THE LIFE OF A SAMSON WAS ONLY ONE PEOPLE DREAMED OF. They were a family of secrecy, one that helped the overall city of New York. An Enterprise that had risen to a level the same as Stark Enterprises. Both groups are very different with their contributions to society, but the same want of outcome; make the world a better place.

THAT SINGLE PHILOSOPHY HAD BEEN DRILLED INTO JASON SAMSON'S MIND SINCE HE WAS JUST A CHILD. Both his parents wanted him to follow in their footsteps and to be ready to aid New York when he came of age. And it had been what he wanted when he saw his parents doing fundraisers for the poorer parts of New York. The Angels of New York had been what the media called the couple.

THE NAME CAME HOUSEHOLD KNOWLEDGE WHEN THE CHITAURI INVADED NEW YORK. The Samson's funded the reconstruction and clean-up of the city. They did the same for Washington when a Hellicarrier came crashing down from the sky. But when Thanos came to Earth, everything changed. Half of the universe is snapped out of existence and Jason's parents are along with it.

AFTER THE BLIP, PEOPLE WERE REUNITED WITH THEIR LOVED ONES. People were returning to their normal lives. Jason followed soon after, welcoming his parents in the warm embrace he had missed. Upon their return, they were eager to get back to work. Since Jason had held the company down greatly, learning the process that his parents go through. But they were also eager to celebrate the success their son had with their absence, deciding to go out for dinner.

BUT WITH HOW THE WORLD WAS DURING THE BLIP, THINGS HAD CHANGED. Crime rates had risen and they doubled with half the population coming back so suddenly. People had risen to power and had continued with their work despite the Blip. Unfortunately, Jason and his parents had stepped into a situation that ended with two losing their lives and one is left scarred.

JASON HADN'T KNOWN HOW TO GO ABOUT HIS LIFE AFTER THAT NIGHT. Unsure if he should be grieving or should be hellbent on finding the man responsible for his parent's death. Gaining comfort from Carlton, his Uncle and his butler, Felix. But it had been his parent's words that rang in his head; make the world a better place.

THOSE WORDS HAD BEEN WHAT MADE HIM BEGIN TRAINING AND BECOMING THE MAN THAT HE NEEDED TO BECOME. When the time came, Jason stepped out of the shadows and began to clean up the streets. Day by day, he was making a change and a lot of praise was sent towards the man. But it was only a matter of time before he started hunting the man that took his parents away from him.

TIME CAME AND JASON HAD STARTED ON HIS PATH. Taking the aid of some colleges of his and searching up and down. But what he hadn't been expecting was to be pulled into another problem going on in his life. One by the name of Kate Bishop. Who had no idea her childhood friend went by the vigilante name of Precursor? The man who came before any traditional justice could be done.

Jason Samson is heavily inspired by Batman and Red Hood and I've been practically jumping off the walls in excitement for The Batman movie to come out. I also decided to add Joseph Martello (if you know his villain name in the comics, good on you) because I haven't seen him mentioned in the MCU or any other Marvel fanfic. He just seemed right to have in this story and if I wasn't going to use him in this, I was going to use him in another Marvel fic.
