When Primrose finally came around from her forced slumber, she really wished she hadn't. Instead of being on Berhert fixing their ship and hanging out with Groot, the Quill woman was tied to a chair on a Ravager ship. Hundreds of Ravagers, both familiar and unrecognizable, filled the large hangar of the ship. They screamed and laughed as they celebrated the capture of three out of the six Guardians. But what really broke Primrose's heart was the sight of a man taunting Groot, who was trapped in what appeared to be a hanging birdcage.
"This is mutiny! This is mutiny!" a familiar voice shouted, causing Primrose to turn her attention towards the source of the sound to find Tullk being dragged across the room by two other Ravagers, "this is mutiny!"
The Quill woman's heart stopped when she saw the two Ravagers drop him into the airlock and close the door. Tullk stayed on the floor for only a moment before struggling to his feet and turning to face the door. He pounded on the glass in front of him as the treacherous Ravagers mocked him. It wasn't long after that when someone pressed the airlock door, sending Tullk into the cold depths of space.
Primrose just stared at the airlock for a moment longer before her attention fell on the man sitting across from her. For the first time in her life, the Quill woman barely recognized Yondu. The former leader of the Ravagers was just staring at the ground with a defeated look in his eyes, ignoring his loyal followers' pleas for help. Even though the old Yondu terrified her more than she'd like to admit, Primrose would do anything to get him back. Because with this new Yondu, none of them were going to survive.
It wasn't long after that when the man that started it all made his way over to Yondu before stopping a foot away from him. "You're the one what killed those men by leading them down the wrong path. Because you're weak." The man paused and punched the former leader of the Ravagers across the face, causing Primrose to cringe. "And stupid!"
Despite wanting to shout out at the man in front of her after watching him punch Yondu again, Primrose stayed silent. Instead, the Quill woman used her eyes to scan over the cheering crowd until her eyes landed on one single man staying silent. She really wished she could say she wasn't surprised to see Kraglin staying quiet amongst the obnoxiously loud crowd, but she was. Especially after what he said to Yondu back on Berhert. Whether he was having second thoughts, she didn't know. At least that was until Kraglin looked over at her with regret and sorrow in his eyes.
"It's time for the Ravagers to rise once again to glory with a new captain!" the man who started it all shouted, drawing all attention back to him before he threw his arms up in the air, "Taserface!"
Cheers erupted from the crowd once again as soon as the man finished speaking. That caused all the negative emotions Primrose was feeling to triple and chills to run up her spine. However, all of her fears seemed to vanish when a familiar laugh cut through the air. The Quill woman's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she turned toward the source of the sound to find Rocket tied to another chair while laughing his head off. As his laughter got louder, the cheering grew quieter before Primrose realized everyone was now staring at the hysterical raccoon.
"I'm sorry. Your name it's...it's Taserface?" Rocket asked while staring up at the man in front of him after managing to calm himself down.
"That's right."
"Do you shoot tasers out of your face?"
"It's metaphorical!" Taserface shouted, causing his followers to erupt into cheers once again.
"For what?"
The man hesitated for a moment as he stared down at the creature asking him far too many questions. That continued for a moment longer before Taserface began speaking again. "For it is a name what strikes fear into the hearts of anyone what hears it!"
Primrose did her best not to laugh when the crowd just stared at their new leader with unimpressed looks on their faces. It wasn't long after that when some of them began nodding and going along with what Taserface said. In all honesty, the Quill woman thought they were going along with it so they didn't get sent out of the airlock.
"Okay, whatever you say," Rocket said in an unconvinced tone before cracking up once again. His actions made Primrose internally sigh, knowing nothing good could come out of the raccoon's mouth. "I'm sorry. I am so sorry! I just keep imagining you waking up in the morning, sir, looking in the mirror and then in all seriousness saying to yourself, 'You know what would be a really kick-*ss name? Taserface!'"
The Ravagers instantly erupted into laughter as soon as Rocket finished speaking. As they unintentionally mocked their new leader, an annoyed look formed on Taserface's face, making a smirk appear on Primrose's lips. However, the Quill woman's joy instantly faded when Taserface pounced at Rocket and placed a dagger against the creature's neck. "New plan. We're killing you first."
"Well, dying is certainly better than having to live an entire life as a moronic sh*tb*g who thinks Taserface is a cool name," Rocket responded, causing the annoyance on the man in question's face to quadruple.
"Enough, Rocket," Primrose said, surprising everyone including herself before she looked over at Taserface and continued speaking, "he's not worth your breath."
"She's right. That's enough killing for today," a familiar voice said, causing the Quill woman's body to tense as she turned to find Nebula walking toward them.
Taserface just watched the Luphomoid woman for a moment then opened his mouth to speak. "I thought you were the biggest sadist in the galaxy."
"That was when Daddy was paying my bills," Nebula responded before stopping right next to the cage that held Groot, "the Priestess wants to kill the fox and the girl herself. And your former leader has bounties on his head in at least twelve Kree provinces."
Anger quickly took the place of the annoyance in Taserface's eyes as he took a few steps toward the Luphomoid woman, only to stop in his tracks when her voice filled the air once again. "I assure you, I am not as easy a mark as an old man without his magic stick or a talking woodland beast. I want 10% of the take...and a couple more things."
Chills ran up and down Primrose's spine after listening to the conversation between the two people that got her stuck in her current situation. It didn't help that Nebula looked over at her with an unreadable expression on her face. It wasn't long after that when the Luphomoid woman followed Kraglin out of the room.

Unlike Rocket, Primrose didn't put up a fight when she was finally unchained from the chair beneath her. She kept her eyes glued to the floor as two Ravagers forced her to walk through the halls of the Eclector. The raccoon's shouts cut through the air, but the brunette woman didn't listen. Her mind was too preoccupied with a question that had been bouncing around in her head since she arrived on the ship she used to call home. Was this the universe's revenge for her fight with Peter?
It wasn't long after that when Primrose's thoughts were cut short by a loud screeching sound. She looked up just in time to see Rocket and Yondu getting thrown into a cell, causing them to land in two heaps on the floor. The Quill woman just stared at them for a moment, completely unaware of the Ravagers releasing their grasps around her arms. Before another full thought could go through the brunette woman's head, she was shoved into the cell. Primrose stumbled a bit but managed to stay on her feet just as the cell door was slammed shut behind her.
"We deliver you to the Kree in the morning," Taserface's voice cut through the air, causing Primrose to turn around and face him while Rocket and Yondu looked up at him from their spots on the floor, "none of you will last much longer after that."
"Okay, Taserface," Rocket said after getting to his feet and going to stand by the Quill woman, "hey, tell the other guys we said 'hi,' Taserface!"
Primrose did her best to suppress a sigh as she listened to the Ravagers. As soon as there was nothing but silence that surrounded them, the brunette woman looked down at the raccoon. "What are you trying to accomplish?"
"I'm just trying to have a little fun," Rocket responded with a shrug before turning around to face Yondu, "no offense, but your employees are a bunch of jerks."
"I could've told you that," Primrose scoffed while crossing her arms over her chest and leaning against the wall behind her, "I did live with most of them for twenty-six years."
When the Quill woman finally forced herself to look over at Yondu, she found him staring at the floor with no emotion in his eyes. Despite wanting to yell and scream at the man who was the source of all her problems, Primrose couldn't bring herself to. She had never seen the former leader of the Ravagers look so defeated. It was like there was no fight left within him, which was something the youngest Quill never thought she would see. Then something happened that Primrose never expected. She began to feel sorry for the man who stole her from her home and forced her to live a life that wasn't intended for her.
Another long silent moment passed between the three prisoners before it was finally broken by Yondu, who was still staring down at the metal floor beneath him. "I was a Kree battle slave for twenty years when Stakar freed me. He offered me a place with the Ravagers. He said all I needed to do was adhere to the code. But I was young...and greedy, and stupid. Like you stealing those batteries."
"That was mostly Drax," Rocket responded from his place against the wall across from Yondu, earning a not-so-gentle kick in the leg from Primrose.
"Me and Stakar and the other captains...we weren't so different from you two and your friends. The only family I ever had," the Centurion man continued before subtly glancing up at Primrose, who somehow managed to miss the look he was sending her, "when I broke the code...they exiled me. This is what I deserve."
"Slow down, drama queen. You might deserve this but we don't," Rocket said as he got to his feet and took a few steps toward Yondu. While he did that, the Quill woman continued to stare at the former leader of the Ravagers with skepticism in her eyes. "We gotta get outta here."
Silence surrounded them once again as the raccoon began to look around the room they were trapped in. It wasn't long after that when Yondu's gaze shifted back to Primrose, who still had her eyes on the Centurion man. "Where's Quill?"
"He left with his so-called father," the brunette woman told him with a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"Ego?" Yondu questioned, only to receive a small nod in response before he continued speaking, "why didn't you go with him?"
"They got into a pretty big fight before he left," Rocket answered for the Quill woman, earning a sharp glare that he chose to ignore, "why didn't you deliver Quill to Ego like you promised?"
"He was skinny. Could fit into the places we couldn't. Good for thievin'," the former leader of the Ravagers responded, making all the anger return to her body and make her blood boil.
"Can you let that lie go already?" Primrose scoffed, drawing both of their attention to her as she continued to glare down at Yondu, "I was smaller than Peter by far and still am. If you wanted someone to fit somewhere you couldn't, you would've used me."
"Are you saying you wanted to be a thief?" the Centurion man retaliated with a look in his eyes that the Quill woman couldn't decipher.
"I'm saying that I'm tired of your lies! All you do is lie!" she snapped, causing Rocket to stare up at the unusually calm woman in shock while Yondu remained unphased, "but the lie that continues to drive me crazy is that you meant to take me with Peter when you clearly didn't want me around!"
An uncomfortable silence settled among them as Primrose and Yondu continued to stare at each other. The tension soon became too much for Rocket, who walked further into their cell to try to find a means of escape. After sending one last glare toward the Centurion man, Primrose broke eye contact with him and looked down at the metal beneath her feet. It wasn't long after that when the former leader of the Ravagers chose to break the silence once again.
"That isn't a lie, Rose," Yondu said in a tone just above a whisper, causing the woman in question to look back up before he continued speaking, "we went to Terra for Peter and you."
"Then why did you treat me like an outsider?"
Primrose instantly saw the hesitation in Yondu's eyes as he thought over his next words. It was as if he was trying to determine if they were worth saying or if they would mean anything. But after staring at the woman in front of him and spotting all the similarities she shared with someone from his past, the Centurion man decided to reveal the secret he spent twenty-six years protecting.
"Because your father wanted more for you than a life as a Ravager."
