S U M M A R Y

FOURTEEN years have passed since the humans were expelled from Pandora. The moon has healed, as have the people that fought for it. The Omaticaya have rebuilt, new lives given and peace found with the years passed. Life among the rainforest and vast wilderness is picturesque, until a new star appears in the night sky with the promise of tribulation at the hands of humans once again.

RUTH CARSON has spent years immersing herself in the world she fought for, learning to navigate it as a skillful hunter and a productive member of the Omaticaya clan, that of which her friend Jake Sully was now the leader. She has become strong in both body in soul, steeling her heart with the promise of a new adventure everyday.

Yet, she is ever so lonely. The one she thought she would find herself with for the rest of her life, Tsu'tey to Rongloa Ateyitan, perished in the battle that won Pandora her freedom. Ever since, Ruth has remained alone to nurse the grief that still eats away at her with every passing day. She stays strong for the three children she has adopted.

SIMON "GHOST" RILEY has been given a second chance he didn't ask for. Perishing in the Battle of the Hallelujah mountains was never supposed to happen, but it seemed even the Lieutenant and his squad were incapable of besting Pandora enough to get out alive. Brought back in the form of the enemy, he isn't quite sure how he's supposed feel, both about his new body or the fact that he died.

Now forced to tread a new path, Riley must navigate whether he truly is the man that lived the memories inside his head, or if he is meant to seek more meaning to the life he now walks as a human-na'vi hybrid soldier.

So this fic here is going to be the merging of two fandoms I love. And from the love that the pitch of it got on tumblr, it appears it's going to cater to a lot of people's interests🫡 I will be updating as I can because for those that don't know, I'm in school and it's a fast paced and rigorious program. So between that and the ups and downs of mental health, I will try my best. Comments and votes keep me motivated though👀

Just so no one gets confused, Ghost isn't a human in this (i would hope this is obvious). There will be some flashbacks to the 15ish years before, but that will be the only time he's human. It's difficult to get him edited as an avatar recom myself, so just use my descriptors in the actual story! Sorry about that lol

This is going to have plenty of deviations from what you might know as normal for COD. I took the liberty of changing things for the sake of character development, background, plot, and more considering this a crossover and I've never done one of these before. Nonetheless, I'm excited to be writing some angsty masked man trope type stuff so I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I'll enjoy writing it 😈
