SERENDIPITY. THE OCCURRENCE and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way. If there was a word Luna could use to describe everything that had happened and the outcome of that happening, it was serendipity.

The unexpected pregnancy of her sister, as well as her unexpected survival. The unexpected shapeshifting. The unexpected amount of goodness in what most of them used to call demon baby. It was all sudden but it was all worth it because something really good came out of it.

There was still one occurrence though that bothered Luna, and despite putting in an effort to understand it, she just ended up throwing a butterfly figurine against a wall in frustration.

"I do not approve of you being my nephew-in-law, do you understand me?!" Luna exclaimed.

For what felt like the one hundred and fifty-sixth time in two days, Luna and Jacob were once again bickering about the incident of the werewolf imprinting on her newborn niece.

"You think I want you to be my freaking aunt? That's disturbing." Jacob argued back.

Luna has her hands balled into fists in front of her and she groans in utter annoyance as she, Jacob, Leah, and Seth emerged from the forest after having a run with them. Leah still wasn't fond of Luna, but that didn't bother the vampire much. Jacob still infuriated Luna, therefore, she avoided the two as much as possible and really just ran with Seth.

While they were waiting for Bella to wake up from her transition slumber, Luna had been copying Seth's ability to shapeshift so she could run with them in her stunning lioness form.

There had been some questions raised about her shapeshifting. Like, how does her body work while in her lioness form? Carlisle had kept himself busy and figured out that even though the girl had transformed into a lioness, her body was still hard as stone and cold as ice. Like she was a walking dead lioness. A walking, biting, butt-kicking lioness.

Another is why did she transform into a lioness instead of a werewolf? Jacob explained that not all shapeshifters turn into werewolves, that was when Luna decided to throw Renesmee's rattle toy at him because she already knew that and she was demanding for something that she doesn't know. Since no one really had an explanation about why she was transformed into a lioness, Luna simply made 'I prefer cats over dogs' the official reason.

Seth and Leah remained outside while Jacob and Luna went inside.

Jacob stayed with Renesmee, which Luna could only roll her eyes at before she went to check on her sister.

Luna didn't want to overwhelm Bella when she had just woken up. Which was why she decided to run for a good three minutes before coming back. She thought that she'd be a bit at ease by now so she decided to finally approach her sister.

"Hey, Taco Bella-Woah, hey!" Luna said when she walked in on Bella and Edward kissing, causing them to pull away.

"Get a room, will you?" Luna complained.

Edward gave his sister-in-law an annoyed look before he spoke.

"Luna, we are in a room." Edward said.

Luna rolled her eyes before retorting.

"Well, at least close the door." She said.

"The door was closed."

"Okay, no one asked you!"

Luna received another eye-roll from Edward before she averted her gaze to her sister. She looked so much healthier than she was before. A few days ago, Luna couldn't even look at her because of how shattered she looked.

"Are you ready?" Luna asked her.

That was when Bella remembered, it was as if her face lit up at the thought.

"Renesmee." Bella whispered.

A bright smile appears on Edward's face, replacing the scowl that he had on towards Luna.

"She's incredible." Edward said.

"And slightly creepy...but otherwise, incredible." Luna chimed in.

Bella glanced at her sister and gave her a playful glare.

"Where is she? I have to see her." Bella said as she tried to walk away to get to her daughter. But before she could go anywhere, Edward was quick to hold her gently.

"Wait, wait." Edward said, causing the newborn vampire to look at her husband. "You need to get your thirst under control."

Bella suddenly noticed the thirst for blood, which made her hand lift its way up to her neck, her throat felt like it was throbbing as it demanded for blood to flow down on it.

"Yeah, you need to hunt." Edward said.

While the married couple was hunting, Luna was holding Renesmee after successfully snatching it from Rosalie who had been practically hogging her for the past two days.

"I'll be back in ten minutes." Rosalie said as she walked away.

"I'm not gonna eat the baby, Rose." Luna said.

Rosalie sighed deeply, trying to calm herself down and trying not to worry too much. She finally went out of the room at the same time Jasper entered. The two gave each other a smile before they walked past each other.

Jasper's eyes then landed on his fiancé who was holding the beautiful Renesmee. It was a sight that Jasper wanted to see every day, Luna holding a baby and looking at it with admiration. It suddenly made him sad knowing that they won't have a baby of their own. Little sweet Jaspers and little fierce Lunas would've been really fun to have.

"Hey." Jasper greeted, his voice slightly faint with his lips tugged into a warm smile.

Luna lifted her head up to see him standing by the doorway. Despite having enhanced senses, she had not notice Jasper there until he spoke. She was too focused on Renesmee as if she could only see her.

"Hi." Luna said.

The smile on Luna's face was different. It was a mix of emotions. Bliss. Sadness. Fear. He could feel all those feelings mixing together creating a smile on Luna's face that was somehow both bright and gloomy at the same time.

"She showed me her first memory of me the other day and I can't get enough of it. Apparently, her first memory of me was when I beat the shit out of Jacob." Luna said in amusement as Jasper approached them.

"Selene, language. You're holding a baby." Jasper said as he reached Luna's side.

"So what? It's good to know all these things early so she'll grow up a badass." Luna replied, bringing her gaze back to the baby.

"Oh no. We're gonna have another Luna-tic, aren't we?" Jasper said. His face held worry in it as he imagined Renesmee being like her Aunt Luna.

Luna whipped her head towards Jasper when she didn't like the tone of his voice when he said that.

"Why, you got a problem with that?" Luna asked, her tone threatening.

Jasper's golden eyes slightly widened as he racked his brain to come up with a rather complimentary response to flatter the aggressive girl.

"Of course not. I'd love my niece to be as amazing as my fiancé." Jasper said, rubbing her arm gently and rather awkwardly.

Luna rolled her eyes at her fiancé's attempt to flatter her and simply let it slide before focusing her attention back on the baby.

"I'm gonna be one hell of an aunt." Luna said.

The honey-blonde vampire gazed at the scene before him, taking it all in while he responded as if he was in a trance.

"Yes, you are." He replied.

Luna started to sway a bit to make Renesmee more comfortable in her arms.

"I'm gonna be the aunt that tells her niece that her boyfriend is her mother's former suitor and that they kissed and her father nearly beat the shit out of him more than once." Luna said. "That is one dysfunctional family. I like it."

The sound of the baby's giggling caused the two vampires to look at Renesmee with wide eyes, Luna even gasping. It was the first she's heard her laugh.

"She just laughed." Jasper said, his smile stretching on his face.

"I know!" Luna exclaimed. "You like that story, huh? You like that? Want Auntie Luna to repeat it?"

The smile on the baby's face remained as she gazed into her aunt's eyes.

"Your daddy Eddie beat the crap out of your future boyfie JJ!" Luna said in an adorable way to make Renesmee laugh, and it worked.

"Yes, your broody daddy did that! He broke JJ's floppy arm and threw him against the fucking wall!" Luna said in a very enthusiastic manner that still managed to make Renesmee giggle adorably.

Jasper laughed along with them. She was different yet somehow still the same when she's talking to Renesmee. It was like she was trying to be really enthusiastic for her niece, but then she adds her usual Luna-tic flavor when he heard her making fun of Jacob and Edward, and don't even get him started on the constant cursing.

Her time with her niece was up when Rosalie and Jacob entered the room with infuriated expressions on their faces caused by their irritation towards each other.

They were told that Bella and Edward would be home soon, and Luna was more than excited to witness her sister see and hold her daughter once again. But mostly, she was excited to see what her reaction would be when she found out that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee.

All of them were gathered in the living room, even Valerie. They already consider her as part of the family because of how many times she had protected them and how well she gets along with them. She deserved to be loved unconditionally and they offered to give her that.

"Welcome to the family." Esme greeted when Edward and Bella entered the room.

The newborn vampire smiled at the woman as she walked in barefooted.

"You look amazing, Bella." Alice commented as she held hands with Jackie who simply winked at Bella.

She couldn't help but widen her smile with all the warm welcome.

"Someone's been waiting to meet you." Carlisle said.

Bella stared in anticipation before Carlisle moved away to see Jacob and Rosalie standing together with Rose's back facing them.

"Rose." Edward said.

The blonde vampire finally turned around that was the first time Bella had seen her daughter since she woke up. Her eyes were compelling, and her smile was breathtaking. She looked like she was in a good mood, hence, the giggles that came out of her mouth as she stared at her mother.

Rose handed Renesmee over to Bella gently and the newborn vampire couldn't help but be amazed and gaze at her own daughter. A stunned smile appeared on her lips as Renesmee made adorable noises.

The baby slowly reached up to touch her mother's cheek and it stayed like that for a few seconds, slightly confusing Bella as her mind was then filled with short and vague memories.

"What was that?" Bella asked as soon as Renesmee withdrew her hand.

"She showed you her first memory of you." Edward said.

"Showed me? How?" She asked, her gaze not leaving the baby.

Edward smiled, a puff of breath escaping before he continued.

"How do I hear thoughts? How does Alice see the future? Valerie with tapping into fears? Jasper with feeling and manipulating emotions? Luna with her copycat ability? She's gifted." Edward explained.

Bella continued to stare at the baby as she slowly tugged down on Renesmee's lower lip, showing her teeth.

"I've only been out for two days?" Bella asked, finally looking from the baby and towards the others.

"Her growth rate is unprecedented." Carlisle answered.

Everyone looked at the baby in worry because of her continuous fast-growing condition.

"All right. That's enough experimenting on one day." Jacob said, reaching to take Renesmee from Bella's grasps.

"Jacob. She's doing great." Edward said, his gaze hardening.

"Yeah. Let's not push it though." Jacob replied, continuing to be suspicious and taking Renesmee away from her own mother.

"Back off, wolf." Luna warned as she stepped forward, causing Jasper to hold on to her tight. If someone was going to beat up Jacob, it should be Bella.

Bella turned her crimson red eyes towards Jacob in a suspicious and annoyed manner. Jacob couldn't help but part his lips at the look on Bella's face.

"What's your problem?" Bella asked.

Rosalie smiled sarcastically as she patted Jacob's shoulder.

"Oh, do tell her, Jacob." She said.

"This should be good." Emmett said as he anticipated what's going to happen next.

Luna then turned to the others as she whispered to them.

"Prepare your money." Luna said.

Earlier that day, they made a bet if Bella would simply beat up Jacob or Bella would straight up kill him.

"Hold on a second...Bella." Edward said as he gently takes Renesmee into his arms while Bella went back to glaring at the werewolf.

"Look, it's a wolf thing." Jacob said, his voice cracking in the process due to extreme anxiety.

"What's a wolf thing?" Bella asked in an angry manner, causing Rosalie to raise her eyebrows and back away, leaving Jacob defenseless against Bella.

"Uhm...You know we have no control over it. We can't choose who it happens with. And it doesn't mean what you think, Bella. I promise." Jacob explained, fear written all over his face as he tried and failed to make what he did sound acceptable.

Edward reached for Bella after giving Renesmee to Rose. He placed a comforting hand on Bella's shoulder in an attempt to ease her anger.

"Take Renesmee out of the room." Bella said, her glare towards Jacob not faltering.

"Oh." Jacob breathed.

"Edward, don't touch me right now. I don't wanna hurt you." Bella said.

Edward took his hand off of his wife's shoulder as he sent Jacob a warning look.

"Oh." Jacob repeated, fearing what was coming next.

Out of the blue, Bella suddenly brought her hand up to Jacob's neck and pulled him down before dragging him out of the house.

"Oh dear Lord, Rest in Peace, Jacob." Valerie muttered under her breath as she watched the newborn drag the shapeshifter out of the house.

Bella took him outside and tossed him to the ground with no effort at all. Like the way Luna threw a plastic fork away after murdering the poor cafeteria lunch that she despised back then.

"You imprinted on my daughter?!" Bella exclaimed.

Everyone went rushing out of the house and into the porch, watching the scene before them.

"It wasn't my choice." Jacob justified.

"She's a baby!" Bella shouted.

"It's not like that! You think Edward would let me live if it was like that?" Jacob said.

Edward leaned on the railing of the porch as he watched Bella beat up Jacob in amusement.

"I'm still debating it." Edward answered, making Luna smirk.

"I've held her once!" Bella said as she took threatening steps down the porch and towards him. "One time, Jacob! And already you think that you have some moronic wolfy claim on her?"

Jacob couldn't answer verbally and could only shake his head.

"She's mine!" Bella said as she shoved Jacob with her shoulder, sending him tumbling over to the ground again with her unbelievable strength.

While the other Cullens were watching them in worry, Edward, Valerie, Jackie, and Luna couldn't hide the amused smiles on their faces.

"It's more exciting than how I imagined it." Luna muttered, her wide smile not fading.

Jacob slightly struggled to stand back up and when he did, he was met by Leah and Seth in their wolf forms.

"It's fine, Leah." Jacob said when Leah growled.

Jackie left Alice's side and went back inside to get something that would be of use during the fight.

"You're gonna stay away from her." Bella warned.

"You know I can't do that." Jacob responded earning another punch from Bella that sent him flying a few feet away. All everyone could do was watch, which didn't bother Luna at all.

Jackie went back outside hugging a bowl of popcorn with an enthusiastic smile on her face.

"Popcorn, anyone?" She said.

The other couldn't help but smile at her enthusiastic attitude during this situation.

"Oh right, you don't eat this anymore. More for me then." Jackie said, stuffing her mouth with more popcorn as the scene before them proceeded.

Jacob looked hurt as he tried to push himself back up, while Leah and Seth could only watch as their friend was getting beat up.

"Stop her, Edward." Esme said.

Luna whipped her head towards Esme.

"Hey, that's unfair. You just want to win the bet!" Luna told her, causing Carlisle and Esme to smile and shake their heads.

"Relax. He said it's fine. She's amazing, right?" Edward replied as he watched his wife make Jacob suffer, a scene that he has been wanting to see for so long.

Jacob averted his gaze back to Bella before coming up with another way for her to understand him.

"Do you remember how much you wanted to be around me three days ago? That's gone now, right?" Jacob said.

"Long gone." Bella replied.

"Because it was her. From the beginning, it was Nessie who wanted me there." Jacob justified.

"Nessie? You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness Monster?!" Bella shouted in fury.

The dirty-blonde vampire couldn't help but snort at her sister's angry response, a laugh following after.

The Cullens turned to her as she tried to stop herself from laughing.

"I'm sorry. She got me there." Luna said as she continued to laugh.

Bella's rage caused Jacob to back away again to protect himself. Bella made a move to attack Jacob again but then Seth suddenly growled and went after Bella, causing him to get tossed against the trunk of the tree, a whimper escaping his throat.

All traces of Luna's smile and laugh were wiped off of her when her favorite werewolf was hurt.

Luna left Jasper's side and went to stand beside Seth to help him.

"Seth, are you okay?" Jacob asked as he, Leah, and Luna reached him.

Seth continued to whimper as he tried to stand back up.

"Seth, I'm sorry." Bella said.

The werewolf finally stood back up again and shook the pain off as he continued to whine.

"He'll be alright." Jacob said.

"Don't worry. I'll treat you to shawarma later." Luna told him.

Seth rubbed his head against Luna's cheek, causing her to smile before Seth went to his sister.

"Bella, you know me better than anyone. All I want is for Ness—Renesmee to be safe. Happy. Look, nothing ever made sense before. You, me, any of it. And now I understand why. This was the reason." Jacob explained.

Luna noticed Bella's anger drifting away. There was no sign of anger in Bella's face anymore and that made Luna widen her eyes.

"Hold up. You're not gonna kill him?" Luna asked her sister.

Jacob turned to glare at the dirty-blonde vampire. The silence between them was enough answer for Luna.

"Great. I just lost eighty bucks." Luna said before going back to the porch with her wallet out.

She gave Esme, Alice, Carlisle, and Edward twenty dollars each, Jasper, Jackie, Emmett, and Valerie did the same because they bet against Bella not killing Jacob. Jasper was supposed to bet against Bella killing Jacob, but his ears began to ring because of Luna telling him that he should be on her side, causing him to place his money on the other choice.

After treating Seth to shawarma, Luna finally decided to come home to the Swan Residence to check up on her father.

"Daddy, I'm back!" Luna announced, her voice echoing throughout the house.

Charlie emerged from the kitchen with a worried look on his face that confused Luna.

"Are you out of beers?" Luna asked.

Charlie furrowed his eyebrows before shaking his head and approaching his daughter.

"No. It's just—" he sighed in frustration. "I have something to tell you."

Luna furrowed her eyebrows and crossed her arms against her chest as she waited anxiously for what her father has to say to her.

"Well, what is it?" She asked.

The man stared at his daughter for a few seconds longer before he managed to say the words and waited for Luna's episode to arise.

"A friend called me. Hannah was bailed out of jail earlier." Charlie said.

The confusion on Luna's face then disappeared as she could only stare at her father's concerned expression.

Serendipity. The occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way. If there was a word Luna could use now to describe everything that had happened and the outcome of that happening, it was definitely not serendipity.

It was far from serendipity. In fact, the perfect word would be—

"Motherfucker." She muttered.

BREAKING DAWN PART 2 AAAAAHHHHHHH!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!! I already know how this is going to end and I'm so ready to smile and cry at the same time.
