THE TABLE WAS FLIPPED UPSIDE DOWN, well, not literally, of course. But that doesn't mean each and every one of them didn't want to.

Even though they had this incredible urge to lose control right there and now, they were able to control themselves long enough to let Alice explain.

"I had a vision that I introduced Jackie to all of you as my mate. And not one of you liked her." Alice explained as the cafeteria table remained intact. "I didn't know why you guys didn't like her, until Edward read my mind and told me that the girl was Jackie Morrison. The same girl that was in Luna's mind that was partially responsible for her getting..." She trailed off, not wanting to be more specific enough.

Everyone's gazes turned to Luna, whose face was buried in her palms as her elbows rested on the table. She was incredibly pissed, to say the least.

Luna had this urge to lash out but instead, she rose from her seat and left the table with a furious aura, earning not just the Cullens' and Bella's gazes, but the other students' attention as well as she waltzes out of the cafeteria.

"I'll talk to her." Jasper said, about to stand up from his seat.

"No. Let me." Said Bella.

Jasper nods once as he shifts in his seat, letting Bella stand up from her seat and give Edward a reassuring gaze before she walks out of the cafeteria, following Luna.

Much to Luna's frustration, as soon as she pushes the double doors open to walk out of the cafeteria, she is met with a certain brunette former cheerleader that was walking in the middle of the empty hallway, her steps slowing down as the girl saw Luna.

Luna's steps also came to halt when the two were now a few feet apart from each other.

"Luna, look-" Jackie started, her British accent rolling off her tongue, but she was interrupted by Luna.

"How does it feel to ruin someone's life?" Luna said, her voice holding a handful of anger as she crossed her arms.

Jackie furrows her eyebrows at the statement of the raven-haired girl.

"Pardon?" She asked.

Luna rolls her eyes before untangling her arms from one another.

"Let me say that in a language that you understand." Luna said, clearing her throat and readying herself for the on-spot cheer that she had improvised.

"He's a prick! You're a stick! On your knees and suck his dick!" Luna cheered with a sarcastic smile plastered across her face.

But that made Luna even more confused.

"Wait, are you implying...that Jeremy and I had sex?" Jackie asked.

Suddenly, the doors to the cafeteria opened and it revealed Luna's twin sister. Bella's breath hitched in her throat as soon as she saw Luna standing a few feet from Jackie.

"Luna, come on." Bella told her sister. But she should've known better. Luna wasn't going to lose this chance to finally confront one of the guilty parties and get her revenge.

"Stay out of this, Bella." Luna said, her gaze not wavering from Jackie.

"Not just that. You also told Jeremy to get me so drunk, that I won't be able to fight back as he sexually assaulted me." Luna said, her hands curling into fists.

Bella appears beside Luna and she glared at the brunette that stood in front of them.

Jackie widens her eyes in shock when the words came out of Luna's mouth.

"Wait, what?!" Jackie exclaimed. "Okay. First, Jeremy and I never happened because that's impossible. Second, I would never do anything like that!" She added, flickering her gaze between Luna and Bella.

"Like I'd believe you. Hannah said-" Luna said but she immediately cut off.

"Hannah Lynn Roman? You mean the same Hannah that is Jeremy's girlfriend right now?" Jackie said, her eyebrows raised.

"What?" Luna muttered out, looking and feeling dumbfounded.

"Look. Jeremy and I never happened. It's impossible because he's not my type. In fact, boys aren't my type." Jackie explained.

Luna continues to stare at Jackie dumfounded while Bella took it upon herself to continue the conversation.

"You're..." Bella trailed off, allowing Jackie to continue.

"A gay former cheerleader? Yeah." Jackie said as she looked at Bella. She then averted her gaze towards Luna who was still confused about what was going on.

"I would never do what you're accusing me of. Ever." Jackie said, looking straight into Luna's eyes.

Luna could see the sincerity in Jackie's eyes and she didn't want to believe it. She didn't want to. Because that means that she was played by Hannah and she despised being played.

"You're lying." Luna said, even though she actually believed her.

"She's not." Someone from behind them spoke.

Luna remains looking ahead, knowing already who it was that spoke while Bella turns around to see her boyfriend standing in front of the double doors.

"Stay out of this, Broods-a-lot." Luna told Edward.

Edward ignored Luna's statement and casually approaches them.

"Go back inside. I'll handle this." Edward told Bella.

Bella nodded and walked away to go back into the cafeteria with the rest of the family while Edward remained with Luna.

"Excuse us." Edward told Jackie and she simply nods in confusion before Edward dragged Luna out of the campus and into the car park.

Luna was not attempting to break free from Edward's grasp because she was too busy cursing Hannah in different languages. Her thoughts were so loud, that Edward was practically drowning in them.

The two stopped beside the Volvo and Edward leaned on it while Luna does the same, still dwelling on her murderous thoughts.

Edward's hands were in his pockets when he timidly glances at the raven-haired girl.

"So, who's Hannah?" He asked, acquiring the name from Luna's thoughts.

"You're reading my thoughts?" Luna said, looking at Edward with her forehead creased.

"It's hard not to when you're shouting the twenty-seven ways you want to make Hannah suffer." Edward said, a small grin playing on his lips.

"Twenty-eight, actually. You haven't heard the last one yet." Luna half-joked, earning a soft laugh from the bronze-haired boy.

Luna looked away from her sister's boyfriend and fixated it in front of her, letting herself dwell into her thoughts one more, but this time, taking Edward with her.

"Hannah was a friend of mine. She was also a cheerleader. The only cheerleader that I was able to tolerate. She was the one I went with to the baseball team's victory party. Jeremy was on the team, he partied like crazy. So did we." Luna said.

Edward tilted his head towards Luna as he listened to every word she has to say.

"Now that I think about it, I only had one bottle of beer." Luna said, a bitter laugh coming out of her mouth as water pooled in her eyes. "I wasn't supposed to be that drunk." She added, her voice breaking.

Edward's lips parted when Luna's thoughts became even louder, and realization hit them both.

"Hannah spiked your drink." Edward muttered.

"And she played me like a fool. I hate people making me look like a fool." Luna said.

Edward lightly scoffs at Luna's words, making her glance at the bronze-haired boy.

"Luna, you are many things. A fool is definitely not one of them." Edward said.

A small smile tugged on Luna's lips as she glances at the bronze-haired boy.

"So, is this why you brought me here? To bond with your amazing future sister-in-law?" Luna teased.

"Sister-in-law because of Bella and I or because of you and Jasper?" Edward said, a teasing grin appearing on his lips.

Luna was quick to react negatively at Edward's statement.

"You and Bella, of course! I don't even like Jasper." Luna lied.

Luna definitely likes Jasper. Even though Edward was fully aware of that because of her thoughts practically screaming the opposite of what she's saying, he acted as if he didn't her thoughts.

"I consider Bella as my soulmate. But you and Jasper are literally soulmates. There's no way around that. So, even though you guys hate each other, you still like each other. That sounds like it doesn't make sense, but in a way, it does." Edward said, a laugh falling off his lips afterward.

Luna shakes his head as she fought the wide smile that wanted to spread on her lips. To her surprise, she was actually enjoying Edward's company. It has been a while since she has opened up like that. She always felt like a caged bird. Like she was trapped by her own paranoia.

She lets herself be trapped in it for two weeks ever since the incident happened. Now, she felt like she was able to breathe more.

"So, Jackie had nothing to do with what happened to me, huh?" Luna asked, already knowing what the answer would be.

"I looked at her thoughts. She was genuinely oblivious about what happened to you." Edward replied.

"Then, I cut her ponytail off during pep rally for nothing!" Luna exclaimed, feeling stupid about how clueless she was at that moment.

"Her new hair suits her though." Edward said, complimenting Jackie's new look.

Luna, being her usual annoying self, narrowed her eyes and smirked as she turns her gaze towards the bronze-haired boy.

"You think she's pretty. Oooh, Bella would be so jealous!" Luna exclaimed before she pushed herself from leaning on the car and skipped back to the school while teasing Edward.

"Wait, that's not what I meant!" Edward said, marching after Luna.

"Like I care!" She yelled back.

"What are you doing?!"

"Outing you to my sister!"

Luna then takes off and went into the school building while Edward goes after her with an irritated expression on his face.

"And here I thought we were finally interacting like normal people." Edward muttered before he reached the doors.

I love Luna's relationship with Edward. In fact, I love her relationship with all of the Cullens. Like they could be all sweet and caring, then suddenly Luna would pull something hilarious to irritate them. Basically, it's Luna acting like herself.

Anyway, Jackie is my very first gay baby and I have so much things planned for her. (One might have something to do with bringing down Hannah...)

Plus, if any of you are wondering why Luna could easily recover from when her trauma is being discussed, it's because part of her personality is to force herself into feeling strong. All her life she has been this girl that people are scared of and she wants to remain that way. She wants to remain brave, even if that means she would have to push those vulnerable feelings down. But of course, there would only be so much Luna could take, which would most likely blow up in the future.
