chapter ten
SLEEPING DEMEANOURS ━━
ANTHONY FELT HIS ENTIRE LOWER HALF GIVE OUT IN THE ABSOLUTE WORST way ever. Being a hormonal teenager was pretty normal, probably more than average to get a stiff one every now and then. Except for when a guy leans over your shoulder. He didn't understand why his body was reacting the way it did, he didn't feel any sexual attraction to Ethan at all. He thought the guy was pretty cute and good looking but it wasn't much more than that. His face flushed the brightest version of red humanly possible, he covered his mouth with the remaining hand as his eyes widened.
This could not be happening.
"Fuck- fuck, fuck!" He whispered to himself as he tried to distract himself from thinking about how good Ethan looked. He noticed this boy kind of always looked good, that may be subjective and his own opinion but he couldn't see how others couldn't find him good looking. Like holy damn.
He thought about everything to try and get the stiffy down as quick as possible before Ethan woke up. Sam, mom, dad, Hawk, Robby, Kenny- wait the last one might have made it a bit worse. Fuck. At that very moment Anthony cursed being a boy, he cursed his stupid genitals and their urge to go hard in the worst possible timings ever. He hated hormones. He hated his entire body as a whole. Damn traitors.
Being a girl seemed easier, well, if you scrap the pedophile's and the misogyny. Besides, if he was a girl maybe he could date Ethan. Anthony wasn't gay though, he never liked guys and he never would. He just couldn't pinpoint what attraction he was feeling towards Ethan that made his body react so incredibly quick. He never got one of these when Yasmine or any other girl he found good looking stood close to him, maybe his body was confusing Ethan with a girl, that's it!
Nobody could tell Anthony that his explanation for his body's reaction was absurd at that moment, but it was absolutely absurd. Denial seemed to be his strongest feeling.
"Hey Anth, we're ordering pizza what do you want?" Sam asked as she leaned on the doorframe, her eyes snapped upwards as she noticed how Ethan was closely nuzzling up to Anthony in his sleep. Her eyes widened, "I knew you two would become a thing!" She exclaimed almost with pride.
"Demetri owes me five bucks." She noted to herself, proud that her accusations ended up being true, or so she thought. Anthony went foolishly red and quickly shook his head no forgetting to be calmer to not wake the sleeping figure resting on his shoulder.
"No! No- me and Ethan are not dating- wait you and Demetri made a bet about us?!" Anthony exclaimed almost offended if he hadn't been blushing so harshly. Sam clapped her hand over her mouth and she let out a nervous giggle, "Maybe..?"
"Dude what the fuck." Anthony breathed out at his sister who seemed upset that they weren't anything official. "I'm not gay Sam, don't be weird." He mumbled which made Sam frown. It had been pretty odd to see her brother, her girl crazy brother, obsess over a boy this badly. It's why she knew this was different.
Luckily, due Sam her sudden barging and odd conversation topic his stiffy went down quickly. He was very relieved his sister never saw him in that horrible situation. "Yeah whatever Anth, as long as you believe it. Also, why are you so red?" Sam asked skeptically looking at Anthony his rosy cheeks.
"Nothing- get out Sam!" Anthony exclaimed clearly embarrassed, Sam almost let out a comedic laugh. She had never seen her brother act like this with anyone before, sure like the hormonal teenager he was he sometimes stared at her friends but he was never this nervous. He was a wreck.
Sam rolled her eyes at her brother's tactics, "Okay, calm down. Watch out before you wake him up." She explained amused, she watched as her brother turned red. She pitied him slightly but at the same time she held back a giggle. Anthony turned his head gently towards Ethan his direction who he found to be quite the deep sleeper.
"So, pepperoni?" Sam asked, Anthony glared her direction before weakly nodding. "Yeah, yeah.. and I think Ethan mentioned he really liked barbecue chicken." Anthony mumbled, Sam perked up smiling before she left.
He was glad Sam left so quickly without further questioning, he wouldn't want to admit that he only knew this because Ethan mentioned it once talking to Miguel. He wasn't an eavesdropper, he just seemed to always be conveniently listening whenever it's about Ethan.
Totally not weird, totally not a crush. Anthony liked to call it friendly gestures.
