REVEAL NIGHT!

W

elcome to another Reveal Night. We are about to reveal the true identities of the Evicted Five out of our Top Ten Contestants. Are you ready to meet them?

Let's get to it!

Penname: Faywrites.
Wattpad username: Nakhie_writes
Serial Number: 023.

M: Heyyyyyy.

C: Hello!

M: You were evicted from the project pen house and I was asked to interview you. Are you up for it?

C: Yes.

M: All right. Good evening.

C: Good evening.

Q: How are you doing today?

C: I am good and you?

Q: I'm all right. So, tell us your real name, in full. Your pen name, serial number, and Wattpad username.

C: Ok. My name is Bernard Favour. My pen name is Faywrites with serial number 023 and my wattpad username is Nakhie_writes.

M: Niceee. I'll call you Favour.

C: Okay.

Q: So, Favor, tell us something about yourself. Like, what don't we don't about you that's not-so-secret?

C: Wow, this is hard o.πŸ˜‚

M: 😹😹 You can just share any of your other hobbies.😹

C: Ok. I can sing.

M: Niceee. I sing too. 🌚 What kinda songs do you sing? And is it also as much of a passion as writing is to you?

C: I can sing any song as long as I like it and it resonates with me, I even sing classical music sometimes. I like music but I've never had the time to take lessons.

M: Awww. That's so cool.✨

C: Thank you.

Q: Welcome.✨ Okayy, Favour, how old are you?

C: I'm 22 years old.

M: For real?πŸ‘€πŸ‘€ See me thinking you were still a teenager.😭😭😹

C: πŸ˜‚ What can I say? Sometimes I wish I were younger too.

M: Don't we all?😹 I do miss my childhood.🀧

C: Glad I'm not the only one.

Q: Yeahhh. Anyway, I wanna ask, what urged you to join project pen?

C: I guess I wanted to try something different and to also test myself.

Q: That's nicee. How was the experience?

C: I loved it! It was enlightening, I learnt a lot. Now, I know I'm not a bad writer and I can quit doubting myself so much.

Q: That's amazinnnggggg. I'm glad you're more confident. So, you made it to the top ten contestants! How did that make you feel?

C: I feel good. I made it to top ten! If someone told me at the beginning of the competition that I'd make it this far, I wouldn't have believed it. I'm grateful.

M: I'm happy for you too!πŸ«‚

C: Thank you.πŸ«‚

Q: What's one thing you learned while you were still a contestant, that you know you'll forever remember?

C: Punctuations! I didn't really pay attention to it before but now I know that it is very important.

Q: Okayyy. Very valid lesson! How did leaving the house make you feel?

C: Mixed feelings. It was nice being a part of the competition and I'd have loved to move to the next stage but I also feel that those who progressed deserved it. So it's all good.

Q: It's a win-win.🌚😌🀝🏽 I feel ya. What do you think made you get evicted and how do you plan to improve?

C: Hmm. I think I lacked a bit in the theme execution, especially in my first entry and I guess that my stories didn't really portray Nigeria. I've learnt and plan to make thorough research for my present and future projects.

Q: That's really cool. I'm glad you'd like to improve.❀️ What was your last moment in the house?

C: I wished the top five good luck and said my goodbyes.

Q: All right. Is there anyone you would like to give a shout-out to?

C: I'll like to give a shout-out to everyone who participated in this competition. You are all talented. To the *top five*, well-done guys, and good luck.

M: Awww. I'm sure your ex-housemates will be glad to see this. Finally, please tell us your last words.

C: I don't have much to say, but I'm wishing everyone favour and success in every aspect of life.

M: All right. Thank you so much for taking this interview! Project pen wishes you all the best!

C: Thank you!

M: You're welcome.😌✨

Such an emotional moment. We'll miss you and your amazing story telling skills, Fay. Project Pen Fans, let's engage her page. She deserves it❀️πŸ”₯.

Penname: CY.
Wattpad username: Rea186
Serial No: 027.

M: Yooooo.

C: Hey, how far?

M: I'm good. How are you?

C: I am great.

M: Okayy. Good. How was your day?

C: My day was great, thanks to God.

Q: Okayy. So, tell us your real name?

C: Ebruba Recy Ajamikoko.

M: Nicee. Recy. I like your name.πŸ₯²What's it mean?

C: Hmm. This question... It doesn't have a meaning that I know of sha, but I gave it one, "God inspired".

M: Oh wow. That's nice.

C: Please give the name to your child so when I die, the name will not go extinct.

M: I already gave it to one of my characters.🌚😹

C: Yayyiiiii. You are cherished.

Q:😌✨ Next question; tell us a not-so-secret thing that we don't know about you.🌚

C: A not-so-secret. Hmm...about me? I don't know o. I love acting dramas.

Q: Okayy.✨ Let's know your penname, serial number and Wattpad username.

C: Pen Name is CY. Serial no: 027 Username: @Rea186

Q: How old are you, Recy?🌚

C: 16.

Q: 16, okayy.🌚 Why did you join project pen?

C: At first, I wasn't sure, just wanted to see how it was like and rate my writing skills. In other words, I just wanted to test myself.

Q: Okayyy. So, how was the overall experience?

C: Hmm...It was CRAZYY! Like, the suspense, the sleepless lights. I even cried while writing my Cliffhanger story. I was so tired but I just had to finish it. Reading people's works made me feel a bit insecure of mine but that's OK. Being frank here, never thought I will make it to Top Ten. God is good. Overall, it was a training experience for me. I never knew how deep writing was till now.

M: Awwww. This is so touching.πŸ₯ΊπŸ€§ Wawu. So, I'm guessing being in the top ten made you more confident?

C: Exactly, so confident that I started my first normal novel on wattpad.

M: Oh wowwww.πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

C: Please, don't make me blush.πŸ˜…

Q: 😹😹😹❀️ What's one thing you learned while you were still a contestant?

C: I learned a lot. I actually noticed that when I try to impress too much in writing, I end up not impressing. Always sceptical of what goes here and there. My vocabulary is too poor. The judges dig professional works. So, I learned that I should mostly write from my heart and not my head. I don't know if that makes sense. Just be proud of my writing and accept my mistakes and try to fix them.

M: This makes sense.❣️You have really learned a lot.

C: This learned and learnt. Very confusing nonsense

M: Both are correct.😹😹 One is British, the other, American.

C: Thank you. πŸ’†πŸΏβ€β™€οΈ

Q: You're welcome. How did leaving the house make you feel?

C: I didn't want to go at first. But I sucked it up and left. No biggie.

Q: That's brave.✨ What do you think made you get evicted and how do you plan to improve?

C: Hmm... I believe execution. There is a lot. I plan on improving by reading books, professional write ups and continue writing till my ink finish.

Q: All right.✨✨ Good. Good. What was your last moment in the house?

C: I can't remember. I am a very quiet house mate.

Q: Okayyy. Is there anyone you'll like to give a shout-out to?

C: No one in particular.

M: Really?

C: Should it be like a fellow housemate?

M: Yeahh.

C: Okay then. I simply love Jagunjagun, such a great writer and so consistent. I've been a fan ever since I started reading her work. So shout out to Jagunjagun.

Q: Awww. I'm sure she'll be glad to see this. Finally, tell us your last words.

C: OK.

I am so glad i joined project pen. I should be kinda sad I am going, but you people tried for me. I am happy and grateful I joined.

All other contestants, the ones that are still in the show and the ones that have gone, you guys are all amazing writers. To be honest, I learned a lot from the way you write.

Then to my wise judges, who I hardly know: you guys are forever loved. Especially Judge Orange, thank you for putting so much trust in my writing. You kind of boosted my spirit through out my time here. Please, I need to know you too, let me bless you with one cold malt. E no easy.

Then M1 and M2, such calm and nice souls. They were always supportive of each writer with their great advice. I am very sure M1 is waiting for me to end.πŸ˜…

God bless you all greatly❀️.

Let me drop mic 🎀

M: Whoaaa. This is long.😹❀️

C: Yes. I poured out my long-stored love.

M: πŸ˜ΉπŸ˜‚ But thank you, too.✨ I'm glad we were able to help in a way. God bless you too.❀️ Again, Recy, thank you so much for taking this interview, and for your time. It's been really nice getting to know you.😊✨

Project wishes you all the best!!!!

C: Kk. Bye!

Penname: YourCryptic Grey.
Wattpad username: hanteros
Serial Number: 003

M: You were evicted from the project pen house and I was asked to interview you. Are you ready?

C: Yes.

Q: Firstly, tell us your pen name and your serial number.

C: YourCryptic Grey 003.

Q: So, tell us your real name, in full and something you think everyone should know about you.

C: My full name is Ivie Otas and I spend more time in the made up world in my head than I do in the real world, so in case you ever text me or something and my replies are off, I want you to know that I am not drunk. That is just me 24/7. I also identify as a clown, so you know where to find me in case you need one for your parties :)

M: Amusing!

Q: And how old is Ivie?

C: I'm turning nineteen in December, actually. I'm still finding that hard to process.

M: You'll be fine.

Q: Could you give us a brief explanation on why you joined project pen?

C: To be very honest, I joined because I just can't see a competition and pass it by. Project pen came at a time when I was swamped with work and personal issues so I contemplated not applying. But then I saw that it was for Nigerians on wattpad and I knew that I couldn't miss it for the world.

Q: That's nicee. How was the experience?

C: It was amazing. I've always wanted to write on prompts but never actually got around to it. So I found it really cool that we were writing based on them. I also love the fact that I got to touch on new genres. Then I made new friends, met new people. It was beautiful.

M: This is heartwarming.

Q: How did you feel about your eviction?

C: I honestly felt a bit sad that I was going to leave the groupchat and the few friends I made there, but as for leaving the competition, the moment I saw that we would be judged based on our previous submissions, I knew that I was going to leave having already seen the judge's reviews, so it didn't really take me by surprise.

Q: In essence, you're saying you weren't suprised about your eviction. Could you shed more light on that and how you plan on improving?

C: Oh yes. As I mentioned earlier, these were new genres that I hadn't touched before so I knew that I had to do some research before writing on the prompts, but because I was terribly busy, I didn't do either of those things and I see how it affected my works. I've learnt my lesson and would not hop on a competition without making sure that I have the time for it.

M: That's excellent.

Q: What's one thing you learned while you were still a contestant, that you know you'll forever remember?

C: I think I learnt that opinions are a real thing. I mean it's something I've always known but this contest made it all the more obvious. There's a possibility that this judge might like my entry and the other might not. I also learnt that you never know the extent of what you can do until you try.

M: 'You never know the extent of what you can do except you try' I love that.

Q: What were your last moments in the house?

C: Ah! It was saying goodbye to my friends in the house. It was a bit emotional and very much beautiful. I love those people. Also, hey JagunJagun! I never had a personal conversation with her but I just love her vibe so much!

Q: All right. Is there anyone you would like to give a shout-out to?

C: Ah, yes. I'd like to give a shout-out to SA Writer for turning out to be such a beautiful soul!

M: Awww. This is sweet.

Q: What are your last words?

C: I just want to thank the organisers of Project Pen for coming up with something this fabulous. The judges, admins, the people, you all are just so beautiful and I'm glad I got to meet all of you and even though I don't get to compete till the end, I am very glad that I got to this point. Once again, thank you for the opportunity!

M: Thank you so much for this and for taking out time for this interview. We wish you the best.

Beautiful!❀️ We'll definitely miss you, Cryptic Grey. YourCrypticGrey is the writer of Obliterated Beginning here on Wattpad. Storm her page and check out her work. You won't regret it.

Penname: A.B Cleo
Wattpad username: Regalityritez
Serial Number: 005

M: You were evicted from the project pen house and I was asked to interview you. Are you ready?

C: Yes.

Q: Firstly, tell us your pen name and your serial number.

C: A.B Cleo 005

Q: So, tell us your real name, in full and something you think everyone should know about you.

C: Adebukola Mercy Ajayi and I guess I just want them to know I tried. πŸ₯²

M: That's cool.

Q: And how old is Mercy?

C: I'm 18 years old.

Q: Could you give us a brief explanation on why you joined project pen?

C: To be honest, I was scared of writing competitions so I never joined one before. But a friend of mine shared a post about the competition to me and It was a 'right thing at the right time' kind of moment. Something just told me that's it was time I got out the box.

Q: Shout-out to your friend! That's nicee. How was the experience?

C: It was scary at first, I kept comparing myself to all the other competitors and I couldn't wait to get evicted. But seeing how everyone else had the same fears and still had to courage to continue gave me strength. It felt amazing not giving up and seeing it through to the end. So all in all, I loved being a part of project pen for as long as I was.

M: It feels good to hear this.

Q: Firstly, congrats on coming this far but how did you feel about your eviction?

C: Kinda sad, I guess I wanted to write more drafts.

M: What do you mean by that?

C: I love writing stories but I rarely find the motivation to write them.

M: Oh, I get it now. The tasks gave you a push to write more.

Q: What do you think made you get evicted and how do you plan on improving on that?

C: Well, I believe I got evicted because I couldn't interprete most of the themes correctly and of course my failure to make use of punctuations properly. I'm going to work on that so that I can improve and get better.

M: That's excellent.

Q: What's one thing you learned while you were still a contestant, that you know you'll forever remember?

C: I'm not sure. I guess I learnt to just start. I often worried about the stories I had to write. But I learnt that it was okay to just start from anywhere.

M: Yeah, that's a real thing. Just start writing even if you don't know what you're doing yet.

Q: What were your last moments in the house?

C: Well, obviously, it was me saying byeπŸ˜„ but I had a discussion about my love for geography at the last moment so that too.

M: All right. Is there anyone you would like to give a shout-out to?

C: I'd like to give a shout out to JagunJagun. I wasn't close to he/her but I loved his/her stories and they actually pushed me to want to be as good as he/she is. I wish her the best.

M: Awww, this is sweet. JagunJagun will be so happy to see this.

Q: What are your last words?

C: My last words are just a very big 'thank you'. Being here was an experience I'll never forget. I'm glad I got to have it.

M: Thank you so much for this and for taking out time for this interview. We wish you the best.

Project Pen is proud of your growth Cleo! The sky is your limit. Keep striving πŸ”₯✨.
