LUNA HAD ALWAYS LOVED STORMS. Aside from the fact that people usually use the word 'stormy' to describe her eyes when she still had her blue-gray-ish ones, it's also because of her love for the rain and the fact that lightning and thunder scares most people.

It would be a dream come true if she were to create an actual storm...right?

"Aro will want us incapacitated before he attacks." Edward said. "Jane and Alec will try and take me out first because I can anticipate their moves."

The Cullens, the Denalis, and Jacob were gathered in another living room, discussing their predictions about their encounter with the Volturi.

"Too bad we don't all have your shield." Garrett told Bella as he stood beside Kate.

"Doesn't help me fight, though." Bella answered.

"No, but you can help the rest of us, if you could project it." Tanya said.

Luna, who sat beside Jasper, as usual, narrowed her eyes in curiosity as she watched the exchange intently.

"What does that mean?" Luna asked.

Tanya looked at Luna before looking back at the other twin.

"I mean, shield someone other than yourself." Tanya suggested.

"Is that possible?" Bella asked, her face having a hint of excitement.

"Gifts can be developed. Overtime." Carlisle replied.

"At first, mine was just in my palms. Now, I can radiate it all over my body." Kate explained.

"How do you do it?" Bella asked excitedly.

Kate simply sighed, hesitant. Then, Bella suddenly grabbed Kate's hand in a rather harsh manner.

"Show me." Bella said, her excitement still not wavering.

"Ow." Kate said as she raised an eyebrow at her.

Luna slightly leaned towards Jasper and whispered, even though everyone could still hear her. But then again, that's the point of mocking someone.

"If I were Kate, I'd probably break all 27 bones in Bella's hand." Luna said.

Luna simply received a playful glare from Bella before they proceeded with the situation.

They were once again back at the forest, where Kate is helping Bella develop her shield ability while everyone else watched, even Alistair was watching from a tree.

They were about to start when three vampires came to join them, the Knight Clan. They were friends of Valerie.

"Hey, we missed you at the meeting last night." Edward said.

"Valerie filled us in." Owen Knight replied.

The woman, Althea Knight, gave a polite smile before she responded.

"My apologies. We were called upon our old friends, they have news about Aro." Althea said.

Everyone turned to the Knights with anxious expression plastered across their expressions.

"Well, what is it?" Jasper asked.

Althea glanced at her husband, Wyatt Knight, who stood on her left as he stepped up.

"You're right. They're planning on taking Alice and Luna for themselves. Considering Luna's rather hostile reputation, they know she won't back down without a fight. Aro's fascination with Luna goes beyond anything he had laid his eyes upon. So, it's unlikely that they'll kill her if she doesn't cooperate." Wyatt explained.

"That could be an advantage, right?" Luna said.

Althea smiled and nodded. "I'll discuss this with Carlisle."

Althea went back inside the house to inform Carlisle about what they had found out while Owen and Wyatt remained in their positions, planning on watching whatever was happening out there.

"So, what's up?" Owen asked as she crossed his arms against his chest.

"We're trying to develop Bella's shield ability." Emmett answered.

The two Knights wore interested looks on their faces before they shrugged and decided to stay.

"Ready?" Kate asked Bella and she simply nodded in response.

"You need to visualize it. See how it moves. What color it is." Kate explained as she stood before Bella. "Now, picture it expanding. Will it to go beyond you."

Bella pursed her lips into a thin line as she intensely does what Kate told her to do. She visualized how it moves, what color it was, and eventually, she forced herself to go beyond her. And for a moment, it worked.

Everyone eyed the newborn intently, seeing how the shield resembled that of a force field that emerge itself out of her, until it was suddenly pulled back because of Bella breaking concentration.

"I think she needs something to motivate her." Kate suggested as she turned towards Edward.

Edward and Kate shared a glance and considering Edward could read Kate's mind, he already knew what she meant and what he had to do. Bella flickered her confused gaze between Edward and Kate as she slightly pushes her eyebrows together.

Edward was reluctant as he stepped up, pulling out his hands from his pockets and getting them ready. That was when everyone else realized what was about to happen, and Luna couldn't help but place a wide, excited grin on her face.

"No." Bella protested.

"It's all right, I can take it." Edward reassured his wife.

"He says that now." Garrett murmured.

"Focus, Bella, or he's gonna be hurting." Emmett said.

"This is gonna be so much fun!" Luna exclaimed. "Shock his ass!"

Luna's overflowing enthusiasm caused everyone to look at her weirdly, making Luna stop from jumping up and down.

"Jasper, where are the coconuts?" Luna asked.

"You're not throwing coconuts at their heads, darlin'." Jasper said.

"Damn it." Luna muttered before crossing her arms against her chest and let everything continue.

Edward lifted his hand in front of Kate as she does the same. Their hands leading up to each other was agonizingly slow as Kate stared right into Edward's anxious eyes, his jaw clenching as he did.

"Edward, I'm not ready to do this yet." Bella said as Kate finally touched Edward's hand and the flow of raw electricity surged throughout his entire body, causing him to groan and drop to the ground.

"I'm sorry. I said that I wasn't ready." Bella said, looking at Edward's grimace as he sat on the ground.

"Dude, you're not motivating her." Emmett said.

"You want to try?" Edward challenged.

Emmett held his hands up, his eyebrows shooting upwards and his lips pushing into a thin line.

"I should get the camera for this, right?" Luna asked Jasper.

Jasper simply shook his head in disapproval, causing Luna to pout as she looked up at her husband. He softly laughed before planting a quick kiss on her pouting lips.

"Get a room!" Emmett shouted at Jasper and Luna.

"Get some balls!" Luna shouted back.

Luna's comeback made both Owen and Wyatt stifle a laugh. The dirty-blonde vampire averted her gaze on the two Knights, her eyebrows cocking.

"I have new fans." Luna muttered.

They all focused their attention back on Bella as she once again tried to concentrate all her energy in shielding her husband from Kate's unendurable electric shock.

They could once again see the force-field like blanket floating its way out of Bella and towards Edward, attempting to engulf him with it. However, it still wasn't enough.

Kate pinched Edward's neck and it wasn't the pinch that made him groan and scream in pain, although he wished it was. The electricity radiating off of Kate's palms electrocuted Edward on the neck which spread throughout his entire body.

"Ooh. That's gotta hurt." Wyatt muttered as he grimaced.

"Kate!" Bella warned.

"You seem to lack incentive. Shall I go see if Renesmee's awake?" Kate taunted as she made a move to walk away.

"Are you crazy?" Bella exclaimed, nearing Kate as she glared at the blonde.

Kate turned her body towards them again, holding her palm up in front of Edward as she looked at them.

"All right. This one's on full power." Kate stated.

Luna couldn't hold back the chuckle that erupted from her throat when she saw how Edward's eyes widened in horror.

Edward looked back at Kate, licking his lips as he prepared himself for a whole lot of pain. He took a deep breath as he watched Kate's determined expression. Not wanting to see anymore, Edward squeezed his eyes shut as he held up his hand, feeling Kate's hand's presence nearing his.

Everyone watched intently as another blanket of force field enveloped Edward. But unlike earlier, this one engulfed him completely. Bella stared at her husband worriedly, letting her need to protect him push her further to successfully shield him.

Kate intently stared at Edward before wrapping her hands around Edward's wrist. The sound of electricity crackling against his skin made even the other's grimace. However, their grimaces were then replaced by astounded looks when they saw how Edward was still standing, how Kate's ability seemed to have no effect whatsoever as it crackled against his skin.

Alistair leaned away from the tree as he too became as amazed as everyone else was. It was the only thing they had in common. The amazed looks that were plastered across their faces as they watched Bella shield the love of her life from the unbearable electric current flowing out of Kate's body and into Edward's.

Edward opened his eyes and his mouth hung ajar as he realized that the electricity wasn't hurting him as much as before.

Kate finally lets go of Edward's wrist. As soon as Kate withdrew her electrifying touch, Edward finally let himself release the breath that he didn't realize he was actually holding.

"It's painful, but it's bearable." Edward said as he turned towards his wife.

The statement put a proud smile on Bella's face.

"Let's do it again." Bella said.

Edward immediately turned to Emmett. "Emmett?"

Luna almost laughed out loud at Emmett's reaction. He flickered his widened eyes between everyone as he immediately stepped back and refused.

"Nah. I'm good." Emmett said.

Owen casually shrugged his shoulders as he looked at Luna and took it upon himself to speak up.

"Let's have Luna develop her ability." Owen suggested.

Everyone looked at Owen, actually agreeing to his statement, except Luna.

"And make myself even more valuable for Aro to take? No, thank you." Luna refused.

"It could also increase our chances in winning, if it does come to a fight." Garrett responded.

Luna glanced at Garrett for a little longer, finding that his statement actually has a point. If she were to develop her ability, they've got more chance to defeat the Volturi. After all, she had been labeled as the vampire who has the most powerful gift. She wouldn't be the talk of the century if she wasn't.

"Well, I don't even know if there's still anything to develop. I copy abilities. That's it." Luna said.

"Have you tried copying multiple abilities at the same time?" Wyatt asked as he neared them.

Luna shook her head. "No. When I copy an ability while in possession of another, the previous one just gets replaced by the recent one."

"Well, that's what you have to develop. Broaden the holding capacity of your copied abilities, so you could copy more than one at a time. Maybe even combine them." Jasper explained.

Luna cocked an eyebrow, realizing that this was something that she could possibly do. She could be even more awesome than she already was.

"Well, I guess I'm gonna need to copy your abilities, because all I have right now is Kate's after I pranked Edward last night." Luna said as she snickered.

Edward glared at the dirty-blonde vampire.

"Yeah, about that...stop." Edward warned.

Jasper couldn't hold back the smile that appeared on his lips when he remembered Edward's reaction last night considering he had watched Luna do it for the whole six times.

"Anyway, come on. Let me copy some of you." Luna said. "Oh, get Benjamin! I wanna have his!"

Eventually, because of their curiosity with the talk of the century, everyone had gone out into the forest to watch Luna develop her already powerful ability.

"You said you needed me?" Benjamin asked.

Luna smiled excitedly as she neared him. "Yes. I want to copy you, is that okay?"

"Sure." Benjamin happily accepted.

"Great. Well, even though you decline, I'd still do it anyway." Luna said.

"Oh, I'm fully aware of that. I just prefer to do this civilly than me pinned on the ground which I guess would most likely happen if I refuse." Benjamin explained.

Luna fakely gasped, bringing a hand over her chest.

"I can't believe you people think of me that way." Luna said. Edward was supposed to intervene when Luna continued. "It's super accurate."

Luna held out her hand, asking for Benjamin's. He clasped his hand in hers and Luna concentrated in the presence of his ability flowing itself through her. For a moment there, she enjoyed it again. The current of somebody else's energy surging throughout her body, giving her the foreign feeling which was usually accompanied by euphoria.

However, she couldn't help but let go for only after a few seconds when she realized something.

"Fuck." Luna muttered as she let go of Benjamin's hand.

"What's wrong?" Jasper asked beside her.

Luna sighed as she flickered her gaze between Jasper and Benjamin.

"I lost Kate's ability. Benjamin's replaced it. I'm gonna need to copy hers again." Luna muttered before she went back to Kate.

Kate held up her hand and Luna accepted it. The dirty-blonde vampire took a deep breath before she concentrated on copying Kate's ability while preventing Benjamin's from slipping away.

That's when she realized that each and every ability she was copying has a completely different current structure. They were all exhilarating, but she could also feel the individuality of each of the abilities. Therefore, she focused on both of them, making sure that none of it would slip away from her grasp.

Abruptly, Luna withdrew her grip on Kate's hand as she stepped back. Her eyes were widened and her mouth was hanging ajar as she felt every move of both completely different current inside of her. Handling two needed much more control that she was barely handling.

"Selene, darlin', are you all right?" Jasper asked, placing a hand on her back.

Everyone else watched both curiously and worriedly when they noticed how uneasy Luna looked.

"I'm having a hard time controlling it and you calling me 'darlin' is making my non-existent heart flutter. It's not helping." Luna said, her voice slightly shaking.

"Does that mean you have both abilities at the same time?" Bella asked.

"One fucking hundred percent." Luna answered.

Luna took deep breaths as she stepped back from the crowd of vampires, trying to calm the jittery movements of the energy inside her.

She fluttered her eyes close as she takes one last deep breath before the flow of both energies inside her finally calmed down.

She opened her eyes revealing the concerned faces of the vampires that stood a couple of feet away from her.

"Woah. I feel like I'm in a one-woman-show." Luna said as she eyed the crowd. "I kinda like it."

"So, what's next?" Luna added.

Carlisle shrugged. "Well, try to use them."

Luna nodded in response.

She licked her lips as she prepared herself to use the abilities she copied at the same time. She closed her eyes, doing what Kate told Bella earlier.

She visualized both of the energy currents flowing calmly inside of her. Slowly, but surely, she could feel those currents separating from each other. The one she identified as Benjamin's energy current flowed towards to the left of her body as the other she specified as Kate's streamed towards her right.

At the same time she opened her eyes, she held her hand slightly up to move it away from her body as a wave of flame appeared on her left hand and crackling electricity on her right.

A proud smile stretched on Luna's lips as she held her hands in front of her, seeing two different abilities in either hand.

"I did it." Luna muttered. "I did it!"

Everyone smiled in amazement as they watched her look at her hands in awe.

"Great. Now she will shock me and set me on fire at the same time." Edward said in a very unenthusiastic manner.

"You bet I will!" Luna exclaimed before turning off both abilities, clearing her hands of the flames and the electricity.

Everyone was pretty satisfied, more than satisfied, with what Luna had exhibited with her powers. But there was still one of them, who thinks that there is so much more to her than lighting fire with her left pinky and shocking people on the other.

Alistair jumped down from the tree, earning everyone's gazes as he shoved his hands inside the pockets of his trenchcoat and glanced at Luna.

"Combine it." Alistair said.

Luna furrowed her eyebrows as she also stared at Alistair. "Combine what?"

"The two abilities, combine it. Instead of using it separately which is basically the easiest way to handle them." Alistair said bluntly.

Luna cocked an eyebrow as an appalled expression plastered across her face and that reaction of hers was enough to let everyone know, especially her family, that Alistair should shut the hell up.

"Alistair—" Carlisle tried to intervene but Luna wouldn't let anyone interrupt.

"You think this is easy?" Luna said, the tone of her voice that the Cullen family recognized all too well which allowed them to acknowledge the things that could happen if they don't stop them, one of the scenarios showing Alistair's head thrown across the forest and the rest of his body mauled by her lioness self.

"A flame in the pinky and a spark on the other? Yes, it is easy." Alistair continued to taunt.

"Alistair." Jasper warned as he sent a glare towards him.

Edward, having the ability to read Alistair's mind, was then enlightened about what Alistair was planning to do. Carlisle was about to put a stop to the argument when Edward grabbed his arm, secretly telling him to not interrupt with a mere shake of his head.

"What? I'm not amazed, is all." Alistair said as he stood, still further away from the crowd.

Everyone could clearly see that Luna's reputation precedes her. The way her they thought that her striking gold eyes turned a shade darker because of fury. And they swore that the ambiance suddenly went freezing than them as they did nothing but watch, not knowing what else to do.

"Fine. I'll give you something to be amazed about." Luna challenged, stepping further back and away from all of them.

Vladimir couldn't help but form an amused smirk on his face as he slightly leaned towards Stefan.

"This should be good." Vladimir said.

Jasper tried to reach out to her. He could feel every bit of anger Luna was feeling not just because he was an empath but because of the soulmate bond that has become stronger over time.

"Selene, come back here. You don't have to prove anything to anyone." Jasper said.

"Actually, I do." Luna said. "And that's I don't take crap from anybody."

Luna took one last glare at the slightly grinning Alistair before she closed her eyes.

She once again visualized the flow of the current that was still living inside of her. They were still intact and strong.

Benjamin's ability was elemental manipulation. That meant that he could influence the four elements: land, fire, water, and air.

Kate's powers gave her the ability to radiate electric current all over her body, allowing her to electrocute people.

If she were to use these two abilities, she'll need to be creative. She needed to do something that would go well together when these two abilities were combined.

And she just came up with the perfect one.

Each of the clans, as well as the nomads and Jacob, watched as their surroundings started to modify. The winds were starting to pick up its pace, the light was suddenly dimming, the temperature was suddenly dropping.

They were looking around when they were startled by the sound of thunder resonating in the area. The wind was becoming harsher by the second, making their hairs whip around like the leaves and branches of the trees surrounding them. The area was now dark and gloomy. They looked up to see the sky covered with dark grey clouds.

"What's happening?!" Aurora shouted through the sound of the harsh wind blowing through their ears.

Carlisle looked back down from the sky and towards Luna who was standing still a couple of feet away from them.

"I think she's manipulating the weather!" Carlisle replied.

As soon as Carlisle answered, a lightning strikes down on the tree near them, the very tree Alistair was leaning on earlier.

Right after that, little drops of rain started to make drip down their paperwhite skins, and soon, it was raining harder than it ever had in Forks. The gusty wind was blowing stronger, the rain was falling harder, the thunder was getting louder, and the lightning was getting more intense.

"She used Benjamin's ability to manipulate air and water and Kate's electricity to create a thunderstorm!" Jasper shouted for everyone to hear.

The thunderstorm was mirroring Luna's fury and everyone could tell. Everyone was now drenched in the rain as more lightning stroke near them.

Hearing some of them yelp in surprise, a smirk appears on Luna's lips before she was satisfied and gradually set everything back to normal.

The harsh wind started to disappear. The sun was once again shining brightly above them. The thunder was nowhere to be heard and the lightning was nowhere to be seen.

The thunderstorm that Luna had created left them soaking wet and undeniably astounded.

Luna opens her eyes and it revealed her striking golden brown eyes, averting them towards an equally rain-soaked Alistair standing a couple of feet away from the other vampires.

"Amazed yet?" Luna asked.

Alistair simply smirked before he turned around and walked away.

She then turned towards her husband, who was smiling at her proudly. Just when he thought she couldn't get any more extraordinary, she did.

Emmett couldn't help but grin widely as he turned towards the rest of the Cullens and asked.

"Does that mean we can play baseball anytime we want now?"
