Third Person

"ALRIGHT TRAINERS TIME TO BRING OUT YOUR NEXT POKEMON!" said the referee, "Drapion Stand by for battle" Said Paul as he brought out the Sand Demon Pokémon, Ash figured it's time to give out a few hints on who he was....'ok, here goes nothing' he thought, "Haxourous, I choose you" he said as he brought out the Tusked Dragon type...But it wasn't some Average Haxourous...This one was more massive that the others and was a shiny, the crowds gasped and started chanting even louder. Ash only used a couple of Pokémon to bring him to this stage of the tournament, namely Ninetales, Gengar and Haxourous as of now.

"Drapion Use cross Poison" said Paul, "Dragon Dance and then Dragon Claw" Blue Draconic aura surrounds Haxourous as his Attack and Speed is further boosted, Drapion moved in with his Poisonous Legs, But Haxourous dogged it with ease and landed the dragon claw at point blank range.

"What the??!! How?" Paul asked, Drapion isn't a slow Pokémon, even for its size but to be slowed that the massive dragon, "Dragon dance made Haxourous faster and so he hit Drapion before it could attack Haxourous" answered Ash, "that won't stop us from winning" said Paul, "Let the Pokémon battle the answer that query of yours" aid Ash with a smirk. Drapion use Night Slash said Paul, "Haxourous use Fire Claws" Ash countered, his tactics sinister.

The entire crowd gasped, "finish him" said Ash, Haxourous powerfully charged towards Drapion to attack him, "Drapion ceasefire and use toxic" said Paul, as soon he said that Drapion stopped and fired toxic at Haxourous, which made the now poisoned Shiny dragon to stop its attack, "Are you ok Haxourous?" asked Ash worried for his Pokémon. The Pokémon simply shrugged and growled. "Now use toxic spikes," said Paul, "We are not giving up so easily Haxourous use dragon dance" said Ash, "Drapion use Cross Poison again" Paul commanded as Haxourous set up with dragon dance. Haxourous got damaged severely from Drapion's cross poison and kept taking damage from toxic

"Just give up Anderson" said Paul, "You would be foolish to think that my Pokémon and I would ever do that" said Ash, "have it your way then, Drapion use ice fang", Ash smirks as Paul went in straight for his Dragon, he smirked as Drapion got even closer to Haxourous "fire claws," said Ash.

Drapion got in really close for his Ice Fang but Haxourous was quicker even with the poison effects and hit Drapion with the Fire Claws, "follow with Earthquake" said Ash, "Drapion get up and use leech life" countered Paul frustratedly.

Haxourous shook the ground with a powerful tremor effectively Hurting Drapion cancelling his attack, once the tremors died down, "Finish it with Ice Fang Drapion" said Paul, but alas his last-ditch efforts would not work out, "Haxourous...Hang in there and use Dragon Fire Claw" said Ash moving in sync with Haxourous' action of bringing Draconic energy into one claw and fires the heat of the Wela Volcano on the other.

The entire crowd were stunned

As Drapion was getting close Haxourous did the same moving towards Drapion, both attacks met each other at point blank range with full power, there was an explosion followed by a wave of powerful Aura, the force of the attacks could be felt by the viewers of the battle, but alas, one of them had fallen to the other....

"Drapion is unable to battle so the winner is Haxourous." said the referee, "Great battle Drapion now take a nice long rest" said Paul returning his Pokémon, "You were great Haxourous now take a nice rest, we'll need you again" said Ash, "You are much stronger than I thought Anderson" said Paul, "So are you Paul, Not many can make it that long with Haxourous, at a disadvantage none the less, Fret not we have a whole load of where that came from" said Ash smiling deviously, making Paul slightly worried, Paul knew almost all of Ash's Pokémon, This one was new, so was Ninetales, if he could make Haxourous this strong in a few months of training he could only imagine what battling against his Ace team would feel like, he didn't show his hesitation and smirked back at Ash and said, "Well take it on at full force"

"OK trainers send out your next Pokémon" announced the referee, "Gengar...Spook them" Ash said as the shadow Pokémon took its place, "Alakazam stand by for battle" Paul said as he revealed his choice, "Battle Begin" the ref announced.

As Soon as Gengar entered the battlefield the toxic spikes from earlier had disappeared, "I might not have that Advantage but I aint giving up" Paul said determined, "Alakazam Shadow-Ball" commanded Paul, "You too Gengar" said Ash, the two balls of darkness clash in the centre of the field causing a huge cloud of smoke, this showed the sheer power that the two Pokémon possessed.

"Go on Gengar, rapid Fire" said ash, as Gengar went on with even more vigour, seeing this Paul also did the same, the attacks were going in at full force, some hitting their targets and others not soo much but still causing lots of damage to the two Pokémon.

"Let's switch things up Gengar, use sludge bomb" said Ash, Paul smirked, "Alakazam use psychic and fire back at him" he said,

As the sludge bombs made their way to Alakazam he turned them right the way around now they made their way towards the Ghost-Poison type, "Oh you think that's gonna hurt?" Ash smirked, as the sludge bombs were absorbed by Gengar, Paul was shaken for a second but then felt dump for not remembering that Gengar was a part poison type,

"Argh now Alakazam use Psyshock" said Paul, "Gengar, Dark Pulse," said Ash, Both Pokémon fired their attacks, Dark Pulse won the clash and pushed the Psyshock towards Alakazam, the two attacks made their way towards Alakazam quick, but Paul wasn't faced by it, Ash understood why with his next command, "Teleport" he said, 'Oh no' thought Ash worried.

Alakazam moved away at the last moment effectively dodging the attack, "use Psyshock again" commanded Paul, "Dodge" said Ash, Though Gengar wasn't able to dodge in time and took damage, Ash was now getting slightly frustrated, "Gengar. We can do this... Shadow Ball" he commanded, "Psyshock" commanded Paul, this time the moves collided and caused another load of smog,

But then Paul did something Ash didn't think he would, "Alakazam Return" he said abruptly then added, "Go Gigantamax Alakazam", "So you wanna play that game... Gengar return" said Ash, the crowd roared as he used the band to enlarge the size of Gengar's PokéBall and threw it to reveal the now massive Gengar, [GMax Alakazam pic up top]

"Gengar, use G-max Terror" said Ash, "Alakazam, Max phantasm" said Paul, Both moves caused damage to each other, "Now Gengar use max darkness" said Ash determined to finish this quick, "Max Darkness" said Paul with the same vigour, yet again the moves collided but Gengar was hurt more because the move hit harder, "Gengar finish this....G-Max Terror" Ash commanded yet again, "G-Max Psycho Storm, lets end this" said Paul, turns out, that both Pokémon were equally matched, and tried to stand up even after the attacks hit, but almost instantaneously fell to the ground, going into their original forms.

"OH, WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE.... IT'S A DOUBLE KNOCKOUT!!!!" the commentator shouted, "Both Pokémon are unable to battle." said the referee

Both ash and Paul returned their fallen comrades, the two trainers look at each other and smirk,

"OK you both send out your next Pokémon" said the referee, "Bisharp... Stand by for battle." said Paul while throwing out his PokéBall to reveal Bisharp, "NOW THIS IS AN INTERESTING TWIST LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS MAN AARON HERE AS ONLY EVER USED THREE POKEMON IN THIS TOURNAMENT, LETS SEE WHO HIS FOURTH IS!!" the commentator announced,

"I choose you" was all that Ash said whilst throwing out his PokéBall, the crowds were stunned as a bipedal Yellow furred Pokémon materialized from the ball, "Zeraora, its time" said ash, Zeraora looked back at its trainer and nodded, the entire crowd was still stunned as the Referee started the battle.

"I don't care if you are using a mythical, I will still not give up" said Paul, "That's the spirit, now give me all that you've got" said Ash, "Bisharp use Sword's dance" said Paul, "We'll do the same" said Ash, Both Pokémon set up their attack and speed.

"Night slash" was all that was heard as Bisharp ran quicker than any other Bisharp Ash had ever seen towards Zeraora, "Plasma Shield" Ash commanded in the nick of time, Zeraora protected himself from the night slash and gave Bisharp some damage, "Argh... Bisharp use steel polish and then use Iron head" said Paul, "Then we will hit you with Plasma fists" said Ash, both Pokémon moved towards each other at blistering speeds, their attacks collided, causing a sonic wave, but Bisharp had more sheer force to his attack and inflicted more damage to Zeraora,

Ash smirked, "Oh so you wanna test our speed?" Ash asked rhetorically, "Fire Punch" said Ash, Zeraora charged at once towards Bisharp, "Night Slash" said Paul, The Pokémon kept throwing punches at each other but no one was really able to tell what was happening due to the sheer speed that two Pokémon were going in at, "don't let up" pushed Ash, "Now Zeraora use Drain punch" said Ash, "Oh no, get out of there Bisharp" said Paul, but alas dodging as such speeds was near impossible as if, yet alone against a world Champions Pokémon,

The attack made contact square at Bisharp guts, making him fly backwards towards Paul, "OH no Bisharp are you ok?" asked Paul worriedly, Bisharp nodded as he stood up, "Ok then Bisharp now use shadow claw" said Paul, Bisharp went in all at once leaving no room for Zeraora to dodge, though it didn't cause much damage, it must have hurt a lot, "Plasma fists" commanded Ash, "Ok then, Night Slash with full speed," said Paul. Both Pokémon didn't let up, throwing in punch after punch, a kick or two here and there, "KEEP GOING, DON' T GIVE UP" shouted Ash, "KEEP GOING BISHARP," shouted Paul.

"Let's end this Zeraora" was all that Ash said as the plasma Pokémon ended the match with a single knockout attack to Bisharp's face, making it fall to the grounds with swirly eyes, "Bisharp is unable to battle so the winner is Zeraora." said the referee

"Great job Zeraora." said Ash, "You were excellent Bisharp, now take nice rest." said Paul while returning his Pokémon to his PokéBall

"ALRIGHT FOLKS LOOKS LIKE PAUL IS DOWN TO HIS LAST POKEMON, WHAT DO YOU RECKON HIS LAST POKEMON IS?" asked The Commentator.

"Send out your next Pokémon" said the referee, "Electriwire stand by for battle" said Paul, "Ok, Zeraora let's finish this," said Ash

"OK now battle begin." said the referee, "Zeraora, Sword's dance" said Ash, "Electriwire hit them with earthquake" said Paul, As Zeraora set up again with Sword's dance, Electriwire used a powerful Earthquake, as the earthquake increased in magnitude and made its way towards Zeraora, "Now Zeraora use Earthquake" said Ash, Zeraora jumps up and smashes the ground creating tremors that brought Electriwire to a knee but Electriwire stood up, "Electriwire use Ice Punch" said Paul, "Fire punch" countered Ash, both charged at each other with different element punch, Both punches made contact, causing damage to both the Pokémon. But suddenly, "Electriwire use brick break with the other hand" Commanded Paul, But Ash thought he would do that and said, "Drain Punch" Both Pokémon were going at it without letting up, "Use Protect" said Paul, Zeraora tried attacking more to break the protective barrier that Electriwire had around him, but alas, neither Electriwire nor his shield took damage,

"Strong defence won't get you anywhere" said Ash to Paul, to which he replied, "We'll see about that, Now Electriwire, Lets show them a real earthquake" said Paul, said Electric type removed the shield and created a tremor so strong it threw Zeraora towards Ash.

Worried Ash asked if Zeraora was okay to which he got an affirmative nod, "Another one Electriwire" said Paul, just as fast as the command, another huge tremor was sent towards Zeraora, But it was weaker that the last one, which gave Zeraora an advantage, an advantage that he gladly accepted, "Zeraora, Jump and Quick attack into Plasma Fists" the only things that could be seen where the neon like effects of the plasma fists, Zeraora moves in for a close range attack, Ash saw Paul smirk but he was too late, Electriwire had caught Zeraora, "Brick break then Ice Punch" said Paul, 'Oh no' thought Ash. But before he could do anything, "Electriwire Thunderbolt" said Paul, 'this is going a bit off hand' thought Ash, Zeraora managed to dodge at the right moment, Paul grunted and said, "Ice punch and Thunder punch, keep them going" said Paul,

"Zeraora, we can take him down, Use Plasma Fists and Drain punch" said Ash, this time though Zeraora's superior speed showed Electriwire just why he is mythical. Before Electriwire could even try punching Zeraora had started his onslaught of punches, "Electriwire try to get outta there" shouted Paul, But Zeraora was not planning to stop, while Electriwire couldn't do anything about it, "Finish this Zeraora, Plasma Rush" said Ash, "Wild Rush" said Paul in a ditch effort.

Both Pokémon gave it there all, in their final moves, A beautiful mix of Electricity and Plasma was seen as the attacks collided, Both Pokémon flew away from each other in the sheer recoil of the moves, they somehow managed to stand up, they looked at each other with determination in their eyes, an intense battle of sheer will power, but Alas, one had to fall, in the blink of an eye, Electriwire had fallen to the ground with Swirly eyes, making Zeraora and Ash the winners of the league.

"That....was...insane Anderson" said Paul, in a rare moment where he was showing some emotion, ash smiled at him, the crowds were going insane as the two trainers shook their hands, The competition was finally over but the real event was yet to begin, 'I hope you know what you are going up against Giovanni' thought Ash, as he waved at the crowds waving, he spotted Serena and winked at her, to which she blushed.
