AFTER THE AMAZING NIGHT THE SOULMATES had in their special place, they sneaked into the Cullen house through the balcony in Jasper's room. Walking into the front door with their clothes ripped isn't exactly a sight that any of them would want to see.
The whole night, there was a lot of talking. Luna was bummed out about not having to sleep anymore. It was one of the things that she liked in Forks. To sleep into the cold night and wake up with her warm comforter making her cozy. Now, she can't do that. But it was easier to take her mind off of it when her company is Jasper Hale.
For the following couple of days, the preparations for the wedding have resumed and Jasper and Luna are excused from their duties for a few days while he taught Luna a couple of things about being a vampire.
Like, learning how to blink voluntarily, because unfortunately being a vampire makes you wide awake. Learning how to not stand straight, because apparently that's too good to be true. Basically, learning how to be not perfect.
Within those couple of days, she still wasn't able to go home and see Charlie. Which Luna understood. She needed to control herself first. Though, she knew it was going to be easy because this is Charlie they're talking about. She'll let herself burn before she could hurt him. So, while she keeps herself away from her dad, she focused on the things that Jasper has taught her.
The one day that Jasper and Luna get to be included in preparing for the wedding is the day before it.
"What's that annoying noise?" Luna said as she was holding a huge log.
"Bella's dragging the heels instead of walking in them." Jackie said, earning a playful glare from Bella.
"Of course, she is." Luna sighed as she closed her eyes.
"Where do you want 'em, boss?" Emmett asked Alice while he too carried a huge log.
"On either side of the aisle." Alice answered.
Emmett continued to walk towards the venue while Luna simply furrowed her eyebrows and turned to ask Alice something but Rosalie beats her to it.
"What aisle?" Rosalie asked, carrying a log as well, but one that is much smaller than Emmett's.
"Does no one have vision?!" Alice exclaimed before leaving Bella and Jackie to themselves.
"Geez, calm down, lady." Luna said before following Alice to the aisle.
Alice gave them the instructions in a rather frustrated manner. Luna was starting to get annoyed, but then again, when was she not? Jasper just got back from bringing a long wooden, mystical looking bench that goes perfectly well with the fantasy theme the venue was having.
"Hey, beautiful. How are your tasks going?" Jasper said when he reached Luna, wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Alice is giving me a hard time. Please protect me." Luna said, pouting as she wraps her arms around him.
Alice playfully glared at Luna while the dirty-blonde vampire stuck a tongue out like a spoiled little brat.
"Selene, I think you can handle Alice all by yourself." Jasper stated.
Luna groaned in frustration and rolled her eyes before pulling away from her soulmate.
"I know that, but would it kill you to just play along?" Luna said.
Jasper just laughed softly before reaching for her hands. By this time, Alice had backed off and decided to let the two talk while she proceeded to scold the rest of her family.
"Guess what?" Jasper asked.
Luna widened her crimson red eyes, tons of ideas popping into her mind all at once.
"Chris Evans is on the porch?"
"No."
"Phoebe Buffay is singing 'Smelly Cat' in the living room?"
"Didn't you say this to Bella before?"
Luna shrugged. "You never know when it could actually be true."
Jasper couldn't hide the amused smile that appeared on his lips. Luna always never failed to make Jasper or everyone in the family grinning like a crazy person.
"I was going to say that you can come home tonight." Jasper told her.
Luna's lips parted as her eyebrows slightly shoot upward. The sides of her lips curled up ever-so-slightly as her eyes seemed to twinkle in pure bliss.
"I get to see daddy again?" she asked, a genuine smile now taking over her features.
Jasper smiled back, feeling how contagious her happiness was.
"Yeah. You get to see him again." The honey-blonde vampire replied.
Luna withdrew her hands from Jasper's grasps and she placed them over her mouth as her smile continues to widen and brighten.
"I can see him again." Luna muttered.
For days, she has been missing Charlie so much. Every after a lesson that Jasper teaches her, her first question was if she can see Charlie then. And every time she asked, the answer remained the same. Not yet.
Jasper simply nodded. It makes him happy that his soulmate is happy. Even though neither of them could feel the heartbeat of the other, they still felt as if they're one.
"Though, there is one little problem." Jasper said.
"What?" Luna asked.
Jasper reached for something from the back pocket of his jeans and takes out a case of contact lenses before holding it out in front of Luna.
Luna's smile immediately dropped when she once again remembered that she needed to wear one of the things she hated most in the world.
"Motherfucker." Luna could only mutter.

The drive back home with Bella and Jasper was nerve-wracking for Luna. All she could think about was, what if Charlie figures out what happened to her and what she is now. However, she is a pretty good liar. She had been pretending for a long time before. She was silently hoping that he doesn't figure it out so that the contact lenses that were forced to torture her eyeballs would be worth it.
Charlie opened the door and there he saw two of his daughters, the other he hasn't seen in a long time and he could never be more surprised at how much she had changed since he last saw her.
"Luna? Wow...You got a new look?" Charlie said as he stepped aside to allow his daughters to come inside.
Bella looked over at her sister to check how she's doing and Luna found herself looking back at her as well in worry before she responded.
"Yeah. I-I just thought that a new look would be appropriate for opening another chapter in my life and all that sentimental crap." Luna said, a rather awkward smile playing on her lips which happens very rare.
"Huh. Makes sense." Charlie just said before turning around to get something from the kitchen.
Luna closed her eyes and sighed in relief as Charlie has his back on his daughters. Luna looked over to Bella and she gave her a thumbs up to tell her that she's doing great.
"There's some leftover shawarma in the fridge. Do any of you want some?" Charlie asked.
Luna looked at her dad with a miserable pout on her face, causing Charlie to look at her in confusion.
"What?" he asked.
Luna shakes her head rather excessively.
"Nothing..." Luna said. "I'm just an emotional bitch."
She then proceeded to go upstairs to her bedroom which she hadn't slept in for days. Charlie looked at Bella with his eyebrows still furrowed and his index finger pointing towards where they last saw Luna.
"What just happened?" Charlie asked.
Bella pushed her lips into a thin line as she tried to come up with an excuse.
"It's that time of the month." Bella could only say.
"Oh..." Charlie whispered as he nodded in realization then suddenly went to narrow his eyes at Bella. "Isn't it always her time of the month?"
"Right?" Bella replied.
The two of them laughed, amused by how they suddenly took interest in mocking the dirty-blonde vampire, who can hear them perfectly clear, by the way, before their talk turns into a more serious one with the wedding happening the next day.
After the long talk Bella had with Charlie, she went to her room and became nostalgic about all the memories that she and Edward had spent with one another. Who knew that these two would end up getting married and spending the rest of their lives together?
Later that night, Edward came to visit Bella to check if his bride was having any cold feet. A funny joke came into Luna's mind when she heard Edward ask her that, but she was too lazy to converse with them that she just simply eavesdropped...until Jasper and Emmett dropped by.
A whistle could be heard from outside the house and a shout from Emmett saying "Come on, let's go!"
"What is that?" Bella asked.
"I'm late for my bachelor party." Edward said.
It was like all the laziness in Luna's body was completely shoved away as she sped out of her room and into Bella's without caring enough for their privacy and knock.
"Send him out Bella, or we're coming in after him." Emmett said while he hung on the window when Luna came in.
Emmett jumped down as Luna looked at Edward.
"What bachelor party?" Luna asked.
It was clear that Edward was trying to hold back his laughter due to Luna's reaction but before he could answer her question, Jasper jumped into the window and took it upon himself to answer his soulmate's question.
"Edward's getting married, so, we thought that we should throw him a bachelor party." Jasper said.
Luna raises an eyebrow as she crosses her arms against her chest in an intimidating manner.
"Does this bachelor party include strippers?" Luna asked.
A wide teasing grin appears on Jasper's lips as he had an idea, which was not a very good one.
"Why, you want to join?" Jasper asked, his wide grin not leaving his face.
Luna felt her cold body boil in so much heat, even if that doesn't make any sense, as she unfolds her arms and took threatening steps towards her soulmate.
"I'm gonna break your bones, Jasper Whitlock Hale." Luna said with gritted teeth.
Before Luna could get to him with her speed, Jasper had already let go of the window and lets himself land on the ground as Emmett released a chuckle from what Jasper just did.
Bella and Edward couldn't help but laugh as well at how the two make fun of each other.
Luna turned to Edward with still her death glare on while she neared the groom for the wedding tomorrow. Edward's laugh immediately died down when he saw Luna's glare and he immediately grabbed Bella gently and placed her in front of him like a shield knowing that Luna wouldn't hurt her own sister.
"We were just gonna be with a couple of mountain lions...maybe a few bears." Edward said.
Luna narrowed her eyes at Edward, testing if he was bluffing before she lets it go.
"Okay, then." Luna said.
She made way towards the window and poked her head out to look down on an amused Jasper who was standing next to an equally amused Emmett.
"No kisses for you for an entire week." Luna told him. Jasper's smile disappeared and replaced by a pout before he replied.
"Oh, but darlin' it was just a joke. Emmett found it funny." Jasper said.
"Then, you can kiss Emmett this week." Luna said before pulling her head back in.
She said good night to the bride and groom and went back to her bedroom even though she won't be able to get any sleep for eternity.
Luna locked her window, which Jasper complained about and Luna only stuck her tongue out then proceeded to spend her night listening to music and singing in whispers.

"What did I say about beauty sleep?" Alice told Bella as she prepped the bride's face for her makeup.
"Sorry. Bad dream." Bella said.
"I miss that." Luna said weirdly enough.
"Maybe it's wedding jitters." Bella added as Alice continued to do what she's an expert at.
Luna was curling her hair in still her robe when Rosalie walked in, makeup and hair all done.
"Do you need some help? I can do her hair." Rosalie asked Bella.
Bella, Alice, Jackie, and Luna turned to look at the blonde with a seemingly confused and surprised look. Probably because Rosalie wasn't that fond of Bella in the first place but still offered to help.
"Really?" Bella asked.
"Yeah, really?" Jackie echoed.
A smile appears on the blonde's lips.
"Stop smiling. I might kiss the wrong Hale." Luna said, not sure how someone can be so beautiful. But then again, her special ability was having enhanced beauty.
Rosalie winked at Luna before making her way to stand behind Bella.
"Please, Bella. I'm not offended by your choice of groom." Rose said.
"Just my blatant lack of respect for mortality." Bella replied.
Rosalie tilted her head slightly before she answered.
"Essentially." she said.
Alice then walked to stand next to Rosalie before hugging her sideways.
"Weddings, they bring everyone together!" Alice said with her usual enthusiasm.
Luna shakes her head as a smile spreads into her lips. The four worked their magic on preparing the bride for her wedding. Her makeup was stunning, her hair was gorgeous. she looked amazing, and none of them could wait to get Bella into her wedding dress. But the smile from Luna's face was soon wiped away when she heard a familiar voice that she was still slightly not fond of hearing.
"Alice? Bella?" Renee called.
"Great. Mommy dearest is here. That's my cue to leave." Luna muttered to herself even though the two vampires could hear her.
Luna went to get her dress from the rack before making her way towards the door. Renee saw her dirty-blonde daughter and she was gawking because of how stunning her daughter is.
"Oh, sweetie. You look beautiful." Renee told her.
"I know." Luna said rather coldly and without stopping from walking out of the room.
Renee glanced over at her other daughter and Bella simply shrugged.
After a while, Luna had finally slipped on her bold red dress with matching red stilettos that she previously hated but now is one of her favorites.
She walked into the venue and she definitely turned heads because of her bold choice of wearing a red dress to a wedding.
Angela, Jessica, Mike, and Eric seemed to be some of those people that was captivated by Luna as soon as she walked in.
"Holyโis that Luna?" Eric asked, his eyes widening in surprise, as well as the three others who stood next to him.
"Since when did she have blonde hair?" Angela said.
"And why is she wearing red?" Jessica commented.
"Who cares? She looks amazing." Mike said as he stared at the dirty-blonde vampire.
"Yeah, keep drooling, Mike. Maybe Jasper would notice you staring at his girlfriend." Jessica said.
Mike looked away immediately and cleared his throat as he tried to place his attention somewhere he won't get his bones broken.
"Well, hello there, ma'am." Jasper said when he reached her, picking up her hand and placing a kiss on the back of it. "You look heavenly."
"You look ravishing yourself, Major." she said, their smiles widening.
Jasper placed his hands on her waist as he moved closer to her.
"I'm surprised Alice lets you go out like this. You know you're not supposed to wear red to a wedding, right?" Jasper said.
Luna shrugged.
"I'm Luna fucking Swan. I can do whatever I want." She said.
A soft chuckle left Jasper's lips before replying.
"Yes, you are." Jasper said before leaning in to kiss her but Luna suddenly slapped Jasper right across the face. It wasn't that hard, but it was enough to make her point.
"Ow?" Jasper said.
"That's for last night. What did I say about kisses?" Luna reminded him.
Jasper sighed before pulling away from her.
"That I can't have any for making fun of you last night." Jasper answered in an unamused tone.
"That's right, cowboy, regret what you did." Luna said, patting her soulmate in the shoulder.
Jasper releases another deep sigh before her eyes landed on the Denali coven.
"Here, I'll introduce you to some people." Jasper said, holding her hand and leading her towards the Denali coven being entertained by Esme and Carlisle.
"Ladies, gentleman," Jasper started, earning the three blondes and two brunette vampire's attention. "I would like you to meet Luna Swan."
The Denali's greeted Luna with a welcoming smile as Jasper continued.
"Darlin', this is Tanya, Kate, Irina, Eleazar, and Carmen. They are our cousins."
"Oh, so, you're the one the Cullens never shut up about." Tanya said.
"Well, what can I say, I can never be a dull subject." Luna said.
Kate raises her eyebrows as she nods her head.
"I like her already." Kate commented.
Jasper smiled and looked over at his soulmate.
"What's not to like?" Jasper said, his voice filled with admiration towards the dirty-blonde.
"Perhaps the fact that she's allowed to wear my signature color and I was not?" A rather cheery voice chimed in and Luna would never be wrong when it comes to guessing whose voice that was.
Luna turned around to see the smiling redhead glowing in her stunning navy blue dress.
The dirty-blonde looked back on the Denali's before excusing herself.
"Excuse me." She said before making her way towards the redhead.
"Alice is gonna murder you." Valerie said.
"She can try." Luna said.
The two smiled before hugging each other, pulling away only after a couple of seconds.
"I only heard about what happened to you the other day. How are you feeling?" Valerie asked as she placed a hand on Luna's arm.
Luna sighed, shrugging right after.
"It was shocking, but I bounced back, like I always do. How 'bout you, Val? How are you holding up?" Luna said.
"Okay, I guess. There's really nothing much to do now that I don't have a sister to hunt down." Valerie replied.
The two wanted to talk to each other further but everyone was then asked to gather in their respective seats since the bride is ready to walk the aisle.
Jasper takes Luna's hand and the two smiled at each other adoringly before making their way towards their seats.
The venue was magical. It was like butterflies could fly around this place. There were flowers everywhere. Flowers hanging over their heads, flower petals scattered on the floor, flower bushes placed on either side of the aisle. It was like a paradise. All Luna was waiting for was for the fairies to come and play.
They stood in front of their seats, looking at the back where they finally saw the bride clad in a lace and silk white gown with her arm linked around her father's. Luna could see how nervous Bella was. She can see her hand trembling from where she was standing.
Luna, with her hand still clasped in Jasper's, squeezed his hand gently as electricity started to flow in her veins. She once again focused on her sister, concentrating on her emotions.
The bride sighed deeply with her eyes closed. Her trembling finally came to a stop before looking forward and seeing her groom, causing a small, comforting smile on her face.
Luna then noticed the look on her dad's face. How his eyes were glistening and how hard it was for him to place a smile on his face. He was holding back the tears, trying not to look so obvious that he's about to cry, which he failed at.
And then, she looked at Edward's face. There was nothing but pure bliss and love towards his bride can be seen in the man's face. The way he looked at Bella was heart-melting. Luna wished that someone looked at her that same way.
That's when Luna remembered, she does have someone that looks at her that way. Someone who looks at her like she's more than just a person, but his entire world. Someone who sees her entire soul and considers every flaw perfect the way they are. Who looks at her like she's the reason for his existence. Who sees her as his heart, his happiness, his sun, and his moon.
And while Luna watches as her sister says her vows to her groom, Jasper stares at his soulmate with a thought in his head that he plans to surprise her with soon.

Oh, God. I love my babies. I so enjoy writing them. I decided to have Luna wear a red dress to a wedding because, let's face it, she isn't Luna if she doesn't do something like that.
Anyway, once again, I want to thank you guys for all the lovely messages I've been receiving from you. You guys never fail to make my day. I hope Jasper and Luna made your day as well. <333
xoxo Sammy
