Juliette Carter grew up with big dreams and high expectations. From the age of 5, she was singing and dancing in front of her parents in tiny concerts she'd set up, spending her time before bed watching Hannah Montana and dreaming of being just like her. And her parents supported her every step of the way, getting her into singing lessons and dance classes, sending her to a performing arts high school.

And Juliette was great. Not just good, or subpar, she was amazing. At 17, she had been posting videos of her singing covers and original songs, and a manager reached out to her in hopes of getting her into a real studio. An offer she couldn't pass up.

And now, at age 24, she was rising in the music industry, had an album and an EP out and even had a couple movies under her belt. She was loving her life and loved her job.

At a red carpet event for a new movie coming out, she meets Drew Starkey, an upcoming actor that she did not recognize at all. But they hit it off immediately, and then...they forgot to exchange their phone numbers.

Juliette figured it just wasn't meant to be, and didn't want to risk embarrassment by reaching out to him. But her friends were growing sick and tired of hearing about the guy, and decide to reach out to Drew's friends. To their surprise, his friends were also tired of hearing about the girl that got away.

So they plan to get the two back into a room without being too obvious, and it works. Juliette and Drew are attached at the hip from then on.

But not to Juliette's surprise, dating in this industry is not at all what it's cut out to be. It comes with media articles, fan attacks, and jealousy from the people around them. Juliette begins to wonder if the relationship is worth fighting for, or if they truly weren't meant to be.
