━Chapter one━
THE KASHIMAS

"A pleasure to meet you again. I am Saikawa, the chairwoman's secretary. Please, follow me" Saikawa greeted them as soon the two left the office.

"Y-Yes sir!"

"Shaggy..." Kotaro points to the door commenting about the chairwoman hair that reminded him of a sheep making Ryuuichi scold him gently.

'I didn't get to thank her... does she do not want us here?' Thought Ryuuichi staring at the door with a small frown on his face.

"Ryuuichi-sama, Kotaro-sama. I am unable to drive you there, so please climb on my back" Saikawa stated and squat down to give them a piggyback ride making Ryuuichi taken aback at his words and action.

"That was a joke." Said Saikawa.

Saikawa leads Ryuuichi and Kotaro to the babysitter room while talking, he learned that the chairwoman doesn't have any grandchildren and her late son and daughter-in-law died in the airplane accident just the same as Kashima's parents.

"Uum, so.. what did she mean by a babysitter, exactly?" Ask Ryuuichi to the butler, they both arrived at their destination. On the sliding door was written 'Morinomiya daycare' neatly with stickers next to the sign.

"This. You have been entrusted with the task of looking after the children of the school's employees. We created this facility to assist the female teachers here, but due to insufficient funding, it's been short-handed.

Thus to gain the aid of the school's student, the chairwoman's son and daughter-in-law attempted to form a babysitter club but we only got one volunteer and she resigned from her club to this babysitter club, and unfortunately, they failed to gather enough students" replied Saikawa to Ryuuichi.

"So the chairwoman called us to start that club?"

"Yes, I'm sorry for the imposition."

"No, as the second member of the babysitter club, I'll do everything I can! Please tell the chairwoman that I'm grateful to her for inviting us here" Ryuuichi said with determination, his face has a slight red streak of blush.

The chairwoman secretary suddenly looks away with his handkerchief as he dabbed it to the corner of his eyes.

"Excuse me, the nobility of your statement has moved me to tears," he says putting on his glasses back after putting away his handkerchief.

They chit chat for awhile and eventually Saikawa leave and wishes him a good luck.

Ryuuichi then opened the sliding door, "Hello may I come in?" He asked as the kids stops playing, staring at the strangers.

"We'd like to be your friends starting today," he said with happy tone, "Where's your caregiver?" He asked.

Instead of getting a reply the kids ran towards the pink-haired sleeping figure. The dark-haired kid pulls the pink-haired ear "It's him!" earning a yelped of pain from the man.

"Ow, ow, ow, jeez Taka what are you doing?" He said, sitting up "I was having such a nice dream..."

"I'm sorry I'm the one who had him wake you up, we're supposed to be here today as-" the pink-haired smiles and wave his hand stopping the babbling teen.

"Oh I heard about you, you're the new member of the babysitter club, Ryunosuke-Kun, and Torakichi-kun, right?"

"It's Ryuuichi and Kotaro," Ryuuichi corrected.

"Right, right. Those were the names, I'm Usaida Yoshihito. I'm a graduate of this school and the other daycare staff member, nice to meet you" introduce Usaida to the new members, holding out his hand to shake while his other hand carrying the pink-haired baby.

"I-it's a pleasure to meet you too." Ryuuichi said accepting the hand, shaking it.

"You're a real lifesaver though. I have to look after the baby since I made Mitsuki to stop join the club activities for awhile so I have a hard time looking after the kids too."

'It looked like you were just sleeping to me...' Ryuuichi sweat dropped.

"I heard there was another member," Ryuuichi said with curiosity.

"Yeah, Kanzaki Mitsuki she's the first student member though she's been missing classes I'm banning her from joining club activities for awhile till she gets her grades back up." Usaida explains as he starts having small flashbacks when he told the girl about him banning her from the club from the other side of locked sliding doors and waving her off with the baby's hand shooing her away

"Usaida!" The kids ran behind Usaida, clutching his pants as they stare at the stranger with a slight excitement.

"Yes? What is it?" Usaisa replied looking at them.

"Can we play with these guys?" the small dark haired kid asked.

Usaida smiles then told them that he can't play with them yet since the kids haven't introduce themself. The kids started shout their names however Ryuuichi didn't catch any of them so Usaida announces that they should do the naming train.

They ran and lined up with a grin, "Here comes the naming train, Choo-Choo!"

"Kamitani Taka-kun!"

"Here!" Shouts the spiky dark haired kid that the Kashima's learn named Taka.

"Kumatsuka Kirin-chan!"

"Here!" Shouts Kirin, Kirin have her green hair up in pigtails she holds a giraffe plushie.

"Mamizuka Takuma-kun!"

"Here!" Takuma, A boy with unkept blond hair with a big smile cheered.

"Mamizuka Kazuma-kun!"

"H-here..." replied Kazuma who shares the same face as his twin, same blonde unkept hair but the opposite of Takuma, Kazuma have watery eyes instead of a big smile.

"Sawatari Midori-chan!"

"Ahh!" Shouts The baby girl that Usaida holding.

"Good. All the children of the daycare room...ARE DOING GREAT!" They shouts as they finished the naming train.

"Thank you," Ryuuichi thanked them with a smile. "My name is Kashima Ryuuichi, nice to meet you all."

"Come on Kotaro say hello" He placed Kotaro down to his feet, Taka runs towards Kotaro and points his sword toy at him.

"Okay, you'll be the monster! The monster minigon has appeared!" Shouts Taka, Ryuuichi went pale as he imagines what will happen if he let them play or worse attack his little brother.

"W-wait can I play instead? I really like to play as a monster roar!" Ryuuichi offer, he roars to imitating the monster.

There was a small pause until they decided to lunge forward to attack Ryuuichi.

Kotaro stays back watching his older brother got tackled down.

Kotaro clenched his tiny fist and runs toward them only to get thrown back he tried again but only got thrown back again.

"Kotaro ju-just stay there!" Ryuuichi coughed "I give up! I give up!" Between the hits by the small rangers.

Kotaro walks toward the kids' books, he struggles at the heaviness making him fell down to his butt, he scan the book 'Ururun panda-chan.'

Kotaro looks back at his older brother who's still getting attacked by the kids.

"Don't you want to get your big brother back, Kotaro-kun?" Kotaro answer with a little nod, Usaida looks at him and ask Kotaro if he wants him to read the book for him instead since Ryuuichi is busy being tackled and attacked.

After a couple of hours, Usaida walks to the still beaten up Ryuuichi and calls him attention to get his attention.

"Sorry to interrupt the fun, but it's time for the end of my shift," Usaida said.

"The old chairwoman is real stingy so I don't get paid for overtime and Mitsuki-chan is still banned but now that you're here, anyway the teachers should be coming to get them soon, here" he said handing the baby to Ryuuichi carefully since she's asleep.

"Or do you think you can't handle it alone?" ask Usaida to make sure if he's going to be fine or not.

"I-I'll be fine, I've taken care of babies before," Ryuuichi said that made Usaida surprised with his reply.

He thinks Ryuuichi would beg him to not leave him and his brother alone with these tiny little devils.

"O-oh really? Then I really will go are you sure?" He asks again but Ryuuichi answer with a determined yes.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course!" He answers again, then Usaida left 'i would've stayed if you'd asked...' and he left.

"Those brothers are too much alike"

Meanwhile in a class.

"KANZAKI-SAN! WAKE UP!"

A blonde haired girl sat up slowly with her eyes closed having her hands gather in a praying way and finished her prayer.

"Im sorry sensei, I forgot to do my usual prayers before the class starts." She told the teacher with a smile.

"O-Oh that's alright, make sure to do it before class starts alright?" The teacher says before walking back to the board while students sniffles their laughs.

Mitsuki turned to her boyfriend with a wink, her boyfriend. Kamitani Hayato who looks amused by her antics, he have been watching her sleeping and moving her head around to find herself a comfortable position.

"Focus sleepyhead" Hayato mouthed to her which she huffed and flip her hair and went back to write down notes as the teacher continue his lessons.

There were a lot of little problems but Ryuuichi handles them just fine and gently. Out of nowhere he hears a small sneeze coming from Kotaro "Kotaro are you okay?" He asked.

Kotaro replies with a small little nod as if he's saying he's fine so his older brother. Time passed three older women went inside the babysitter room to pick up their kids.

"Good evening" the kids immediately run towards their mom "MAMA!"

Taka was still playing with his sword toy since no one hasn't picked him up yet.

"You'd come to pick them up?" He asks, Kirin's mom was shocked to know that there's someone besides the lazy pink haired guy and the cheerful girl.

"Oh? Who are you?" she asks the teen that she have never seen before, Kirin then answer her mom's question "That's Ryu-niichama!"

Ryuuichi quickly introduce himself to his future teachers. "Nice to meet you, I'm Kashima Ryuuichi. I'm in the babysitter club starting today"

"Oh, I see!"

"The chairwoman mentioned it to us."

"I'm Kirin's mother, Kumatsuka Yayoi." She introduces herself, Kumatsuka Yayoi have a long dark green haired that Kirin inherited.

"I'm Midori's mother, Sawatari Yukari." Midori's mom a soft and kind feature and have the same hair colour with Midori.

"I'm Takuma and Kazuma's mother, Mamizuka Umi!" The twins mom have a long blonde hair with smile eyes, Takuma really takes after her.

"A pleasure to meet you all!" Ryuuichi replied, he then points at his little brother in the corner of the room "That's my little brother, Kotaro."

The mothers expressed how glad that their kids are going to have a new friend from now on.

Mamizuka Umi waves hello to Kotaro with her closed eye smile, Kumatsuka Yayoi smiles "It's nice for them to have a new friend."

Sawatari Yukari looks around noticing the missing person, "Where's Mitsuki-chan?"

Ryuuichi sweat dropped and explained to them, "Usaida-san mentioned that Kanzaki-san is currently banned from coming for club activities for awhile because she's falling behind her classes."

"Oh she must have been quite stressed if Usaida banned her from coming here" Umi expressed.

"I'm looking forward to you in the future!" they said as they all got their kids and went home after saying 'see you tomorrow.'

Ryuuichi walks back inside the room and a bit surprised when he realized that Taka's mother hasn't shown up and pick him, before he could say anything the door was slammed open revealing two people one guy one and one girl

"TAKA! It's time to go!" Speak of the devil.

"Oh my god can you not Hayato-chan? Don't shout my ears might burst if you shout next to my ear" Mitsuki grumbles rubbing her ear.

"That's what you get when you fell asleep in class, idiot" the female student replies with a glare which the male gave her back with a glare.

Ryuuichi panicked they look like they're about to fight. The blonde then looks away huffing, her eyes meets brown eyes.

"You're not Usaida." She spoke, staring at Ryuuichi.

"Who are you?" The male suddenly asked while looking at him with a stern and sharp look, his stares intimidate Ryuuichi.

"I-I'm the new member here, Kashima Ryuuichi. Middle school, a third year." Ryuuichi introduce himself.

"I'm Kamitani Hayato and this is Kanzaki Mitsuki she's one of the member here and same grade" Hayato said.

"Ooh so you're the new member, nice to meet you I'm Kanzaki Mitsuki." Introduce Mitsuko with a grin. "I'm sorry I can't help your first time with the daycare Mr.Pinkie banned me from club activities."

"N-nice to meet you both too! Its quite alright" Ryuuichi stutters under Hayato's gaze.

'Waah! He's really intimidating! The girl is very a complete opposite of him!' Ryuuichi yelled in his thought.

"Mom's still grading papers, so me and the idiot taking him home." Hayato added.

"Nii-Chan! Mi-Chan! I'm not goin' home yet!" Yelled Taka while clutching Ryuuichi's pants standing behind him, Hayato glares Taka Mitsuki laugh nervously.

"I told you, we're going!" Shout the older Kamitani to the younger Kamitani in the background Mitsuki tried to stop the fight but it didn't work.

"No! No! No! I'm gonna play with Ryu some more!" Then a fist flys and hits Taka's head making Ryuuichi and Mitsuki eyes widened even though Mitsuki has seen Hayato hit Taka many times she still surprised at action.

"No throwing tantrums" Taka then burst into tears Mitsuki delivers a slap to Hayato's head very hard before she cradled Taka who's crying.

"There there, Taka don't worry Nee-Chan just beat him if it still hurts I'll beat him again later!" assured Mitsuki while Hayato rubs his head as a bump starts to appear.

Mitsuki looks a bit far from behind Ryuuichi noticing there's another toddler with light green hair. "Hey is that your little brother? What was it that Usaida said? Torakichi?"

Ryuuichi looks at Kotaro who still reading the book "it's Kotaro. "

"Oops I got it wrong, that's a nice name" compliment Mitsuki. "Like a tiger."

"Oi Kashima, Mine's handled. You should pay attention to your own" Hayato said, he looks at Kotaro making Ryuuichi looks at him too "he looks lonely all by himself."

"Right" Ryuuichi nodded, he looks at the Kamitanis and the Kanzaki.

"See you again Kashima."

"See you tomorrow Kashima-kun!" The three of them walks out of the daycare room with Taka who is still sobbing on Mitsuki shoulder.

"Hayato-chan you shouldn't hit that hard you'll damage Taka-kun's brain, you should hit that guy from your club he's been following me around again."

"I'll take care of it tomorrow" Hayato said taking Mitsuki's hand and hold it in his hand. Ryuuichi turn red when he caught the gesture, he quickly went inside the daycare finally can spend a time with his little brother.

"Kotaro, sorry about this, do you want me to read that book to you now? Kota─" before Ryuuichi hand could land to Kotaro head, Kotaro's body fell forward landing onto Ryuuichi lap.

Meanwhile Hayato, Mitsuki and Taka was about to reach the front gate until they hear someone yelling their names.

"KAMITANI! KANZAKI!" It was Ryuuichi with green hair being wrapped with his uniform blazer.

"Please show me to the closest hospital with a pediatrics ward?" He pant after running very quickly to catch up with Kamitani.

"Kotaro...My little brother got a fever!" He shouts, Hayato handed his school bag and blazer to Mitsuki who wobbles a bit with Taka in her arms.

"Take care Taka and my bag while I lead Kashima to the hospital, ok?" Mitsuki nodded.

"Take care!" Before Hayato left he pulled Mitsuki's cheek and sprints along with Kashima with his little brother in Kashima's arms.

Taka looks up to Mitsuki with a questioning face "what's wrong with Ryu's little brother?"

"Kotaro got a fever, maybe he was too overwhelmed by his new surrounding."

"Mi-Chan I'm hungry" Taka said suddenly.

"well I only have a bag of cookies in my bag you want it?"

"YES!"

Mitsuki walked to the school bench, she placed the bags and Taka down. She took her bag and pulls out the bag of cookies and hand it to the dark-haired kid.

An idea came to Mitsuki's mind, "Hey Taka can you bring your power rangers book, you should show it to Kotaro maybe he'll like it." She suggested, Taka then eagerly nodded excited to show his powr rangers book.

Mitsuki reads the book to the kids, they enjoyed it. Sometimes Mitsuki play with them as well, she hopes Usaida or Kashima will read to them.

Minutes later Hayato was back and the corner of his lip tugged up a bit because the sight where Mitsuki smiling warmly at his brother kinda makes him warm, he doesn't show his reaction he kept it inside.

Mitsuki noticed someone was staring at her and Taka knowing it's her boyfriend makes her smile bigger.

They went back home, their house are close, they're neighbors and some lucky fortune is their rooms are facing each other they even make a Tin Can telephone.

Hayato steps in front of the Kanzaki's house he looks at Mitsuki who is kissing Taka's cheek for a goodnight sleep, she gave Taka to Hayato and look at Hayato with a smile.

"Good night Hayato-chan!" she smiled, then Hayato grab her face, squeezed  her cheeks and kiss her nose.

"Night Mitsuki" he simply replied with a small smile, suddenly the door opens revealing a blonde haired male who looks just like Mitsuki.

"Oh, they're here!" He yelled.

"Hey Hayato! Taka!" The Kanzaki always accept the Kamitani's as their own family and more when they heard Hayato became Mitsuki's boyfriend, they have always been crazy about it even when they on a date they would sneak behind them and take a picture for their album photo but they got caught by Mitsuki who noticed someone looking at them.

"Hello Mr.Kanzaki, Mrs.Kanzaki Matsumi-san, Jun-san, Kazumi-san, and Shota-san," said Hayato while bowing his head, Taka's smiled sleepily and waved at them with a cute smile making them go in 'awe's.

"Well I should probably go Taka's going to sleep in any second he hasn't brushed his teeth see you later Mitsu-chan" He waved at everyone before leaving to get inside his house.

"Ok bye Yato-chan, Taka-chan! Night!" Waved Mitsuki to the Kamitani's which they waved back to. Mitsuki walks to the door then Jun flops his arm around his little sister shoulder.

"Must be lucky to have a guy like Hayato huh?" Tease Jun while wiggling his eyebrows which Matsumi laughed while hugging Shota.

Their parents laughed along and said "Dinner is ready! Let's eat now!" Before Mitsuki can plop her butt down her mom says "no, take a bath first."

"M'kay" she dragged her feet to the bathroom.

The next day, Inside the classroom of 3-C the teacher said they have a new transfer student which is Ryuuichi, he writes his name on the chalkboard fast.

"This is Kashima Ryuuichi-kun. He'll be joining our class starting today, Go ahead and introduce yourself" said the teacher to Ryuuichi with a smile, Ryuuichi got nervous.

"Um, n-nice to meet you!" Then spots Hayato and Mitsuki looking at him, Mitsuki gave him a reassuring smile, all his nervousness disappear instantly when he sees his friends.

"Uh, I'm Kashima Ryuuichi, I'm in the babysitter club. I'm eager to get to know all of you!" Ryuuichi bowed with a smile, the class started to comments about him joining the babysitter club.

"Babysitter club?"

"What's that?"

"What's with this guy?"

"Babysitter club isn't those jobs are for nannies?"

"That's so lame"

Mitsuki stood up and look around at the other students with a smile but she also glared at them.

"I think it's cool that he joined the babysitter club which I also in that club and please stop with comments, the chairwoman late son and daughter-in-law made that club to help the female teachers." glared Mitsuki making the whole class went silent.

Mitsuki always look cute and cheerful but if you piss her off, run as fast as you can.

'The sweet kitten can turn into a wild lioness' thought Ryuuichi scared that what happen if he pisses her off.

After the class on the first period, they went to the daycare and tell Usaida what happens while Ryuuichi and Hayato tells Usaida the story as Mitsuki plays with the kids with Usaida setting a timer.

"Mi-Neechama!"

"Mi-Chan!!"

Mitsuki got to see the kids for a couple of minutes only, they missed Mitsuki very much they even hug her that she fell to the ground with the kids on top of her hugging her.

"Hello little power rangers miss me that much huh?" she asks which the kids shout 'YES'.

The first period was finished they went back Mitsuki sadly wave them who sadly wave her back.

"I'll come again and I'll be smarter!" She said cupping her mouth while Hayato drags her back to class, before they left Ryuuichi ask if they are dating which made Mitsuki blushed hard while Hayato has his usual cold face and answered bluntly with "Yes."

Ryuuichi thought they look good together and more when he sees the other side of Mitsuki when she defends him and the late son and daughter-in-law of the chairwoman.

That day Ryuuichi did not start the day to study yet because the chairwoman said today he will help Usaida in the daycare so that day he helps the kids everything and make sure they doing well.
