"Guess this is it then." Milo hummed while turning to me. I glanced at him over my shoulder, I slowly nod.

"Guess so." I say while shrugging. "It was nice having some company though. I wouldn't have been able to do this alone, so I appreciate it."

Milo hums in reply once more. "yeah. I'm glad to have had some company too. after this though? I'm going home and I'm going to get some SLEEP." he shouted the last part, not caring if anyone heard.

Reckless ass.

A chuckle escapes me, "that's cool. I won't be working anymore after this. I'll probably go find somewhere else to work at– maybe a café. you?" I ask him.

"Dunno. but what I do know is I gotta focus more on my little sister than whatever this is. she needs me..I'm the only one taking care of her after all." Milo sighs, oh– I never realized.

"So you're the only person watching her? no parents or anything like that?" I ask. he shakes his head in reply.

"Nope. they both died. car crash." Milo says bluntly while tucking some hair behind his ear and shifting his feet a little. "I'm ready to get out of here though..I'm tired."

I nod I'm agreement, "I am too. finally we don't have to worry about anything else. and Gregory will be in a good place." I continue.

Milo felt a small smile tug at his lips. "It was nice working with you, [name]. really– to say I was able to laugh while not having any worry in the world but just Monty attacking me? makes me feel special. really does. I also can't wait to graduate soon. class of 2021." he chuckles.

I felt my eyes widen, "you're graduating!? so am I! what college do you plan to head to?" I asked.

"LSU. I'm thinking about majoring in computer science but I also want to major In mechanics." Milo says and I nod, "I'm heading to NJS." I smile.

Milo chuckles, "that's kinda far? I mean, all the way up to new Jersey?" he sighs. "It's crazy that we went through all this. but after this though? we're going our separate ways."

Milo extends his good hand to me and I take it, shaking it gently. "It was nice meeting you, [name]."

"And it was nice meeting you, milo." I say while shaking his hand with a smile, staring into his eyes with longing. but this was just temporarily when he soon vanished away.

I then wrapped my arms around him and hugged him, he hugs me back. "Come on you two!" Gregory shouts in annoyance.

"We're coming!" Milo shouts back. he then turns back to me, "so– ready?" he asks.

I stared back at the entrance of the pizzaplex before turning back to him. "Yeah. let's finish this last task then we're done."
