...𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐎 is currently packing her stuff for her new journey outside of gensokyo, her being excited was an understatement as she was packing in a rush, basically just shoving her stuff into two big bags. Stuffing everything she needed, such as spell books, ingredients, potion bottles. And more, Hoshino was just too excited.

Marisa Kirisame. Known as the black magician and Hoshino's beloved little sister. Was just a few feet behind her looking at her sister with concern covering her features as she wasn't sure about her decision of leaving, but then again it was always her dream to travel outside her home, out of gensokyo. But nonetheless she was still concerned for her well being.

"Nee-san? You sure about this? I'm kinda worried this might not be a good idea for you ze..." Marisa scratched the back of her head nervously looking down on the side, she didn't wanted to ruin her chances of chasing her dream but she had a feeling that something bad might happen to her.

Hoshino looked up from the drawer she was going through and turned to look at her little sister. Titling her head a bit. "Of course I'm positive! You don't get a chance like this, like ever! I know you're concerned and all but there's nothing to fear ya know? I'm your big sister after all ze! It's not like I'll let anything hurt me on the way!" Hoshino replied and walked up to her big bag and shoved a bunch of herbs and spices in her bag.

"I mean, yeah, but it's..." Marisa was cut off when a finger was pressed against her lips shutting her up completely, and looked at her, as hoshino was easily looming over her due to their height difference.

"Mari, I know you're worried but trust me on this I'm your big sister after all, I can handle whatever throws my way outside of gensokyo." She stated, smiling brightly at her younger sister.

Marisa then suddenly hugged Hoshi tightly in an embrace, to which caught her a bit by surprise but hugs her back quickly, engulfing each other in a tight embrace taking in the moment with one another.

Both of them eventually pulled away, Hoshino then places both hands on Marisa's shoulders giving her a reassuring look. "Don't worry mari-chan, I'll be sure to send you some updates about my travels, and if you ever want updates..." Hoshi paused and took something out her dress and places it on her palms, marisa opens her palms, revealing a small bright blue orb with a note on the side. "...Just try and use on this, there's already instructions on the paper on how you turn it on and turn off if needed." Hoshi finished, placing both her hands behind her back, smiling cheekily.

Marisa pulls it close to her chest to cherish it, smiling brightly at her older sister. "Awww! Thanks so much sis! I'll be sure to cherish it and call you on it along with your updates." She said, wiping a small tear from her eye.

Hoshino already had two bags on her hands, with the other one was in her back. "Come on! Let's go and see reimu and yukari now! They should be waiting at this moment and I've got no time to waste!"

With that, the two girls left her house to the awaiting duo outside.

"We trust you that you can handle going on this journey alone now, correct hoshi-san?" Asked yukari, all four were now outside in the forest of magic, just in front of their houses.

Hoshino eagerly nodded her head excited. "Mhmm! You all can count on me with this!" She replied in a cheerful tone, her body practically shaking with excitement, which to the sought concern of her younger twin sister Marisa. Who had to pat her back to calm her down and telling her she had to tone down, to which she eventually did of course.

Reimu Hakurei, the shrine maiden and protect and incident solver of gensokyo, and the one who created the barrier to separate their home from the outside world, who was standing beside yukari, cleared her throat. Catching their attention before speaking up. "This is serious hoshino, it's been so long since a native from gensokyo is willing to leave their peaceful lives, and rarely natives leave this place. And just to travel on your own, as much as I'm not a fan of you and I understand why you want to leave, I have to agree with yukari that this might a dangerous thing to do." She responded, looking at hoshino with a serious look on her expression.

"I'll be fine reimu-chan! After all, I am one of the strongest magicians around here you know and I worked way too hard for this." Hoshino replied, giving reimu a small wink, which made the latter roll her eyes at her small display of immaturity.

Yukari smiled softly and shook her head gently. "You should be careful Hoshi-chan. This is a dangerous one after all, so if you ever face real danger and at a risk. You are free to go all out and defy the spell card rule, it probably wouldn't apply in other worlds, after all..." Yukari stated, her voice was soft but firm about her words. Showing she was serious about this, and it made hoshino nervous, but it didn't made her less motivated. "It's not too late to change your mind." She added.

"No, I've made it this far now! And I'm not gonna just back down." Hoshino told them with a scoff, she then laid her hands on her hips with a pout. "I can handle it, I know it!" She declared at the trio.

They looked at each other other for a moment, then turned back to her, with yukari the one stepping forward to her. Placing her hand on her shoulder. "Safe travels then, dear. Do be careful once more." She told her.

Hoshino smiled at the thoughtful gesture. "I will. Yukari-san, you can count on me!" Hoshino told her with a saluting poseture. Yukari chuckled and took a few steps back. She then lifted her hand and opened up a gap portal for hoshino.

The gap looked like a huge tear was made into the air. With red ribbons decorating the top and bottom of the gaps. Inside of it was completely purple and red eyes were scattered around it, all looking at the four of them. Hoshino took a step towards it. Marisa then suddenly gave hoshino one more hug from behind, catching her by surprise.

"Be safe out there nee-san, I'm gonna miss you so much without you around here." Marisa told her, as her hands clung tightly on her sleeves of her clothes. Hoshino sighed and pats her hand gently that held her. "Like I said many times, I'll be okay. I need to go now.." Marisa reluctantly let go and hoshino grabbed her bags and approached the portal until she was right in front of it. then turning to reimu.

"You got anything to say before I go?" Hoshino asked. Remui sighed as she shrugged her shoulders. "Well, even though you're kind of annoying, especially when you're around her." She gestured towards Marisa. "But you're an overall nice and a generally a kind hearted person. And I'll kinda miss you too." Hoshino chuckled at her words.

"Bye everyone! Make sure everyone knows of my leave!" Hoshino told them as she stepped into the portal and waved goodbye at them as it slowly shuts down.

"Remember, choose carefully as well. And don't worry about the rules as mentioned earlier." Yukari told her with a wave, along with the other two.

Hoshino gave them one last smile of joy and happiness before it finally shuts close. Now completely gone away from gensokyo...
