NINE YEARS LATER...

TYPICAL RAINY DAY IN FORKS, WASHINGTON. Gloomy clouds casting shadows over the entire town, cold fog covering most of the area, and the sun was nowhere to be seen, even yesterday, or the day before that.

It has been nine glorious years since Bella and Edward had Renesmee, and Luna and Jasper had the twins, Serena and Jesse. Just like they had predicted, the twins had rapid growth just like Renesmee. In simply seven years after their birth, they have reached their full-grown and permanent figure.

Their maturity arrived quickly as well. By the time they were seven years old, they already have the minds and hearts of a teenager. They have kept the three in hiding from the citizens of Forks, for they plan to reveal them to the world once they finally have full maturity in order to avoid the obvious question: How did they grow up so fast?

The three have been going to high school for nearly two years now. Their cover story was that the Cullens adopted Renesmee, Jesse, and Serena when they were eight years old after they had suffered the tragic loss of their parents, which was news delivered by Dr. Carlisle Cullen after he did everything he could to save their parents. Bella and Edward adopted Renesmee while Jasper and Luna adopted the twins. Nine years later, they are now seventeen years old and are a junior in high school.

So far, everyone believed that story.

"Rena, did you fucking took my—" Jesse shouted as the blonde-haired Hale twin jogged down the stairs, immediately halting his words when the question he was about to ask has already been answered.

"Seriously?" Jesse asked.

Serena was sitting at the dining with her legs crossed as she wore her twin brother's shirt, pairing it with her high-waisted shorts and combat boots. The girl sat there with a smirk playing on her lips.

"I was going to wear that. That's why it was hanging outside the closet." Jesse said as he approached the dining table and sat between Serena and Renesmee.

"Oh no, you can't pull this off, Jess." Serena simply replied before taking another bite of her sandwich.

Jesse rolled his eyes before focusing his attention on the breakfast placed on the dining table before him. But of course, inheriting their mother's stubbornness, he didn't want to let Serena get the satisfaction of winning.

The older twin 'accidentally' spilled Serena's water, causing it to spill all over her shirt, or rather, Jesse's shirt. The raven-haired twin widened her eyes and gasped as she jumped up from her seat.

"Jesse, what the fuck!" Serena yelled as she looked down on her soaked shirt and shorts, immediately getting a towel hanging in the kitchen.

"Sorry, my hand slipped." Jesse smugly replied, a smirk similar to the one Serena was wearing earlier.

Serena, with her annoyed expression, stepped out of the kitchen with the towel clenched in her fist, looking at her twin brother in disbelief.

Jesse slowly stood up from his seat with still his smirk on as he faced the furious Serena, preparing himself for yet another interesting fight.

"Here we go again." Renesmee muttered under her breath as she looked and moved away from the twins, sensing another messy fight to rise from them.

The last time the twins fought, they ended up paralyzing themselves with Jackie's ability that they had copied. The twins developed the ability of Empathic Mimicry, which was basically replicating other people's abilities through the use of empathy.

Unlike their mom, the twins could copy abilities that are associated with their emotions, and also unlike their mom, they could only keep the copied ability as long as they are in close proximity with the source.

"You did that on purpose." Serena said with her deadly calm voice.

"No, I didn't." Jesse said, replacing his smirk with an innocent smile which drove Serena even crazier.

"Listen, Tweety Bird, I'm gonna give you five seconds to sprint out that door before I rip you to shreds." The younger twin warned.

Jesse couldn't help but grin amusingly at the raven-haired girl as he crossed his arms against his chest, taunting her even further.

"Aww, Daffy, ain't that cute?" Jesse taunted.

"You ass—" Serena snarled but before she could even finish the sentence, Jasper walked into the room.

"Finish that sentence and you're grounded." Jasper told his daughter before his wife walked in after him.

"Finish that sentence and your father's grounded." Luna chimed in with an amused smile on her face.

The dirty-blonde vampire earned a glare from her husband which she quickly aimed to replace with a loving look.

"I'm just kidding." Luna said before planting a quick kiss on Jasper's lips.

Luna looked over at her two children and saw Serena's wet shirt and shorts which made her furrow her brows.

"Rena, honey, I know you're nine years old, but you're supposed to be mature enough to not wet yourself." Luna said.

Serena rolled her eyes before groaning in frustration.

"I didn't wet myself, mom. Jesse spilled water all over me because he's mad that I wore his shirt." Serena said, shooting Jesse a glare in the process.

"Hmm." Luna hummed as she flickered her gaze from Serena to Jesse. "Nice."

Jasper cleared his throat as a warning, making Luna change her response.

"I mean, not nice. That's terrible, Jess. You shouldn't do that to your sister." Luna said, suddenly feeling weird about herself because there was no doubt that Luna would also do what Jesse did.

"You, Grumpy Wet Pants, go change or you guys will be late for hell—I mean, school." Luna said.

The raven-haired girl sent one last glare at the grinning Jesse before she stormed out of the dining area and towards her room to change into a completely different outfit.

"And you, Third-Rate Joker," Luna said, the nickname immediately making Jesse wipe the wide maniacal grin off his face, "Clean up the mess you made because I ain't cleaning that up."

"Yes, ma'am." Jesse replied before doing as he was told.

Luna then shifted her gaze towards her niece who was simply looking at her with her sweet face.

"Hi, Creepy." Luna simply said.

Renesmee softly laughed as she shook her head and returned her gaze to the meal set in front of her.

"Still don't know why you call me that, Aunt Luna." Renesmee said. "Dad told me I look sweet."

"Ness, have you met your dad? Edward's like a Walmart version of Stefan Salvatore." Luna said, causing the sweet Renesmee to giggle.

"Luna, it's been nine years. When are you gonna drop the Stefan thing?" Edward said as he entered the room, giving Renesmee a kiss on the head.

"Let me see. Maybe on the ninth of 'Never' or the seventeenth of 'In Your Dreams'." Luna said.

Jasper couldn't help the short and soft laugh that escaped his lips as he hugged his wife from behind.

"I love it when you make fun of Edward." Jasper said.

"I don't know how you even put up with her." Edward told Jasper.

"That's because you haven't had sex with me." Luna replied.

Jesse suddenly choked on his own food while Renesmee widened her eyes, both of them not wanting to hear furthermore from the dirty-blonde vampire.

"Mom!" Jesse exclaimed.

"I feel like we shouldn't be here right now." Renesmee said as she sunk on her seat.

Jasper could only hide his face on his soulmate's shoulder as the two kids and the one acting like a kid, complained about Luna's blunt response.

"Oh come on, don't pretend that you don't know who you're related to." Luna said before she pulled away from Jasper's grasp, placing a quick kiss on his cheek.

"Now you guys go. The school isn't gonna burn down itself." Luna said. "What, Serena, are you taking a dump there?! Get down here already!"

"I wouldn't even need to change if Banana Head wasn't a little bitch about me borrowing his shirt!" Serena shouted at the top of her lungs as she changed in her room.

Her shout rang into everyone's ears, including Luna's. It has been a while since Luna got a taste of her own medicine. With two kids shouting at each other at the top of their lungs every day, she has finally experienced what it was like when she shrieks at the top of her rockstar lungs.

"Damn, those lungs are really strong." Luna muttered.

The rest of them agreed before they proceeded on doing their own things.

Jesse, Serena, and Renesmee walked the halls of high school with yet another wave of stares that they always receive every day. It had something to do with the reputation of their family during their time in high school. Especially, Luna Swan-Hale.

Nine years ago, the speech Luna had at their high school graduation spread like wildfire throughout the fields, allowing every citizen of Forks to know the misfortune that Luna had gone through. It had been years since that had been announced, yet even Serena, Jesse, and Renesmee's schoolmates were fully aware of it.

"The urge to sew these people's eyes shut to stop them from staring is astronomical." Serena muttered as she glared at the students that were giving her looks that she didn't like.

"Tell me when you're ready. I'm kinda in the mood for chaos." Jesse replied, looking around as well.

"The way you guys sound like Aunt Luna is scary. Stop it." Renesmee simply said.

Jesse simply smiled at their cousin's response before taking it upon himself to change the topic.

"Anyway, are you riding back home with us after school, or is your boyfriend coming to pick you up again?" Jesse asked, a hint of teasing to be heard from his voice and seen from his grin.

Renesmee rolled her eyes as a smile tugged on her lips.

"How many times do I have to tell you, Jake's not my boyfriend." Renesmee said. "We're best friends."

"Yeah, right." Serena replied.

Jacob was still waiting for Renesmee as well as her parents' approval about his future with the girl, not that he was rushing into it or anything. He was there for her as a brother and as a best friend, nothing more, until the right time comes, of course.

"All right. I got Chem." Renesmee said as she stopped in front of the Chemistry Lab, making Serena and Jesse stop as well while Renesmee talked to them.

"Can you guys promise me that not one teacher would excuse me from class today because my cousins decided to bite a jock's ear or cut a cheerleader's ponytail?" Renesmee asked.

The twins shared a glance, Serena narrowing her stormy-blue eyes and Jesse narrowing his chocolate brown ones as if they were thinking about what Renesmee said.

"Nah. We don't make promises we can't keep." Jesse said while Serena simply shrugged as soon as they turned their gazes back on their cousin.

It amazes and horrifies Renesmee how much Serena and Jesse resemble their mom and dad. They were sarcastic and aggressive like Luna, but also caring and thoughtful like Jasper.

There were times when they would tease Renesmee for three-straight days. But when she was going through some problems that she would rather keep to herself than tell her parents, Serena and Jesse would always be there to comfort and cheer her up. They might be cousins, but the twins had always treated Renesmee like a sister.

"Of course, you don't." Renesmee muttered before the bell rang, its sound resonating throughout the whole school.

The bell sent everyone rushing into their respective classrooms, leaving the hallways empty and quiet...for a moment. Nothing stays silent when one is in the same area as someone with Luna Hale's blood running through their veins.

In the middle of the day, Serena Hale was excused from her subjects because of her participation in the musical that would occur the following week. They had to make the most of the time they have left for rehearsals. It was the only bearable time she has when she's at school. But take note, not amazing, not awesome, just bearable.

With the voice she inherited from her mom, she was able to get the lead on the musical play. The only downside was the character she was playing is why she hates people. Too jolly.

"The day started ordinary, boys walking by. It was the same old story, too fresh or too shy." Serena sang with an unusually wide and sweet smile that she had forced to plant on her face as she plays her very jolly character.

"I'm not the kind to fall for a guy who flashes a smile. Don't usually swoon, but I'm over the moon."

Serena was supposed to look at the love interest of her character, however, her gaze met a certain guy that she has had a crush on for a while now. And it helped with singing the song much better.

"And now I'm falling for ya, falling for ya. I know I shouldn't but I, I just can't stop myself from falling for ya, falling for ya. Can't hold on any longer, and now I'm falling for you..."

The smile that made its way into the guy—Zachary's—face almost made Serena choke on the lyrics she was singing.

"Now we're going steady. He's the cat's meow. He says I'm a Betty! And we paint the town. I'm not the kind to fall for a guy just 'cause he says hi. He's ready to race, and I'm catching his gaze."

Claire, who was one of the characters in the play as well, could see Serena and Zachary stealing glances from one another and it made her cock an eyebrow as she proceeded to do her part in the play.

"And now I'm falling for ya, falling for ya
I know I shouldn't but I, I just can't stop myself from falling for ya, falling for ya. Can't hold on any longer and now I'm falling for ya..."

Jesse slipped into the auditorium after getting a hall pass and excusing himself from class simply just to check out Claire. He had been wanting to join the musical just for her but he wasn't really a stage kind of guy, despite Serena telling him otherwise and trying to convince him that he was perfect for the play.

"It feels like I tumbled from another world. Into your arms and it's so secure. Maybe I'll stumble but I'll know for sure. Head over heels, I'm gonna be your girl."

For a moment there, Jesse shifted his gaze from Claire to Serena, and there he noticed the way she looked at Zachary, as well as how he looked at her. The boy smirked before looking back at his crush.

Serena's gaze averted from Zachary and towards one of the many seats in the auditorium, seeing her twin brother seated with his eyes on none other than Claire Peterson.

The raven-haired twin simply smirked before she proceeded to sing.

"And now I'm falling for ya, falling for ya. I know I shouldn't but I, I just can't stop myself from falling for ya, falling for ya. Can't hold on any longer and now I'm falling for you..."

As soon as the song ended, the professor in charged of the whole play announced a ten-minute break and Jesse took that as his cue to leave the auditorium before anyone noticed. A bit late about that though because of her intrigued and smirking twin sister.

The bell rang and it filled the halls with hormonal teenagers once again as they make their way towards their lockers and into the cafeteria.

Claire caught a glance of Jesse and she immediately ran towards him.

"Hey, Jesse!" Claire greeted with a smile.

Hearing her voice and seeing her approaching him with her sweet smile caused Jesse to perk up and muster up a smile himself.

"Hey, Claire." He greeted back as soon as she reached him.

"I saw you at the auditorium earlier." Claire said.

Jesse widened his eyes as he stopped walking, turning his body towards Claire as did she.

"You did?" He asked.

"Mhm. Was that about Zach and Serena?" Claire asked.

Jesse shot his eyebrows up in realization as he simply went along with the conversation to save himself the embarrassment.

"Y-Yeah. Of course. Why-Why else would I be there?" Jesse said, internally slapping himself or all the stammering.

"I knew it. People here really know how protective you are of your sister." Claire said. "I remember that time when you beat the crap out of David for calling Serena 'Blabbermouth'."

"No one gets to call Serena names here other than me." Jesse replied.

The two made their way to the cafeteria and they went their separate ways as Jesse made his way to Renesmee and Serena's table.

The look on Serena's face immediately told Jesse that she was about to say something that he would totally not like.

"Alas, the stalker is here." Serena said as soon as Jesse reached them with his lunch tray.

"Stalker?" Renesmee asked.

"Yep. Jess is stalking Claire." Serena bluntly replied.

Renesmee shoots her eyebrows upward as she nodded, looking at Jesse who was glaring at Serena.

"So she's your future mate. Aunt Alice told me that your mate is close! She said the same about Serena." Renesmee said.

Jesse widened his eyes and curled his lips into a grin as he turned towards Serena, who simply looked down on her meal and played with it with her plastic fork.

"Zach's your future mate!" Jesse whisper-yelled.

"Shut it!" Serena yelled, not whisper-yelled, she actually yelled.

All eyes turned towards the trio when Serena's voice echoed throughout the whole cafeteria. The raven-haired girl averted her gaze from her twin brother and towards the people that were having a hard time minding their own business.

"I'm holding a fork!" Serena threatened.

That was all Serena needed to say to make everyone look away and finally mind their own business.

"Poor Zach, little sis is gonna make his ears ring for days." Jesse said, ruffling Serena's hair in the process.

"You're only older by nineteen seconds." Serena said with gritted teeth as she pushed Jesse's hand away from her hair. "Besides, at least Zach and I are going somewhere. He just asked me out earlier. You just keep stalking Claire."

"Nuh-uh." Jesse said.

"Yuh-uh" Serena retorted.

"Nuh-uh."

"Yuh-uh."

"Oh my God, I just wanted a moment of peace to eat my lunch. Is that too much to ask?" Renesmee interfered as she groaned in frustration.

"Yuh-uh!" The twins simultaneously answered, making Renesmee roll her eyes.

"Okay. Look, Jesse, if you really like Claire, do yourself and her a favor and do something instead of stalking her." Renesmee said.

Serena shook her head as she swallowed the food in her mouth before responding.

"He can't. He's a pussy." Serena said.

"I'm not."

"Yeah, you are."

Jesse sighed in frustration as he glared at his raven-haired twin sister.

"You know what? I'm gonna do something about it. I am going to win her over." Jesse said before he stood up from his seat and walked away from their table.

Renesmee and Serena watched in amusement as Jesse made his way over to the students included in the musical play, taking one of their guitars for himself and plugged it in.

"One, two, one, two, three." Jesse counted as he stood on the table and started playing the guitar.

The sound of the electric guitar resonating throughout the cafeteria caused every student to turn their heads towards the blonde Hale twin in curiosity.

"Oh yeah yeah. Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, uh! Oh yeah yeah. Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, uh!" Jesse sang while holding the guitar.

Serena and Renesmee could not help but widen their eyes and leave their mouths hanging ajar. Jesse was up there with feet making dance moves that they never thought he could even do.

"Never had much faith in love or miracles, uh!"

Jesse sang while he jumped down the table and started to walk towards another one as he rolled up his sleeves, his entire being radiating with confidence.

"Never wanna put my heart on the line, uh!"

Claire watched as the boy sang and kept looking her way as he did.

The rest of the band accompanied Jesse's voice with their instruments and made everyone tap their feet on the ground and their heads nod along with the rhythm of the music.

"But swimming in your water is something spiritual, uh! I'm born again every time you spend the night, uh!"

Jesse climbed up another table as he used his shoulders and legs to create moves that even impressed Zachary.

Zachary looked over at Serena and mouthed the words 'He's good!' at her. Serena casually shrugged at the guy as she herself was just as surprised as he was.

While on top of the table, Jesse and his usual sassiness stepped on the edge of David's tray, making his food flip over his clothes. Serena couldn't help but cheer for his brother.

"'Cause your sex takes me to paradise. Yeah your sex takes me to paradise. And it shows, yeah, yeah, yeah."

Jesse ran across the cafeteria, going up and down each of the tables he came across with until he got to the last one and stood on it.

"'Cause you make me feel like," Jesse pushed down the half-folded cafeteria table along with the beat that made everyone cheer for him. "I've been locked out of Heaven."

"For too long, for too long."

Jesse ran on the other side of the room towards Claire.

"Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, uh! Oh yeah yeah. Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, uh!"

He now danced and sang in front of Claire, seeing a smile tugging on her lips, which only made his confidence grow stronger.

"You bring me to my knees, you make me testify, uh!"

Jesse knelt down in front of Claire as he clasped his hands together, imitating a pleading gesture that was beyond adorable in Claire's perspective.

"You can make a sinner change his ways, uh! Open up your gates 'cause I can't wait to see the light, uh! And right there is where I wanna stay, uh!"

Jesse once again climbed up on Claire's table before laying down next to her seat.

"'Cause your sex takes me to paradise. Yeah your sex takes me to paradise. And it shows, yeah, yeah, yeah."

Claire couldn't hold back the giggle that escaped her lips as Jesse danced around her. He offered her a hand and she looked at it before smiling brightly and accepting it, allowing her to step up to the table and sing with him.

"'Cause you make me feel like, I've been locked out of Heaven. For too long, for too long." Jesse and Claire sang simultaneously.

"Yeah you make me feel like, I've been locked out of Heaven. For too long, for too long."

Both Jesse and Claire danced to the music as they sang before she playfully pushed off the table, allowing him to gently land on some of the students who helped to stand back up on the table rather smoothly.

"'Cause you make me feel like, I've been locked out of Heaven. For too long, for too long."

Jesse pulled Claire to his chest and immediately snaked his arm around her waist as their foreheads touched, his head tilting side to side according to the beat.

"Yeah you make me feel like, I've been locked out of Heaven. For too long, for too long."

Zachary finally joined Serena at their table after mouthing words to each other throughout the performance.

"Why isn't he on the play?" Zachary asked.

Serena looked at him for a moment before she responded. "He was a pussy."

Jesse and Claire continued to sing and dance as everybody else watched in entertainment, dancing to the beat too.

Everyone in the cafeteria was on their feet as they cheered and clapped for the two people.

"Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, uh! Oh yeah yeah. Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, uh!"

The song ended and Jesse stood far too close in front of Claire and they couldn't help the loving smiles that stretched on their lips before Claire pulled him to a kiss.

Serena and Renesmee widened their eyes as a large grin appeared on their faces.

"Oh my God." Renesmee muttered.

"My brother's not a pussy anymore!" Serena exclaimed.

Everyone continued to cheer and clap for the couple as they pulled away, until someone from the crowd was not at all amused by the stunt Jesse pulled.

"Yo, Hale!" David shouted, silencing everyone in the cafeteria.

Jesse looked and moved away from Claire as he averted his gaze towards the jock that called Serena a 'blabbermouth'.

"You're fixing this." David said as he held his letterman jacket in his hand before roughly throwing it at Jesse.

The blonde Hale twin caught the jacket and looked at it, seeing the stain of the spilled food on it.

Jesse jumped down the table and glared back at David.

"No, I'm not." Jesse said before harshly throwing back the jacket at him.

David scoffed as a sarcastic smile appeared on his lips. He tossed away the jacket and shoved Jesse, making him take a few steps back.

"Woah." Jesse said as he puts his hands up.

He glared at the jock before pushing him back, which led to a fistfight.

"That's my cue." Serena said as she stood up from her seat with her soda.

"Wait, what?" Zachary said as he held her arm. "No, you're not fighting them."

"Oh, my sweet innocent Zach, it's cute how you underestimate me." Serena said as she placed one hand on his cheek before giving him her soda.

"Hold my shit." Serena said, making Zach take her soda before she walked away from them and towards the jocks that were ganging up against her twin brother, not that they were even winning at all.

"Aren't you gonna stop them?" Zach asked Renesmee, who was simply taking out a notebook and a pen from her bag.

"Oh, no. Aunt Luna said that if something like this happens, I need to take notes so she could read them and praise her children." Renesmee said.

"Excuse me." Serena casually tapped on one of the jocks' shoulders, causing him to glance at her. "Dumb move."

Serena immediately brought her knee roughly up his crotch that a scream erupted from the boy's throat before she punched him across the face.

Another jock grabbed her arm in a rough manner and Serena was prepared to kick his ass until Zach came in and kicked him so hard in the stomach, making him drop to the ground as he clutched his stomach in pain.

Serena glanced at Zach, impressed and touched about how he just stood up for her. Out of the blue, Serena pulled Zach by the collar and crashed her lips into his.

Zach smiled into the kiss as he pulled her closer before moving away when another jock attempted to come at them.

Jesse and Serena continued to beat the shit out of the jocks with the help of Zach by their side.

The fight continued to become brutal and—truth be told—hilarious before a couple of teachers came to break off the fight, much to Jesse and Serena's dismay.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice." The principal said.

"We wouldn't miss this for the world!" Luna exclaimed rather excitedly.

Jasper cleared his throat as a warning again, making Luna drop her overjoyed mood.

"I mean, this so, so terrible." Luna said, changing her response.

Luna and Jasper were called on by the school after breaking off the fight that took place in the cafeteria.

"I've been holding off on calling Serena and Jesse's parents for the three times that they have caused trouble in this school. The last time they did something, I told them the next strike would be calling their parents." Said the principal, clasping his hands together in the process.

"We understand. Thank you for calling us." Jasper said politely as he held his wife's hand.

"Yeah. So, who won?" Luna asked.

The principal furrowed his eyebrows as he became confused at Luna's interest in the subject that is completely different from the principal's and Jasper's.

"Darlin', that's not what we came here for." Jasper said as he gently squeezed his soulmate's hand.

"Oh, I know, honey. I just wanted to know who won." Luna said when she glanced at her husband. She once again looked back at the principal. "So, who did?"

The principal looked at Jasper in confusion, and he simply gestured for him to tell her who won so that they could get this over with.

"Your kids did." The principal said.

"Yay!" Luna exclaimed. "They won! Did you hear that? Our twins won the fight!"

"Selene—" Jasper tried to get her misplaced enthusiasm away from the time being but it seemed as though that was impossible.

"Wait, I need to call Val. She's gonna want to hear this." Luna said as she lets go of Jasper's hand and started looking through her bag in search of her phone.

"Selene, now's not the time." Jasper kept telling her.

"It'll just be a second, honey." Luna said before placing a quick kiss on his lips.

Jasper simply leaned back on his chair as he pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and index finger and the principal could only watch in confusion at how things are turning out.

Luna quickly dialed Valerie's number and the redhead picked up after a few rings.

"Val? Val, I've got amazing news! Serena and Jesse got into a fight in school and they won!" Luna exclaimed excitedly.

"Holy crap, really!" Valerie replied through the phone.

"Yes! I'm here with the principal right now. He'll tell you." Luna said before giving the phone to the principal.

"Tell my best friend that my kids won." Luna told the principal.

"Mrs. Hale, I don't think—" The principal tried to refuse until the woman snapped.

"Do it!" Luna snarled at the man, causing him to immediately take the phone with trembling hands and bring it up against his ear.

At this point, Jasper's face is buried on his palms, frustrated and embarrassed by the way his wife is acting at the moment. But then again, he knew who he was married to.

"Hello? Yes, this is Mr. Greene, Principal of Forks High School. Mrs. Hale is right, Jesse and Serena Hale did win the fight." The principal said.

Luna took the phone back and continued her conversation with Valerie.

"See?! I told you!" Luna exclaimed.

"Is that Luna?" Luna and Jasper heard Benjamin's voice in the background of the phone call.

"Benjie!" Luna exclaimed.

"Oh, For the love of God." Jasper muttered under his breath as he continued to hide his face into his palms.

"Hey! My kids got into a fight and they won!" Luna said.

They kept talking for another minute before Luna finally decided to end the call.

"Friday at our place, okay? Don't be late. This deserves a fucking celebration." Luna said before finally hanging up the phone.

"So, where were we?" Luna said, flickering her gaze between her husband and the principal.

"Nothing. You and your kids are free to go." He simply said, wanting Luna to leave the room and take their kids with them.

"Great! This was nice. Let's do it again sometime." Luna said.

The couple made their way out of the principal's office, much to his relief.

Serena, Jesse, and Renesmee were walking down the empty hallway to find Luna and Jasper.

"You think mom and dad are gonna like Zach and Claire?" Serena asked.

Jesse pushed his lips into a thin line as he shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know. Should we invite them sometime this week?" Jesse replied.

"I bet you five bucks Aunt Luna would say 'Let's freak them out and tell them we're bloodsuckers'." Renesmee said.

They suddenly stopped dead in their tracks when they heard Zachary and Claire calling out for them.

"Hey!" Claire shouted.

"Wait!" Zachary said as the two of them ran towards the three.

The three whipped their heads towards them and they smiled brightly.

"Hi." Jesse said as he gazed into Claire's beautiful eyes.

"Hi. Are you going now?" Claire asked.

"Yeah. Our parents are here." Jesse said. "We're kinda suspended."

Claire laughed when she remembered the incident in the cafeteria.

"I figured." Claire said. "I was wondering if you're free this weekend. Maybe we could hang out."

Jesse raised his eyebrows as he nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, that's great."

Claire smiled widely at the blonde Hale twin as he returned the favor.

"How 'bout you? Are you free this weekend?" Zach asked Serena, a charming smile playing on his lips.

"Absolutely. Thank you for earlier, by the way." Serena asked.

"No problem. I mean, I was surprised when you suddenly started beating up people twice your size." Zach stated.

Serena shrugged her shoulders. "What can I say? We're family. We look out for each other."

"Till the moon's upside down." Jesse added.

Jesse, Serena, and Renesmee shared glances as they smiled.

"Hey, Luna-tics, let's go. We're going shopping." Luna's voice echoed throughout the corridor.

The five turned to Jasper and Luna standing s couple of feet away from them, his arm wrapped around Luna's waist.

"Coming." Serena said.

The three waved their goodbyes to Zach and Claire before they walked away and made their way towards the couple.

"Are they the ones Alice told us about?" Jasper asked, an intrigued grin tugging on his lips.

"We suppose." Jesse answered.

Luna and Jasper cocked an eyebrow as they shared glances.

"Well," Luna said as they started walking out of the school altogether. "You should invite them to the victory party I'm throwing this Friday. Let's freak them out and tell them we're bloodsuckers!"

Renesmee gave the twins an I-told-you-so look before they continued to listen to Jasper and Luna.

"Yeah, and I can tell you guys about the time I won over your mom and aunt here." Jasper said as he pulled her closer.

"You so did not! I won you over." Luna argued.

"Darlin', you look extra beautiful today." Jasper said.

Luna's face softened as she felt like she was going to melt in his arms in an instant. With the smile on his lips and the sound of his accent, melting on the spot was more than possible.

"Really?" Luna asked with her loving eyes.

"Absolutely." Jasper replied before placing a quick kiss on her lips.

The honey-blonde vampire looked behind him and winked at the three kids as he just demonstrated how Luna Swan-Hale's non-beating heart flutter at the little things that Jasper does.

And all of them knew that their love will never fade. It will never wither away. And Jesse, Serena, and Renesmee wished that they could also find great love like theirs that would last till the moon's upside down.
