will be."
"That's her?", Sidney suddenly interrupted their conversation, nodding at Sam, Tara and Richie, who were crossing through the lobby.
"Yeah."
Sidney approached the young woman, who pushed her sister's wheelchair, "Samantha?"
The group of three stopped walking, "It's Sam."
"I'm -"
"I know who you are."
Sidney gave Tara a small smile, "I hope you're okay." Tara smiled back at her and nodded.
"Listen, I'm sorry-" Sidney interrupted the young woman, "You're Billy's daughter."
Richie quickly excused himself from the situation, "I'll bring the car around."
Sam ignored him while she sighed deeply, "Yeah, I'm his daughter. I'm sorry if that's weird for you."
Sidney just shook her head slightly, "No, no, it's - I've been through this a lot - do you wanna talk?"
"I appreciate it- and I'm- really sorry about Dewey. But I'm taking my sister away from all this." Sam gave them one last look before she exit the hospital.
Sidney, Gale and Lizzie followed after her quickly, Sidney at the front of the group. "I tried running too. It doesn't work, it always follows."
Sam didn't turn to face her or stop, she continued waking, "All due respect, that's your life, not mine."
"I'm not so sure about that." Sidney gave her a sceptical glance. Sam suddenly stopped and spun around to her, clearly annoyed, "What do you want from me, lady?"
"Hey! Watch your tone, new girl! You know how they say it always goes back to the original? Here's the original", Gale immediately snapped back at the dark haired girl.
"I want your help- Because you're wrong, this is your life now, which means whoever this is will keep coming for you", Sidney then continued to try and talk some sense into Sam, but the young woman shrugged. "So?"
Sidney gave her a questioning look, "So— I want you to help us kill him."
Sam still seemed pretty sceptical about all of this, "You want me to help you and the host of a morning show commit murder?"
The two adults nodded in confirmation, "Correct."
"Yeah."
Sam had a deep frown on her face, "And I'm what in this scenario? The bait? The helpless victim?"
Gale gave her a judging look, "If the shoe fits—'' Sid gave her a pointed look before she addressed the woman in her opposite, "You're not helpless, Sam. He killed your friend, he killed ours. Shit, he killed Elizabeth's family! And I have kids, which means I won't sleep until he's in the ground."
Sam didn't seem convinced by her arguments, "Look, I'm sorry about what this has done to your lives, but no matter what you or the killer or anyone says, this isn't my story."
"All right! Let's get the fuck out of town, huh!", Richie exclaimed while he pulled up in the car and honked a few times.
Sam gave them a apologizing look, "Sorry. That's my boyfriend, Richie."
Richie gave them an awkward wave, "Nice to meet- we met. Sam, please get in the car so we never have to see this people again."
"Sam-", Sidney tried it one last time. "No, we're leaving. That's the only way I can protect Tara", Sam insisted stubborn while she interrupted the brunette and Sidney gave her a defeated look.
"Okay, good luck."
"You too." Sam then gave Lizzie one last glance before she got into the car and as soon as the woman had closed the door behind her, Richie drove off.
"Well, that went fucking horribly." Gale shot her old friend a judging look. "Don't worry. I have a plan", Sidney immediately assure her before she glanced at Lizzie, while pulling out her phone. "She seems really tough."
Lizzie nodded her head, "She is." Gale was still not finished with arguing, "Honestly, who gives a shit? Sid, you said it yourself, he's gonna go after her-"
"I put a tracker on her car", Sidney then interrupted the woman, who seemed taken back by her words. "You did what?"
The brunette gave her a smile, "It seemed like something Gale Weathers would do."
Gale nodded slight, seeming quiet impressed, "Take that as a compliment."
Lizzie chuckled quietly to herself before she followed with Gale after Sidney.
𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 down the neverending abandoned street, towards the location where Sam's car was currently located.
They were surrounded by complete darkness, only the light of the car spending some vision for them when Gale spoke up, "If I hadn't written that book about your mother, none of this would've happened."
Sidney gave her a pointed look, "Gale-"
"I started all of this", the dark haired woman went on while her eyes started watering up.
Sidney now gave her a soft glance, "No, you didn't. Billy Loomis started this and we're gonna end it. After tonight, no more books, no more movies, no more fucking Ghostface."
The brunette's gaze fell down onto her phone screen. "They stopped", Sidney suddenly informed them.
"Gas station?" The brunette shook her head, before her eyes widened, "No -oh shit"
Lizzie sat up in her seat, very curious to what had shocked the woman so much, "What?"
Sidney showed Gale the phone and the woman's eyes widened as well before Sidney showed the phone to Liz. The blond didn't understand but Gale seemed shocked, "Oh shit- how far are we?"
"Too far", the brunette answered her, before she typed a number into her phone. After a few seconds she spoke up, "You need to get out of that house right now."
Sidney's voice made clear that she had to hurry, "You're in Stu Macher's house, where your dad and Stu killed everyone. Someone planned to get you there. You need to get the fuck out, Sam!"
The call ended and Gale immediately sped up the car, rushing down the empty street until they had finally reached the house.
As soon as they had gotten out of the car, they heard a loud scream coming from inside. Lizzie felt the goosebumps erupting all over her body.
"Sounds about right."
Sidney glanced at the other two, "You're ready?" Gale shook her head, "For this? Never." Her gaze went back towards the house, "Here we go."
Suddenly the front door flew open and Amber came rushing out, onto the large front porch.
The dark haired teenage girl pressed her hand onto her abdomen while screaming out in pain. "Help me! Help me! He stabbed me!"
She held onto one of the pillars of the house while she cried out and Sidney and Gale exchange a sceptical look, while Lizzie's eyes widened in shock.
Her first instinct was to help her close friend, but instead she remained standing where she was. Her look was questioning, "What do you think?" Gale shook her head, her face sceptical, "Trap."
As soon as Amber realized that they weren't buying her act, she quickly pulled out a gun. "Fuck it!"
The girl pulled the trigger and shot Gale into the stomach without any sign of hesitation. Elizabeth flimched while she tried to search for something to hide behind.
Sidney immediately pulled out her gun and shot back at Amber, but she missed and the girl quickly closed the door behind her, vanishing.
Lizzie immediately went onto her knees and grabbed onto Gales arm, "Oh God— Gale!"
"Let me see!", Sidney quickly took a look at the wound. "Oh, you gotta go to the hospital." Gale immediately shook her head, "No. You said we were gonna finish this. Go finish it, Sidney!"
The brunette woman wanted to argue with her, "Gale." But Gale gave her a pleading look, before she whispered, "For Dewey."
Lizzie caught Sidney's eye, "I'll stay with her." Sidney nodded before she stood up and gazed towards the house.
A long moment passed by before the brunette quickly made her way inside, the gun still in her hand.
Lizzie held Gale's hand while she watched the closed door closely. A long moment later there were a couple of different screams coming from inside and Lizzie's had a bad feeling, about still being in the front yard.
"We really shouldn't be out here. We're sitting ducks, Gale", the blond whispered to her Godmother, who was grunting in pain.
"Yeah, you're right", she in and exhaled heavily before she slowly got onto her knees, grunting in pain.
Lizzie quickly helped her up onto her feet, assisting Gale while walking towards the car.
As soon as the blond girl took a step towards the car, the front door of the house suddenly flew open and Amber stepped outside.
The gun still in her hand, only this time she was dressed in the ghost face costume. The dark haired girl pointed the gun at them, "What do you think you're doing?"
The blond and Gale immediately spun around to her, with wide eyes. Amber approached them, before she motioned for them towards the house, "Get inside. Now!"
Lizzie wanted to help Gale walk up the stairs, but Amber narrowed her eyes at her, "She can walk alone. Put your hands where I can see them, bitch."
"Bitch", Lizzie mumbled to herself while she gave Amber a spiteful glare.
She then slowly held her hands up into the air and made her way into the old Macher house.
