First off-- apologies for not being so clear about how the tie-in edition of pjo will work. Let me clarify, now that I know more (I previously got my info from twitter fan accounts, which isn't always the best lol):

A Tie-In Edition of any given book is often released for books being adapted to a movie/TV series. They have special photoshoots or pictures from the film on the cover to promote and help people find the book if they first came from the TV show. This does NOT mean that now you can't buy books in the current cover. Those are also being sold, as far as I know. It's super exciting though! According to the amazon page for The Lightning Thief Tie-In Edition, there will also be 8 images inside the book somewhere with actors and other content from the show.

The release date of this book, November 21 of this year, is an indicator to when the show might be released. Although we know the general time period of the release date already, this gives us much more hope for late 2023, or at least very early 2024!! Tie-Ins are typically released somewhere from a few days to a month before the film airs. 

Another book is also planned for release the same day-- November 21, 2023. No one has officially announced it, but it does have an amazon listing. 

"From the World of Percy Jackson Camp Half-Blood Confidential: Your Real Guide to the Demigod Training Camp". 

It's not quite clear exactly what this will be, but it appears to have the same number of pages as Camp Half-Blood Confidential. I'm not sure if this will be updated from the original or not, but it's possible it will be another Tie-In Edition (there might be new drawings and a cover).
