𝟎𝟐 ┊⌗ 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄 ࿐ྂ

─── 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒑 𝒊𝒊 ❪ confusion ❫

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐍 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐒, leaving a warm glow on ( Y/N ) skin. Her eyes slowly woke up from the few sunrays illuminating her face, facing the white ceiling. She groaned quietly as she slowly sat up, which got Chip's attention, the mini bot climbed towards his carrier and nudged her bandaged hand.

( Y/N ) picked up her phone bot, and sighed in relief seeing her precious bot. The blue and grey mini cybertronian nuzzled in her neck, purring at his owner's attention. As the tiny robot was distracted, she looked around, seeing herself in a hospital room.

It was a typical hospital room, having the typical furniture, like a bedside table, and a chair. The room viewed the whole city and her eyebrows furrowed at the sight. ( Y/N ) didn't recognize where she was, she started to panic but before she could do anything the door opened up. Chip jumped frightfully as he quickly scattered to the table and transformed into his phone disguise.

" Who are you and where am I?" ( Y/N ) asked immediately, as soon as the Nurse's eyes met hers. The Nurse tilted her head in confusion, "I don't speak English. I'll go and let the Doctor know that you're awake." The Nurse said in Japanese. She left as soon as she finished speaking, ( Y/N ) was baffled, the lady spoke to her in Japanese.

Soon the nurse returned with a black-haired man and her eyes trailed to the next person, her whole eyes widened when she saw his red, feathered wings. ' So I didn't imagine seeing red wings ' she thought.

 Detective Tsukauchi studied the girl on the bed, she looked tired but thanks to the doctors she was okay. She was bandaged up but luckily it was something that a healing quirk could fix. She looked nervous and what really made him more curious was her surprised expression on the hawk hero, which made him a bit suspicious of the foreign stranger.

He pulled a seat and sat next to her bed, he was informed that she couldn't understand but fortunately, he could speak English as he encountered heroes from other countries or other situations that required him to speak the language, " Hello mam, I am detective Naomasa Tsukauchi and beside me is Hawk, a pro hero that rescued you " he calmly explained as ( Y/N ) looked relieved that she could talk to him in English, hawk understood some of the basic which were enought to pick up bits of the conversation.

" I received results from the Forensics team about your DNA and data on your fingerprint" Tsukauchi calmly explained. " You're not in any of our systems. We cross-referenced with the Koreans, Russians, and Americans while we were at it since you don't look Japanese." She looked as if she was an English or American person due to some of her facial features.

He read the reports earlier, that the girl's injuries were quite extensive. She had multiple old, nasty-looking scars over her upper chest and collarbone, it stuck out even more when compared to her skin. It didn't look like it was caused by an accident. 

That gaping hole in her side. From what he heard from the nurses, the girl's vital organs were hit by whatever caused it. They mentioned whenever the girl was being scanned or x-rayed, all of the machines began glitching until they stopped when the girl was out of the room.

The girl looked nervous but not enough for Tsukauchi to deduce that she was a villain of some sort. He thought that she was trafficked for quirk experimentation but her reaction to the concept of quirk quickly ruled out that option.

( Y/N ) looked nervously at the detective, she pondered on what to say, she didn't want to tell them about the Autobots since her distrust for the government had grown ever since they began hunting down her friends and allies. " I can't remember much besides waking up, and that's pretty much it " she loosely told the truth, feeling nervous about the eyes staring at her.

Tsukauchi looked at Hawks and he nodded, he got the impression maybe she would open more to him than having a hero loom over the conversation. Seeing the wing hero, leave, the Japanese detective looked at the girl, seeing her curious about the hero and, more importantly, the wings. 

After seeing her reaction, Tsukauchi suddenly had an impossible thought but yet it had formed around his mind. " That's Hawks, one of the rising pro heroes, he's the one who carried you to the hospital " he explained, watching the girl's reaction.

" What's your name? " he asked which soon led to a bunch of the typical questions of age, family though that one was a bit of a blur. He could sense that she was dodging some of the questions or not adding much detail to her answers, he had to be patient so that she could trust him enough to reveal more info. Tsukauchi asked the final question,

" You know what a quirk is? " the million-dollar question was asked.

There was silence, and that's all the answer that the detective needed, he sighed wondering how to approach the next part of the conversation. He rarely dealt with cases where a child or person was sheltered from the ideas of heroes or powers, most cases were either kidnappings or abuse. 

Soon he began explaining what quirks were and the hero society, then asking more questions but he noticed the phone on the table. It looked old and the design was weird compared to what the elderly used. He swore that it moved in his hand, and he noticed how the girl looked more nervous which sparked further suspicion about her, a young teen who doesn't know what a quirk is and a phone that shouldn't even exist.

At this point he didn't know what to do, this girl was a complete mystery and she mastered avoiding questions ( thanks to the interrogations from the KSI and Sector Seven ) but he could tell that she was confused and scared which made him feel kinda bad for overwhelming her with the questions. While ( Y/N ) was having an internal crisis mode, she remembered her death and seeing the Autobots and her friends cry over her but everything else was a blur.

She was stuck in Japan and not the Japan she knew, and there were people who had powers which the detective explained. The worst thing that she had no idea if the Autobots were okay, they're were endless situations that she thought of.

Thinking rationally, the detective was the person she trusted since arriving in this new world, she didn't have a choice. 

Soon days blended into months, which ( Y/N ) was learning and picking up on speaking and writing Japanese and after finding out that she didn't have a home, Tsukauchi pretty much took care of her.  The hawk hero which she learned the name was Takami Keigo he was a chill guy to be around, he visited occasionally when she was stuck in the hospital.

He gave her the spare room in his home and applied her to school which she was around the age to attend, during the times when the ( h/c ) girl was observed in the hospital, she realized that the Japanese detective was a decent guy and they slowly got along to the point where he offered a room for her to live in.

Soon unknown to ( Y/N ), people noticed strange events happening in the city, unauthorized jets being sighted around the city, the system being hacked by an unknown person or force and the strangest thing of all was blurry pictures of giant figures wandering around secretly, people speculated that it was a person quirk but they never notice the symbols on the giant beings, ones that ( Y/N ) would bring either hope or dread.

i've finally been writing in this fic once again, im sorry that you guys had to wait for this book to update. i haven't given up on writing, i've been busy and lost the inspiration to write for a while but now i'll try to write more even though we're halfway through 2024

i tried writing this chapter but i'm not super proud of how i wrote it :( i was trying to move past the '  finding out you're in a different world ' part but hopefully i'll start writing the main plot soon

i'll start writing more but expect long updates, sorry for this but hopefully, i'll get back to the writing mood for all my fics and this one
