The company was founded in 1950 by former model Catherine Laurent, a gutsy woman who wasn't afraid of the modelling industry ruled by men at the time. Over five years, she finally managed to select the perfect models and her company was selected to walk for the Paris Fashion Week 1955. Almost immediately, the French were captivated by Romantique's models for their kindness, softness, diversity, and creativity. Romantique went up the ranks as the years passed, and Catherine Laurent is still the owner of that agency to this day.

𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐄 & 𝐅𝐀𝐔𝐍𝐄

Founded in 1960 by Faun and Flora Brown, a married couple, Flore & Faune quickly took the world by storm because of the Browns' generational wealth. Faun was highly influential, managing to book his first Paris Fashion Week show within a year of his company's start-up. Flore & Faune looks for models with wit, confidence, determination, and independence. However, Faun passed away in 1990, leaving ownership to Christopher Brown, his son.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐘

By the time the Paris Fashion Week 1965 rolled in, Romantique and Flore & Faune had both flourished and grown to be well-known all around France. Both companies fought for the top title, their numbers and wealth fair in number. In 1966, there were rumours that Catherine Laurent and Flora Brown were having a queer affair, which caused a scandal, leading to both Romantique and Flore & Faune plummeting down the market. Over the years, the two companies have painstakingly recovered, but the rivalry was clear as day. As of now, Catherine Laurent and Flora Brown are no longer on speaking terms.

1. Treat people with kindness, don't be rude! Again, while I stated this apply fic is inspired by the previous Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter drama, I love both singers and personally believe the drama was just the fault of disrespectful fans. Please, don't be rude to neither fanbases!

2. Diversity should be here in the apply fic, like POC or male characters. Particularly, Romantique is known for its diversity. Also, I would prefer sexualities like bisexual or pansexual to keep it out in the open in case there's a flood of one-gendered characters. Of course, it's up to you though.

4. Age gaps! For love interest, they'll be all be legal adults, but don't make it freaky and gross! ↳ Stylists mainly work behind the scenes, but their jobs are one of the most important ones. They account for the model's hair, outfit flow, shoes, jewelry, and so much more. They need to be hardworking, creative, quick learner, and eye for fashion. They will not be considered for the Award of Beauty, but they are a heavy contribute.

↳ Graphic Designers work with Editorial Models, though they can work with Runway Model sometimes. They will not be present at Paris Fashion Week, though they'll be in the audience. Traits need are creative, artistic liberty, deep passion, and computer/photoshop skills. They will not be considered for the Award of Beauty.

↳ Agents are the ones that manage Runway and Editorial Models, often recruiting and working closely with the models. They manage shipments and scheduling modelling events. Agents will be needed at the Paris Fashion Week. They need to be leaders, strong-headed, organized, and good charm. They will not be considered for the Award of Beauty. Note: They should be in their late twenties opposed to someone younger.
