ℌaving a hot boyfriend was not for the faint of heart, let me tell you.

When your boyfriend looked like a Greek God (maybe because he was the son of one) and was one of the best people on the planet, everyone seemed to flock towards him. He had this aura around him, drawing people to him, and charming them with a cheeky grin or a flash of ocean blue eyes, and I wouldn't lie and say those charms didn't work on me.

So, I was used to dealing with being a little jealous of people. I wouldn't say it was a constant in our relationship, but I'd definitely got used to people flirting with him because they could and because he was hot. Sometimes, they would see me and back off, which normally happened, if they didn't do that, then Percy would oftentimes turn tails and run back to me, with a worried look on his face, like he was afraid I'd be upset over it. But it wasn't his fault, so how could I be?

Percy was kind and respectful, apologising to me when it did happen, no matter how much I waved it off.

"Babe, we're going to be late for dinner." I was hopping around my room, trying to pull my shoes on at the sound of Percy's shout.

"I'm coming." I almost fell in my effort to get my trainers on, but managed it all the same. Opening the door, I emerged into the living room of my dad's apartment, finding him and my boyfriend chatting quietly about the latest Yankees game.

Percy had managed to charm my dad within minutes of meeting him the first time, much as he did to most people. Now, sometimes I felt like the third wheel in my own relationship, my boyfriend and dad getting on far too comfortably for my liking. It did amuse me however that Percy had been so terrified of meeting my father for the first time, something I often brought up.

"Sorry about that." Percy turned, a grin lighting up his entire face as I leant up to press a kiss to his cheek. "Work ran a little over and the train was late."

"It's alright. You look beautiful." His eyes were soft, smile even softer as he held out a bouquet of tulips and sunflowers. "Happy anniversary."

I grinned, blush warming my cheeks and I couldn't meet his eyes for a moment.

"I'll have her back before 10, sir."

"Have her back whenever." My dad beamed, as I rolled my eyes. Despite my father's protests that he would not like any boy I dated, I knew he considered Percy as a son. "You're adults, I trust you."

"Thanks dad." I grinned, handing him the flowers so that they could go into a vase. By the time I got home, I knew my dad would have put them in my room. "See you later."

He waved, as Percy led the way out of the door, swinging our hands between us gently. We were only going a couple of blocks away, to a cute diner to grab some food to take away, before we headed to find a bench near the river for us to eat. That had been our tradition for anniversaries and birthdays for two years or so now, neither of us liking the other to spend a lot of money on us.

"Alright, so, I'm thinking you're gonna get cherry coke..."

"Yeah." Percy nodded as I guessed his order. It was always a little different depending on where we went, but there was a similar running theme going through it.

"The mildest thing on the menu because otherwise you're gonna be sweating for the entire date." He blushed at that, nodding and laughing to himself all the same. We'd gone out to eat on our third date and I'd taken him to my favourite Thai place. He hadn't checked how spicy the food had been and it had promptly almost killed him. Percy had been so red that I was worried he was going to explode and I was sure there was steam coming from his ears. "Then ice cream for pudding."

"Blue." Percy agreed. "I think I know what you're going to get."

"Oh yeah." I waited for him to tell me but there was nothing. "Are you going to tell me?"

"No, I'm going to order and we're going to see if I get it right and how good a boyfriend I am." I'd tell him that he got my order right whatever he got me, but it made me laugh at his excitement. He shot me a grin before leaving as I sat down on one of the high chairs by the window, leaning back against it as I waited for him to get the food.

Every so often he would turn around to check that I was there, shooting me a grin and a wink, which in turn made me laugh and him beam even harder.

"Are you an angel?" I paused, wondering who would use such a cheesy pick up line and what poor person it was being inflicted with it. I turned, before catching eyes with a man, and he was staring at me.

Oh. I was the one being inflicted with it.

"No."

"Well, you look like you fell from heaven. How can someone so beautiful be sitting here on their own?"

"I'm waiting for my boyfriend." I pointed towards Percy, who was now ordering. The man paid no mind to what I said, grinning at me all the same. He seemed to take me responding as an invitation to draw closer.

"Let me buy you a drink, baby."

"I can't drink, I'm not 21." I turned back to my boyfriend, staring daggers into his head as I urged him to hurry up or turn around. But Percy was chatting with the cashier quite happily.

"They don't have to know."

"Can you back up?" I glared at him, before standing from my seat. He was wearing a choking amount of cologne as if attempting to suffocate me. "You're in my personal space and I don't like it."

"Oh, I'm sorry, baby." He was being so patronising and a scowl appeared on my face. The only person who could call me nicknames like that was Percy, and from anyone else's mouth, it sounded very wrong. "Don't go getting mad at me, baby."

"Don't speak to me then." I replied, glaring back as he laughed. "I didn't ask to be bothered by you."

"I'm not bothering you." He held his hands up, shaking his head. I scowled before finally catching Percy's eyes. He had turned with a grin, though it had dropped within a moment, his eyes darkening and lips turning into a scowl. It almost felt like the room had gotten colder as he stalked over to us.

Percy was drawing to his full height, fists clenched and a hand in his pocket as if he was going to draw Riptide. When he was within arms length of me, one possessive arm got wrapped around my waist. Percy glared down at the man who was speaking to me, Riptide now in his hands as he toyed with lid.

"Can I help you?"

"Just keeping your girl company." The man put his hands up. "Sorry for being nice."

"Wasn't needed." I muttered as Percy pulled me closer. His hand traced circles on my waist as I watched my boyfriend square his shoulders and glare down at the man. If you knew that he was a demigod, you could almost immediately tell that he was a son of Poseidon, his eyes stormy and the air growing colder around us. "I didn't want company."

"She said she didn't want you here. Leave." His voice had gotten deeper, more threatening and though there were no weapons drawn, the threat was still just as terrifying. It wasn't often that I saw Percy angry, even when he was fighting, and I often times forgot that he was incredibly intimidating. I just saw him as my boyfriend who cried at Finding Nemo, sobbed when he'd accidentally hit a bunny while driving and was the worst loser whenever we played any board games.

I forgot that he was also a Hero of Olympus, the son of Poseidon and one of the best sword fighters the camp had ever seen.

The man ahead of us gulped, possibly realising that he was in a bit over his head to try and start a fight with Percy, before backing off with a scowl and a few muttered words about how it wasn't worth it.

Percy leant down, kissing me gently despite the anger that was emanating from his body. His hands were holding onto my hips and when I opened my eyes, I found that he was still glaring out of the window, tracking someone's movement.

"Percy?"

"Good riddance." Percy muttered, before turning to grin down at me as the tension dissipated in a moment. "He's gone."

"Thanks for that, tough guy." Percy hummed, hand rubbing up and down my back as he calmed down. "You alright?"

"I should be asking you that."

"I'm okay." I grinned, before Percy shot me a smile. "You sure you're alright?"

"Promise." He squeezed my hand before our food was called. In the time it took him to get the food and come back, Percy had calmed down significantly and was back to his normal, goofy self. "So, this is what I got you. Did I get it right?"

I opened the bag, grinning at the sight of the food inside.

"Perfect." He beamed, as I leant up to kiss him. He hummed, keeping me close as I interlaced our fingers. "You are the best boyfriend in the world."

He puffed his chest at that, a wide grin on his face as he nodded his head. Grabbing my hand, he swung it between us, before opening the door for me so that we could continue onto the river for our date.

"Hey," I tugged his hand gently as Percy turned, walking backwards to stare at me. "I love you."

His face lit up, smile growing wider and eyes softening until they seemed to turn turquoise. His cheeks flushed red, and I giggled at Percy's reaction.

"I have the best girlfriend in the world." I heard his muttering, laughing, before he pulled me back into his side and kissed me softly. "I love you too."

Hi,

So, this is was going to be done after the tattoo series, but I thought I should probably do the requests before the others ones. This one was requested by Kuro_Hikari18276996 and I hope that this lives up to expectations and stuff. I think this is one of the first times I've written for Percy. I will start getting the requests done, because I've been procrastinating.

Let me know what you think,

Love Li xx
