Avalon walked towards Henry looking around as she did.

" Hey, you have the money? " Avalon asked quietly.

Henry turned around and handed it to her.

" I'm even not gonna ask where you got this " Avalon sighed as she grabbed it, before grabbing two vials of her blood and hands then to Henry " Remember, one now, one after " Avalon said firmly.

   Henry nodded nervously.

" Are you sure about this, Henry? " Avalon asked.

" Yes " Henry nodded.

" Do me a favour.......be discreet " Avalon said as she puts the money in her bag before walking away.

Avalon was sitting at her desk in her and hope's shared room doing homework, when there was a knock on the door.

" Come in " Avalon called out.

" Mr Williams, what's up? " Avalon asked as she stood up.

" Mr. Saltzman wants to see you " Dorian said " It's about Henry Benoit ".

Avalon knew she had been caught.

" Is uhh, Mr. Saltzman calling my mom? " Avalon asked.

" That and he thinks your dad should know what you've been up to " Dorian replied.

" Yeah. Good luck finding him " Avalon scoffed.

" Pack your bags, Avalon " Dorian said " You're going home ".

" Is Hope coming? " Avalon asked.

" No, she talked to your mom and Hayley has allowed her to stay here? " Dorian said before walking out.

Avalon sighed knowing she was in big trouble, when her mother arrived.

" What did you do? " Hope asked in a loud voice to her twin as she stormed into the room.

" Nothing " Avalon said.

" Well, mom called saying that Alaric told her you gave your blood to Henry Benoit " Hope snapped.

" Well, you obviously know what i did then " Avalon said as she packed her bags.

" Why would you do that? " Hope asked before realising why her sister did what she did " You wanted to see dad.......".

Avalon stayed silent.

" Why would you want to see him, he's a dick " Hope said bitterly.

" it doesn't matter......so why don't you just go back to you girlfriend and your little friends and leave me alone.....I mean you obviously want to stay here with them rather then come home " Avalon snapped before walking out the room causing hope to sigh.

Avalon was sat outside Alaric's office as she picked at her fingers causing them to bleed, it was a habit she had picked up. Avalon looked up and saw a familiar boy saying goodbye to his friend, it was Roman Sienna she had seen him around school, but had never interacted with him before . He noticed her look and she quickly looked away. Roman then proceeded to walked towards her.

" You going somewhere? " Roman asked as he noticed her bags.

" Home " Avalon answered " I uhh, I got suspended ".

" Avalon Marshall got suspended " Roman said, they looked at each other before he spoke again " Cool ".

Avalon smiled at Roman as he walked away. She then heard someone sigh as they sat next to her. She looked next to her and saw Henry.

" Sorry, I got you in trouble " Henry said sheepishly.

" I said ' be discreet ' " Avalon snapped as she looked at him " What part of jumping out of a tower is discreet? ".

" I had to make sure it would work " Henry said as he looked back at the red head " If I only hurt myself, then I would've just healed ".

" Right. Cause no one's ever died peacefully from sleeping pills " Avalon snapped.

" I'm not a person things go right for " Henry said before asking " You ever seen a werewolf with no pecs, who quotes E.E. Cummings?..........I can already tell I'm getting stronger, you know how good it will be not to have to take crap from anybody? ".

" What-what makes you think that? " Avalon asked " You're a hybrid now. You may be able to event yourself, but they'll only hate you for being different....I don't think you thought this through, Henry ".

" You wouldn't understand " Henry sighed.

" Oh, really? Me? I wouldn't understand? " Avalon scoffed.

" That's different " Henry whispered " None of the students know that you and Hope are Klaus Mikaelson's daughters ".

" I don't know why Lisina told you " Avalon questioned " You and I aren't even friends ".

" Your mom's our alpha. All the Crescent Wolves know " Henry replied.

" And so will everyone at school, when they start asking, how you survived a sawn dive out of the memorial library " Avalon snapped.

" Your dad's not gonna kill me for getting you suspended, is he? " Henry asked worried.

" I wouldn't know " Avalon sighed " He can't bother to be a dad ".

" Can you just yell at me already? " Avalon said as she followed her angry mother into the compound " Seven hours of hostile silence is punishment enough ".

" The whole point of sending you and your sister to that school and calling you both Avalon and Hope Marshall was so that you wouldn't draw attention to yourselves, to keep you both safe " Hayley snapped at her daughter " Why? Why did you do it? What could you have possibly needed to the money for? ".

" That's my business " Avalon said.

" And selling your blood is mine " Hayley snapped " You had no right ".

" You're being a hypocrite. You're the one that taught me ' my body, my choice ' " Avalon snapped back " Well, ' my blood, my choice ' ".

" You are not just anyone, Avalon " Hayley said " Do you even understand, what you have done? ".

" Henry came to me " Avalon said.

" And you should of said no....like your sister did " Hayley said causing Avalon to scoff " Avalon, Henry was already a kid, who was struggling to fit in and now.......he's gonna be one of only three hybrids in the world and seen as a threat to everyone in the city....you have no idea what you've done. You can not create something without taking responsibility for it ".

" What are you going to do? " Avalon snapped " Ground me........a-and lock me up? I'll just whammy myself out, I'm a witch ".

" And I'm your mother.......which means tomorrow, I'm gonna have to clean up the mess you've made. Before it gets worse " Hayley said before storming away.

Avalon sighed.

It was the next day and Avalon was walking down the stairs to the compound as she facetimed with her uncle Kol.

" How's my little ne'er-do-well? " Kol asked.

" I've been better. How's Davina? " Avalon asked smiling. She was rather close with her uncle Kol, a lot more than her other family members.

" My darling wife is goring on papaya right now. You know, Belize is beautiful this time of year, You should visit " Kol smiled at his favourite niece.

" I'd love to, but........I'm grounded " Avalon sighed.

" grounded.....you can't ground a witch, let alone my favourite niece " Kol said.

" That's what I said " Avalon smiled " Mom didn't think it was very funny ".

" Well, I'm sure it will all blow over by Mardi Gras " Kol reassured.

" I......I didn't think, it was such a big deal at the time " Avalon said solemnly " But now that I've stirred up so much trouble, I-I feel kinda bad ".

" Darling, you can't get your knickers in a knot every time " Kol said " You have a little kerfuffle, you'll never have a moment of pleasure.....And I for one, thought you showed some real entrepreneurial spirt ".

" Yep, that's me " Avalon laughed " Your friendly, neighbourhood blood dealer ".

" I'm sure, you've noticed by now " Kol said " The best people are the black sheep ".

" Like you? " Avalon commented.

" Exactly " Kol laughed.

" Have you seen my dad recently? " Avalon asked sheepishly.

" Well, thankfully for you, no " Kol said " But don't worry. Sooner or later, something will blow up in New Orleans........some crisis or other always brings us back ".

" Okay " Avalon nodded.

Avalon walked into her room as she puts her phone in her jean pocket to see her mom holding up a passport and she knew, she had been caught.

" Going somewhere? Is that, what you needed the money for? " Hayley asked.

" Now, you're rummaging in my room? " Avalon sighed annoyed as she snatched the passport from her mother's hand.

" For laundry " Hayley said before asking " Where were you going? ".

" I met a guy online " Avalon said lying through her teeth " And he's in a band and lives in London. He says he's 25, but he seems older ".

Hayley looked at her daughter " You wanted to see your dad " Hayley said figuring out why she needed the money.

" I know, it's stupid " Avalon said as she sat on her bed as Hayley joined " He obviously doesn't care, Hope doesn't care whether he's in our lives or not, but I-I just thought that maybe if we were in the same place for even a little while.......".

" It's not stupid......he loves you......" Hayley said softly " And your sister, but he knows that being near you puts you in danger........and Hope understands that two "

" A phone call wouldn't " Avalon replied causing Hayley sighed.

" Look, I........I really......hope one day that you'll all talk in person. I do " Hayley said as she stroked Avalon's black hair " But until then, just.......try not to judge him too harshly ".

" So..........I can't judge my dead beat dad, but you can judge me? " Avalon asked.

" I don't judge you, I judge your actions....... " Hayley said ".........I'm you're mom.....I love you and I would forgive you for anything. But that's not.........that's not a blank check for bad behaviour ".

" I did one thing " Avalon sighed going to speak again but stopped when they heard someone yell out.

" Avalon.......Avalon ".

Hayley and Avalon run out and see Henry kneeling in the compound with a bloody face holding a dead woman in his arms.

" Avalon........I...I made a mistake " Henry uttered.

Avalon's breathing got heavier as Hayley looked at her.

Avalon had taken Henry to her room to clean up as her mom and josh dealt with the vampires.

" I didn't even know that girl " Henry cried.

" I can't hear " Avalon snapped.

" She just bumped into me and I-I just......I got so angry " Henry cried as he paced " They-they want.......they want to kill me ".

" Henry, relax for gods sake " Avalon said as she walked over to him " Just.......feel better ".

Henry's heavy breathing relaxed as he sat on Avalon's bed.

" Okay.........that's-that's weird " Henry said " You......you said ' feel better ' and I actually feel better ".

" Because my blood made you a hybrid, so..........you're sired to me " Avalon explained.

" I have to do what you say? " Henry asked.

" Pretty much, but don't worry, I......I believe in personal autonomy " Avalon smiled " But for now, stay here".

She smiled before walking out of the room.

Avalon stood in front of the fountain in the compound, worried about her mom as she hadn't been seen in a while.

" Someone found this in the street " Freya said as she walked over to Avalon, showing her Hayley's shattered phone.

Avalon sighed looking at Freya as she took it. Suddenly the phone rang and Avalon looked at the caller ID and saw that it was her dad. She answered and put the phone to her ear.

" Dad? " Avalon uttered causing klaus to stop in his tracks not expecting to hear his daughter's voice.

" I....I was looking for your mother? " Klaus asked sheepishly.

" Yeah, so are we? " Avalon said " Uhh.....I don't know, where she is........she's missing ".

" I'm on my way ' Klaus said before hanging up the phone.

Avalon let out a breath.
