NOW THAT I HAVE A TIME LIMIT, CONVINCING BELLA AND MANAGING JACOB HAS TO BE MY MAIN PRIORITY. Thankfully nobody seemed to be too worried. Even Edward, who said that I should be the one to get close to Bella before he went further with her. Something about not wanting Jacob to get involved there. He promised that he would watch over her and intervene if anything bad was going to happen to her, though. He promised he would do the same for both of us.

"When you talk with Bella, see if she'd want to go to the mall with us sometime," Alice asked as she walked hand in hand with Jasper. "Rose and I need a new shopping buddy!"

"Do you ever get sick of shopping, Alice?" I pushed her arm a bit as I jumped into the car. "Are you walking home today?"

"Yeah, but we're going through the woods. That way y'all have enough room when ya pick up Esme," Jasper answered with his typical goofy smile.

"Make sure you don't get another speeding ticket," Alice pointed at Emmett as he got into the car, "Dad's wanting us to be extra careful with Charlie Swan."

"You ruin my fun, sis," Emmett complained as Rose snickered in the back seat. "Don't you laugh at me, babe, you were going 90 last night!"

Rose scoffed. "That is not true."

"88 may as well be 90," Edward added with a cheeky smile. "Can we not be late to school today? Fennie actually has to take our English test like a normal human."

"So lame," Emmett said, "No fun, not cool at all."

"We'll see you at school!" Alice promised as she and Jasper waved. Within seconds she and him had disappeared into the woods that surrounded their house on the hill.

THEY'D BARELY MADE IT TO CLASS ON TIME. I had to admit, neither Rosalie or Emmett were the best drivers out there. Carlisle was the most careful while Alice managed to come in second place just because I know her gift would not allow her to crash.

Esme refused to drive purely because she hates traffic that much. She hasn't had a license in years and prefers to walk to and from work.

Today was one of the rare occasions where she wanted to be picked up after school. Something about a weird guy following her on her way home. She doesn't want to have to "rip his slimey face off' according to her. She's lucky she hasn't brought it up with Carlisle, he may break his streak of nonviolence if he witnesses someone being weird with his mate.

There had been an alleged uptick of crime in the area which was likely the result of the discomfort. Turns out, according to Rose, criminals have a horrible radar for vampire women who can kill you in a second. Rose had killed plenty of men who came up to her with bad intentions and even Alice had to kill a few people to get away from them. Thankfully Jasper had only had one guy try and mug him which ended in him... well, dead.

Esme wasn't the kind of person who really wanted to kill these people, though. She wanted to get away from the situation, which makes sense. Carlisle says he's never been mugged but that's probably because he's tall and doesn't roam around at night so he never gets put in that position. Rose and Alice shop late at night so they don't have to worry about what they wear.

I don't shop or go out at night. I've never really... been out like that. When I turn, I'll have to figure out what camp I fall into in regards to killing those who would wish me harm while out and about.

For the future, we were picking Esme up until the crime rate went down near her work. Or at least until someone had dealt with the guy who was trying to stalk her home.

Thankfully, we were in the final class of the day and I would be getting to see her soon!

"When does this class end?" Edward groaned as our teacher droned on about history we'd known about since fifth grade. "Do you want to cook together tonight, Fennie?"

"Edward, do you have something to share with the class?" Our teacher stared at the two of us and shook his head. "Just be quiet, actually."

I lowered my head shamefully but Edward was beside me trying to laugh just quiet enough to not have the teacher notice. This was our least favorite class purely because half of it was lecture and the other half was reading and proving that you took notes. Except he gave us too much time for notes which meant that the first half of class was so boring. It wouldn't be so bad if the lecture wasn't nearly the same information as the book which most of us read ahead in.

My boyfriend was the most annoyed by this class out of all of his siblings. Alice and Rose went on their phones in the back but the teacher wasn't letting us all sit at the back for some reason. Sometimes it feels like the school just doesn't want us to be a group. I'm sure if we were random humans there would be a logical reason for it, but for now it was just super annoying.

As much as Edward likes to pretend to be the perfect student, this was not the first time we've gotten in trouble for talking in this class or any class.

It's not our fault that the United States constitution is not as interesting as our teacher makes it out to be.

Edward and I tried to stay as quiet as possible until the end of our class. When the final bell rang, we carefully slipped out of the class to join up with the rest of the Coven who had been doing a job for a different teacher that period.

As we approached, I heard Emmett and Rosalie arguing over who got to take me to dinner first. Unfortunately for Emmett, Rose's logic was winning over his as since they were together, the gossip mill would go crazy over him and I being seen in an establishment together. Since Rose was not out as bisexual and neither was I, us going to a fancy place on a date would just been seen as friendly rather than the romantic action that it really was.

Poor Emmett, he really just wanted to take me on a date.

"We will go on a double date with Edward and just take the uneaten food home," I insisted as I tried to motion them to leave. "Let's not be late picking up Esme."

"She'd be so pissed," Emmett admitted and finally began walking towards the doors, hand in hand with Rose.

"Do you want me to do your homework tonight, baby?" Rose offered as she broke free of Emmett just to kiss the top of my head. "No more critique of Animal Farm? So you can get your beauty sleep?"

"It's a two page paper, babe," Emmett turned around as they reached the parking lot. "Plus, didn't you ask me to write your Animal Far, Critique?"

Rose rolled her eyes and motioned him to keep moving. The rest of us let out our own laughs. They were always like this, bickering over small things that they let go pretty fast. To be fair, as petty as Rose is, literally anyone will tell you that Emmett is 100x pettier and will make your life Hell if you wrong him.

Just like every day, I jumped into the back seat (because it's safer) and opened up a book. Edward hadn't gotten into the car yet, so I assumed he was just waiting for Rose to join me in the back seat.

"Ed, get in the car," Emmett demanded.

When I turned my head around to see what the great hold up was, Edward wasn't there.

Then came the crash.
