1. Superimpose — this app is helpful when it comes to manip apps, sometimes, because of the filter. On Android and Apple, it is only ¢99, but I am going to show you how to get it for free without it being illegal.

2. Camera360 — this is not an app most people would use to make book covers, but it has this one amusing filter called 'Sexy Lips' which is low key a good coloring if you don't use Photoshop.

3. Phonto — this is the app you'll use to put your titles, and maybe even a signature. Though, there are different versions — one for Android and the other for Apple. I, sadly, have to wait to get my IPhone, so I am stuck with the Android version – which is okay.

4. PicsArt — also perfect for manip, simple, and vector covers. the app has a lot of filters that are helpful when it comes to making manips and vectors.

5. Adobe Draw — this is the app you need to use to create vector covers. just to let you know how it is, here is an example;

5. PhotoLayers — app for edits and covers. you would be able to easily make png's and keep them. example;

6. WeHeartIt — it is usually mandatory for anyone making covers to use this app. you can easily find textures and pictures without any worries, sometimes.

7. Photoshop Mix — i can easily show you how to get this for free. this app is close to the actual Photoshop, but not quite. it can still be used to make good covers.

8. Polarr-i use this one for filters, it's amazing.
