───── 𝐈vanna '𝐈vy' 𝐂ampbell was a damned meant to break.

Being the daughter of Demeter, she was blessed with the voice of the earth and the touch of rebirth. However, as good as that sounds, too much power flowing in a demigod's veins is enough to kill them, thus blessing Ivy with the ability to kill with just a single touch of her finger. Ironic how Ivy, a child of Demeter, who breathes life onto plants with a single touch could simply take it away if she had wanted to with that exact same touch. Who wouldn't have wanted such a blessing? (that was sarcasm)

The poison was in her blood, and thankfully, something that she had the ability to control. But was still deadly nonetheless. Ivy could feel the stinging sensation flowing through the tips of her fingers as if trying to unleash a part of her that was not clinging itself onto her pure soul ─ who she truly was. But who truly was Ivy? She didn't even know anymore.

This poison was a curse for Ivy to have, the long gruelling hours with Chiron to learn to control it the very moment she stepped foot onto camp. The small alarming moments her touch withered the fields due to her anger, wondering if it had been a human, would they have withered away so easily as well.

Chiron kept it a secret from the others, and so did she. For she was a daughter of Demeter ─ who could judge whether you should live or die.

What a twist of fate that was.

Ivy despised it. She despised being scared to touch people without having to worry whether she would be the last face they saw. Despised having to hide from everyone what she was capable of in order to fit in. Despised her mother for dawning on her this so-called blessing. Hated her stupid ability for causing her to not have experienced one quest at all in her 5 years of living in the camp.

She despised so many things but not as much as how much she despised Percy Jackson.

Who wouldn't know Percy Jackson? The boy who made a dramatic entrance the moment he stepped foot on to camp. The boy in which chaos seemed to follow wherever he went. He barely even stayed in camp for a week but Percy freaking Jackson went on more quests than she had.

Percy Bloody Jackson was presented as a hero, while Ivy stamped herself as the hidden monster of Camp Half-Blood.

Of course, no one knew that, so she was merely the wonderful gardener of Camp Half-Blood. Still, she found herself becoming jealous as hard as she tried not to, she just couldn't help it. What was the purpose of her training every hour of every day to be a better version of herself than what Chiron thinks she might be if in the end she was just imprisoned in camp most of the time? How could she prove to herself that she was much more capable than becoming . . . a monster?

But to be fair, besides those reasons, that wasn't necessarily the reason she hated the son of the Sea God. Yes, she despised the way his sea-green eyes seemed to make her arms tingle or the way he looked at her as if she was a puzzle he needed to solve. She does admit that she finds him irritably insufferable to be around having to remember his glories in life (if that was what it was even called). Yes, Ivy Campbell does despise Percy Jackson for many reasons, however, his not-so-dumb-witted mind and his observant ass would forever stay at the top, accentuated in red.

For he was the only one who seemed to be able to see right through her.

FINALLY!!). as you can see I am also back from the dead (I was once faye but changed my name to my nickname bea yes), and have gifted you all with my darling child, ivy campbell (and many more other children who will be present later on).

I will not lie to you all though, I am a SUCKERRR for percy jackson (I believe you all are too because if you aren't, why are you here in the first place????) and have always wanted to make a plot with him as the love interest. To add on, I am in love with ivy, (and naz + luna, my other children) so I hope as the story goes, you all would be in love with her just as much as I am.
