THE black car came to a slow halt, Juliette adjusting her jacket and Camille thanked their driver. "Alright, let's move, Carter. You've got 2 interviews today and I do not want to be late to either of them."

Juliette rolled her eyes, opening the door and stepping out, the blonde quick to keep up with the woman. Outside of the building stood Nicholas, Juliette's publicist, the tall man staring down at his phone intently with a Bluetooth earpiece in one of his ears.

As the two women approached him, he glanced up at them and sighed just relief, "Juliette, babe. So happy to see you," He squeezed her arm with a bright smile, Juliette mirroring his expression as he guided her into the buildings lobby.

"Okay, you've got the Wired Autocomplete interview and the Allure 9 new things interview. We've got three hours until the Allure interview, so let's keep things quick. You look great, you'll just need some touch ups on your makeup."

Juliette playfully rolled her eyes as they stepped into the elevator, "Thanks, Nicky. Very inspiring."

"Ground rules," Nicholas sent her a playful side eye, "I know you've been spending a lot of time with that Drew guy, don't act surprised, Camille's a blabber mouth." Juliette's jaw dropped and she glared at Camille, who guilty smiled with a shrug.

"For now, let's keep any and all answers about your love life vague. No need to lie if you're not comfortable with it, just dodge the question or shift your answer. I don't want a repeat of Griffin." Nicholas stared down at his phone as they exited the elevator, Juliette keeping in stride with him.

"Second, keep it PG, babe. I know you love your inappropriate jokes and sexual innuendoes. But let's keep it YouTube friendly, yeah?"

"Got it."

"And third," He stopped and turned towards Juliette before they entered the room, "Do not talk about the extended version of emails i can't send. We still haven't announced it and I want it to be special for your first ever deluxe album. Got it?"

Juliette nodded, walking inside the room behind him before she was whisked away to hair and makeup.

45 minutes talking to the nice ladies in makeup went by too quick for Juliette, and she was starting to get anxious as they sat her down on a chair in front of a white backdrop, a pile of cardboard poster boards next to the chair.

"Okay, Miss Carter-"

"Please, call me Juliette." She smiled at the woman in the other side of the camera, not in view of the lens but in perfect view of Juliette. The woman, whose name she learned was Naita, smiled and nodded, "Juliette, you're gonna go through the boards in the order they're stacked in beside you. Answer freely, and how you please. We want you to do the interview intro first, 'Hello, I'm Juliette Carter, and this is the Wired Autocomplete Interview' and then we'll get started on the board questions. Just peel the pieces of paper away to reveal the questions, and you can place, or toss, the boards away once you're done. Are you ready?"

Juliette cleared her throat and adjusted her jewelry and hair before nodding, internally preparing herself to be the peppy, outgoing and lighthearted girl she likes to portray herself as, "Ready."

"In 3, 2, 1, Go Juliette."

"Hi, I'm Juliette Carter and this is the Wired Autocomplete Interview." She waved at the camera, ready to begin as she bent over to grab a board.

The questions were typical, What has Juliette Carter been in, Where to find Juliette Carters new album, Where is Juliette Carter from, and there were some silly ones like what her allergies were, her impressions that she does, her special talents.

Near the end of the interview, the boards, filled with questions that started with her name, she came across one that stumped her.

She smiled as she peeled the piece of paper away, face falling for the quickest second before she contained it and resumed smiling, "Juliette Carters boyfriend." She giggled and looked over at the camera, "I do not have a boyfriend. But if anyone is free," She joked, winking at the camera and using her hand to make a telephone by her ear, ignoring the racing of her heart in her chest.

The rest of the interview, and the other one after that, went fine. But the entire day, that question stuck with her.

Lyla lay spread across Juliette's chest on top of the pink blanket she had cuddled up with, the sound of New Girl playing softly from her tv filling her quiet living room.

The blonde sighed, fingers dancing across Lyla's fur as her brain tuned the show out. She couldn't help but think about the interview, telling the camera that she didn't have a boyfriend was...weird. Did she have a boyfriend? Was she single? What were she and Drew doing? They hadn't made anything official, offically, but they had done enough to warrant a relationship status.

As her brain spiraled down the steep hill of self doubt, her hands reached for her dinging phone, lifting it from the cushion by her hip and opening her messages.

JULIETTE bit the inside of her cheek, taking a glance at the mess on her coffee table. She huffed, gently moving Lyla off her chest and onto the back of her couch before jumping up to clean off the take out containers, empty cups and napkins.

Once she had cleared and wiped the coffee table, she worked on the kitchen, putting away dishes, loading the dishwasher, wiping the counters. And, since she was apparently in a cleaning mood, quickly did a once over of her room, throwing clothes in the hamper, cleaning her bathroom counter and making her bed.

When she was done, she rolled her eyes at the state of herself. Old sweatpants, stained hoodie, messy hair. She groaned, frustrated with how little time she had to make herself look good, muttering to herself as she stripped her clothes off and turned on her shower.

The hot water in her skin felt better than she had expected, instantly soothing her off mood as she scrubbed her body and hair.

Before she knew it, she was stepping out of the shower with a smile, freshly shaved and smelling good. She didn't have much time between stepping out and pulling out her skincare before her phone was ringing.

The girl furrowed her brows, grabbing the device from the counter and staring down at the contact with wide eyes. It was Drew.

She cleared her throat, answering the call and placing it on speaker as she scrambled to moisturize her skin. "Hello?"

"Hey, I've been knocking. Is everything okay?"

Juliette internally groaned, anxiously bringing her hands to her still wet hair and turning in circles in search of her robe, "Uh, yeah!" She spoke, looking around her closet for the item, "I just got out of the shower, I'll be right there!"

She quickly ended the call, groaning in frustration at the lack of her robe anywhere in sight. "Fuck." She hissed, swinging the bathroom door open and rushing through her apartment to the front door.

Taking a deep breath in, she calmed her dizzy head and opened the door. Drew was standing there with a plastic bag at his side, Sweatpants and a hoodie adorning his tall figure and a backwards hat hiding his hair.

"Hey-hi." He chuckled, glancing down at her towel clad figure before looking away. Juliette chuckled nervously, stepping aside and allowing the blushing man into her apartment. "Sorry, I couldn't find my robe. Just give me one minute."

Drew nodded, looking everywhere but her as she locked the door behind him and rushed back into the safety her bathroom.

She cried out dramatically as she frantically dried her hair and applied her hair oils and then braided it all to the side, as well as applying her body lotion and perfume. She could not believe she had to open the door in a towel, she's traumatized. How was she supposed to look him in the eyes after that?

Juliette hurriedly pulled on a pair of white emails i can't send sweatpants, followed by a cropped pink tank top and a pair of socks.

She glanced at herself in the mirror, accepting her makeup-less face and still slightly damp hair. Shrugging, she grabbed a zip-up hoodie and slipped her feet into a pair of slippers before heading back out.

As she walked into the kitchen, she pulled the zip up over her arms and approached Drew, who was standing over her island and sorting through the bag from earlier.

"Hey. Sorry about that, I miscalculated how much time I had before you got here, I guess." She laughed nervously, smiling up at him as he turned around to look down at her.

He paused, a small smile slowly forming as he admired her, "It's okay." He mumbled, bending down to press his lips to her forehead, "I brought food."

She smiled, unable to hide the blush rising to her cheeks as she glanced at the mass amount of food on the table, "What'd you bring?"

"Well, I figured Chinese was always a good choice, but I wasn't sure what you liked, so I kinda just...got a little everything." He mumbled with a small chuckle, Juliette giggling with a nod. "I love Chinese. Did you get crab rangoons?" She stepped onto her tip toes to search for them.

Drew nodded and reached out, plucking the bag out of the pile and passing them to her. "I also got shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, broccoli beef, chicken chow mein, miso and egg drop soup, and egg rolls."

Juliette chuckled in surprise and raised an eyebrow up at him, "Are you feeding a family of 4?"

Drew tossed his head back with a laugh, making the girls lips twitch up wards, "I guess so. What—" He grabbed the chopsticks and handed her a pair, "—do you want to watch?" Juliette grabbed the chopsticks and reached for the chicken chow mein container, "Depends, what genre are we feeling?"

"Hm." He hummed as he popped open the broccoli beef, "Funny?" Juliette beamed and nodded, setting her food down and rounding the island towards her fridge. "Want anything to drink? I've got water, sweet tea, Coke, Corona and Coors Banquet. Oh, and Dr. Pepper." She peered back at him, watching as he finished his bite with a nod, "Corona, please."

Juliette smiled and grabbed a Corona for him and a Coors for herself, spinning back around and grabbing a bottle opener from her drawer before rounding the island again. "Okay. Animated comedy, romantic comedy, action comedy or adult comedy?"

"Hmm, animated comedy? I don't know, I'm feeling something easy, lighthearted. Disney, maybe?" Drew spoke, taking a sip of his beer. Juliette smiled and began gathering their food, Drew mirroring her before following her into her living room and setting everything down on the coffee table.

The two settled on the couch beside each other, Juliette opening Disney+ while Drew adjusted himself and began eating again. "How about Monsters Inc? I used to love that movie."

Juliette glanced back at Drew with a surprised smile, "Yeah, I love that movie." Drew grinned, taking another bite of his food as Juliette put the movie on.

Now, a few hours after, food finished and two movies later, the two were snuggled against each other on the couch.

Yet she couldn't focus on the movie. There were too many things running laps through her mind. Here she was, cuddling on her couch with this amazing guy that she'd totally been slowly falling for and...they're not labeled. She knows she shouldn't focus too much on labels, but after what she'd been through with guys, labels are kinda important to her.

"Hey, Drew?" The man hummed in acknowledgment, keeping his eyes on the movie but squeezing her bicep where his own arm rested behind her. "So, you know I did that Wired Autocomplete Interview yesterday-"

"Oh, yeah! How'd that go?" He looked down at her with a smile, her brain forgetting what her point was for a moment.

"Uh, well—" She cleared her throat, "One of the questions got me thinking, and I don't mean to make this uncomfortable or anything." She huffed, glancing over as he reached out to pause the movie and pay attention to her.

"Sorry." She chuckled, rubbing her forehead at her awkwardness, making Drew smile and shake his head. She sat up from her spot against his side, turning in place to face him, "What, uh—" She paused, scrunching her eyebrows as she attempted to put her words together. "What would you, uh, call us? Like, what are we doing?"

Drew's face fell, Juliette wincing at his puzzled expression, "Like, what are we?" He clarified, and Juliette nodded. "I just, want to know what's going on, ya know, with us."

His lips slowly grew upwards into a smile, hand reaching out to brush some of her hair behind her ear, "Well, what do you want it to be?" Juliette's cheeks bloomed a vicious shade of pink, peeling her eyes away from his with a shrug, "Well, I don't know. What do you want it to be?"

Drew laughed, leaning in to press his lips to her cheek, "C'mon, popstar. Speak your mind." He whispered, sending shivers down her spine. She cleared her throat, eyes looking over into his nervously. "Well, I'd like to call you something other than 'the guy I'm seeing'."

He smiled, "You could call me your boyfriend, if that's what you're saying." Juliette hummed teasingly, a burst of confidence flowing through her. She reached a hand up to rest on his neck, fingertips playing with the tufts of hair at his nape, "And what would you call me?"

He inhaled and clicked his teeth, reaching out to scoop under her thighs, swinging her into his lap. She yelped, grasping his shoulders with a smile that matched his, "Well, if you're calling me your boyfriend, I think it's only fair that I call you my girlfriend." He mumbled, hands coming to rest on her hips. She broke into a wide smile, placing both hands on the sides of his neck, "I think I can agree with that. It's only fair."

A small laugh rumbled through his chest as she leaned in, slotting her lips against his softly. Drew hummed, gripping her waist a bit tighter to pull her closer to his chest. The movie behind her drowned out, mind focused on the man below her as they moved their lips against each others.

Before they were able to get carried away, the boom of the movies credits began rolling, echoing loudly around the living room. The couple jumped in surprise, both of them laughing as Juliette pulled herself from his lap and began clearing the table of their beers and trash, "Wanna find another movie?"

Once Juliette had cleaned up their mess, she hastily grabbed the large blanket from her bed and cuddled onto the couch next to Drew, a new movie playing.

"How does the Greatest Showman sound?" Drew mumbled as Juliette adjusted herself under the blanket. She smiled up at him and nodded, "You've got great taste, Starkey."

He smirked and leaned down to press his lips against hers, "Clearly."
