In Anticipation of;

PROJECT PEN STAGE ONE

Good day to All!

It is of great delight that, we, the community of Project Pen formerly announce it that the STAGE ONE of our contest, officially begins tommorow, on the the 9th of July, 2022.

Are we ready to see the amazing works of the Contestants?? Because we can't wait to show you!

With immense joy and anticipation, we are going to break it down to you what we envision the first stage of our competition to be like.

First and Foremost, we call Stage One the BLIND IMPRESSION STAGE.

A breakdown of this stage is as followed;

1) Having that the identities of our contestants are anonymous, and the judges have no idea who they are, each and every one of them will submit their work for judgement.

2) Judges will, amongst themselves vote the works of the contestants a YES or a NO, and the ratio of a work's YES to its NO (s) will be the determining factor of the contestants fate, and chances of making it into the SECOND STAGE of the competition.

Or, in other words, it will determine if the contestant falls into the GREEN LINE or the RED LINE.

3) The concept of the GREEN LINE and the RED LINE is simple.

I) Project Pen comprises of nine judges, and as the requirement of Stage One goes, every judge MUST cast a Yes or No vote to every work they read, written by the contestants. There are nine judges, and if a contestant earns themselves more yes than no, for example, a total of six yes and three no(s), then they are automatically in the GREEN LINE.

II) Getting into the Green Line means that they made it successfully into the next phase of the Project Pen: Stage Two.

III) However, if the reverse is the case and a Contestant earns more No(s) than Yes(s), then, they are in the danger zone, and are automatically in the RED LINE.

IV) Being in the Red Line does not guarantee that a contestant has not made it into the Second Stage, but it means that they are at the risk of being evicted.

V) There is still a chance that a Red Liner could make it into the second stage of Project Pen. This could happen for many reasons being;

a) A Vote of Mercy from a reasonable number of Judges.

and,

b) In a situation whereby, the quota for the number of Contestants needed for Stage Two needs to be filled.

This means that we have a rounded up number of Contestants that we want at the end of Stage One of Project Pen, and if the Green Liners are not enough and do not make it up to the number we decided, then, we would have to pick the next best alternatives from the Red Liners, in order to fill in the gap.

So, that means that all hope is not lost for the Red liners!(◍‒ᴗ‒◍)❀

4) Finally, the Stage One of Project Pen will span across TWO WEEKS!

Our 26 Contestants have been divided into two equal batches, and tommorow, on the 9th of July, we will see the works of our first 13 contestants and the reviews from the Judges!

Batch A Contestants go this week.

And Batch B Contestants go next week.

The List of the Green Liners and Red Liners, as well as the final verdict of the judges will not be announced until the end of Next week, after we have a collective results of ALL the contestants.

However, tommorow, anticipate the works of our Batch A Contestants, and the Judges Reviews. Maybe you can tell from the Reviews who may be going home or who may be staying? Who knows? We wish all out Contestants the best of Luck!

TWO CONTESTANTS WILL BE EVICTED AFTER STAGE ONE.

Good Luck to everyone!

And anticipate the Stage One: Blind Impression Stage of Project Pen, starting tommorow!πŸŽ‰
