Alexandra Dawson loved growing up with the anticipation of the summer, it was the only light in her darkness of life - the days she would visit the Kirke manor. But that year was like no other. She adored the tales and legends her mother would tell her before bed and the ones her uncle told her in her stead, so much so that she was compelled to visit the mystical wardrobe for herself.

But she hadn't been warned. No one told the young girl that beyond the oak doors there in fact was the land from all her bedtime stories. But only it wasn't the land that Digory Kirke had expressed his love for. Narnia had changed.

Where Narnians would roam free, they were now cowering in fear.

As soon as her little feet stepped out onto the blankets of Narnian snow she was doomed. It was those vital first steps that left the girl wandering into the paths of the White Witch; eventually leading to the girl being cursed.

Ever since that day there was a hunk of ice within her heart that not even the warmest of fires could melt. That was until he arrived.
