Part of Ivy wanted nothing more than to stand up and move around, to be able to do something, to not feel so useless, but she simply couldn't. Multiple days had passed, she would estimate about five, many events had taken place that she wasn't capable of bringing herself to watch or even bother to care about. She had overheard her group talking about the return of Andrea and her entire body felt weak. She could remember Andrea calling it for them to stop but nothing was done, not only was nothing done but she stayed. She never tried to come back until after that. Carl had come into the room at one point to discuss the appearance of the blonde woman but all Ivy could feel was blind rage, though she couldn't seem to get herself up. Something just wouldn't let her. She knew her father had gone to see the governor and she also wished that he would have killed him right then and there, but also she knew why he didn't.

Everything pained her, every time she moved or even attempted to look at her own skin. She couldn't even bring herself to do that anymore because every time she did, she felt disgusted with herself. She didn't know much but she did know that she needed a shower. She wanted to feel clean, she needed to feel that way. She looked out of the door and listened for anything, but all she heard was silence. It was extremely dark and she knew she would have to use her memory as a guide but she needed to be outside, she needed to be able to move, to stretch her legs, to feel anything other than pain. If that other thing was freezing cold water, so be it.

With the little bit of motivation that she had, she swung the thin blanket off her body and tossed her feet over to the side of the bed, wincing as she did. Ivy looked down and sighed out as she noticed that the bruises were darker than that she remembered. So dark that she could see them with little to no lighting. Silently, she tiptoed towards her door and using her hands as a guide, she walked down the concrete steps and slowly moved until she found the door to outside, which she had seemed to be doing a lot of now. The sound of crickets chirping and the cool breeze brought immediate relief and as her eyes landed on the barrel of water, she took off.

Ivy ran for the bucket of water and as the palms of her hands touched the cool liquid, she cried out. Using the white tank top she had underneath her shirt, she drenched the cloth and began rubbing it along her fair skin, focusing on the feeling of dirt and attempting to scrub it off of her, though it never went away. She began to scrub at her skin's barrier and her arms began to grow extremely sensitive to the touch of the cloth, leaving behind a burning sensation with every swipe.

It wouldn't go away, the feeling of that man wouldn't leave her mind or her body alone. Though he was gone, he would never truly be gone. She wasn't ready to talk about it with anyone, she wasn't exactly ready to talk about it with herself either. She couldn't bring herself to admit to what had happened even though she knew it did. She thought about what she had seen with Lori and Shane and how the fear she felt that night was one of the worst things she thought she could ever experience. She was wrong.

She let out a cry as she realized that nothing she was doing was going to work, she couldn't do anything at all. She was completely helpless. She had begun to think that the world was against her, that everything she knew was a lie and that feeling that she was feeling would never be lifted or it would never leave but the familiar bark lifted a small piece of weight off of her chest.

Ivy turned quickly to reveal the white dog that seemed a lot bigger now than from before but still seemed so known to her. The puppy that she had found in the woods that day, the puppy that tried his very best to save her. It was dark but the moon and the sky allowed for some light and Ivy could see that his side was covered in dry blood that seemed to be days old.

Gently, she knelt down to the ground and held her hand out as Chaos came leaping for her. The girl let out a light laugh as she buried her face in the fur of the dog's neck. She looked down at his paws that seemed to be huge and though he was only a puppy, he had already grown an extreme amount since the last time she had seen him. His paws were huge and his fur seemed thicker, he looked a bit skinny but what really could you expect for a dog in these conditions?

She sat there with this puppy in her arms and felt safer than she had in a long time. Part of her thought that Chaos was what she needed, a piece of her needed someone that she didn't have to talk to. Chaos wouldn't badger her and beg her to give him answers, he wouldn't yell at her or betray her, he wouldn't make her feel bad and the best part was that he wouldn't ask her what happened in those few days she was in Woodbury.

"Come on." Ivy whispered to Chaos as she allowed him to enter the building before herself. He trotted inside and Ivy allied for the door to close gently before hearing the babble of a baby and choosing to ignore it. An odd pain fluttered through her body as Judith let out a cry, she still chose to ignore the baby as she climbed up the steps with Chaos at her side. She didn't bother being careful with her steps, she really didn't care if she woke anyone up and she didn't care if anyone got mad either. She just wanted to get to her cell.

As she got closer to the dark cell on the second floor that she shared with only herself, she heard Chaos's footsteps stop and as they did, so did her heart. She continued walking forward in slow steps as a low growl came from the dog's throat. Ivy took one more step and felt her foot hit something before both her and the mysterious thing let out a loud gasp. Ivy jumped over and grabbed the metal bars from the cell before slamming it shut, fear running through her body as the cold metal bars sent chills through her arms, causing the hair on them to stand straight up. She held her breath as she heard shuffling growing closer to her.

The feeling of the person next to her felt all too familiar, it felt good but terrifying at the same time. Amazing but horrible, so warm and yet so cold as he breathed out.

"Why are you by my cell?" Ivy whispered as she took a small step back.

"To make sure that you're okay." He responded.

"I don't want you to do that." Ivy sighed.

"Please?" Liam begged.

"Go away." She demanded. "Now." She didn't know what to feel. Part of her wanted to let him stay but there was something unsettling about it. She felt like if she allowed him to stay, he'd hurt her. She didn't know who she could or couldn't trust. She didn't know who was a goo person and who wasn't and she was too terrified to risk it. Those three days in Woodbury were the worst days of her life and she remembered every single detail, every word anyone spoke, every breath that was taken, every thought she had, and every pain she felt. The bruises were still on her body and Liam was terrifying to her. She didn't know how someone so kind could be so scary, he just was.

"Okay." He whispered. She felt one last breath before hearing the shuffling of footsteps and then nothing. A tinge of relief, fear, and sadness ran through her before laying in bed and feeling the warm fur of Chaos next to her. She buried her face into his neck and allowed sleep to take over her.

The growl of Chaos snapped Ivy awake and she sat straight up. She heard muffled noises that she couldn't recognize that seemed oddly familiar. She jumped up and grabbed her sword that Michonne had given to her and pushed against the cell door. Chaos ran to her side and as she looked down from the balcony, gunshots began ringing repeatedly and Ivy dropped down before letting out a scream. "Dad!" She yelled out. Almost as if on cue, everyone ran out from their cells, Rick looked up at his daughter and then over to his son in genuine curiosity and fear as everyone grabbed whatever weapon they could. Ivy scanned the room for Michonne who she couldn't seem to find before running down the stairs, remaining crouched as the shots continued to fire. She gripped the sword in her hand and cried out. "Ivy, get back to the cell! Now!" Rick yelled as he ran out. Glenn and Maggie followed behind him in heavy gear that they had found.

Ivy looked between her father and Chaos and turned around. The lack of wanting to help made her question herself. She used to argue and fight her father to be able to go out and help but now, she just didn't want to. She ran back up the stairs and found her way int her cell before jumping onto her bed. Ivy waited for the feeling of uselessness to reach her but it never came. She felt nothing but anger.

She thought she was alone until Liam, Oliver, and Caleb rushed into the room with weapons in each of their hands and Ivy jumped back. She wanted to speak but she couldn't. Oliver moved forwards and Ivy's eyes widened. Liam noticed and grabbed the corner of her shirt before pulling his younger brother and raising his arm. "We're staying right here, we're not moving. Rick told us to come in here and be with you. He doesn't want Oliver out there because he thinks he's too young and he doesn't really trust Caleb. Don't worry."

Ivy nodded and Chaos sat on the floor at her feet, looking up at the three boys with dominant eyes. "Where's Carl?" Ivy asked.

"He and Hershel went out before this...they're in the woods." Caleb answered.

"What?!" Ivy asked.

"They'll be okay." Liam assured, avoiding eye contact with Ivy which made her feel slightly uncomfortable.

"Who's shooting at us?" Ivy asked.

"When did you get that dog?" Oliver asked, avoiding the question. "He's so cute." The young boy kneeled down and called for Chaos who never moved, not until Ivy gently poked him with her foot. Chaos ran forward and allowed for Oliver to fall on the floor and ruffle his fur.

"Who's shooting at us?" Ivy asked again. Liam ignored her and Caleb looked between the two with an awkward look. "My dad." He answered.

She felt her chest begin to cave in as she stood, gripping her sword as she moved swiftly towards the door. Caleb jumped in front of her and stood face to face with Ivy. "No." He whispered.

"Move." She demanded.

"No." He whispered again.

"Get the hell out of my way." Ivy stared him down as she tried to move, Caleb was quicker. He shafted his body to block her and as she reached forward, Caleb gently reached his arm out and gripped hers, causing her to flinch before pulling away. She could see the immediate regret on his face as he pulled his hand away but he never moved.

"Do not touch me." She demanded as she stepped past. Liam moved and immediately, Ivy stopped. Caleb was nothing to her, she felt a sense of gratitude towards him that she didn't feel with anyone else, he was also only a couple inches taller than she was and quite skinny so she saw no real threat. Liam was a different story. She looked around at her surroundings and saw nothing but men. Tension built up in the room and Ivy could feel the different emotions coming from each person.

Though, as Liam stood in front of her, looking down at her with nothing but an adamant face, she felt fear. "Sit down." He demanded. She hunkered down slightly and took a step back. Chaos must have felt this because a low growl came from his body and Ivy sat on the bed, curled up. She looked over at Liam who seemed to not have a single look of pity or anything on his face.

"Why is no one finding Carl?" She asked.

"He'll be fine." Liam said adamantly once again.

Ivy stopped talking as she looked between the three with a feeling of embarrassment on her face. She didn't know why but she felt so small, she felt like nothing.

Liam guarded the door with a gun in his arms, Caleb stood in the corner with his arms crossed, and Oliver rolled on the floor with Chaos. No one looked intimidating other than Liam to her. He had never really been other than gentle with her but recently, he just seemed angry. Ivy could hear muffled screaming coming from outside and with the click of her tongue, Chaos jumped up on top of the bed before nesting next to her. Oliver stood and dusted the fur from his black jeans and leaned against the wall.

The gunshots had gone away completely and the boys had left the room and Ivy had been left alone. She didn't bother going out because she knew all she would get were looks of sadness and pity and that wasn't what she wanted. She didn't know exactly what it was that she did want but it wasn't that.

The hinges of the cell door creaking snapped Ivy's attention away from her own thoughts and she jumped up at the sight of her brother whom she ran too quicker than she thought she did. She wrapped her arms around him and dropped to her knees as his arms gently held her.

"Are you okay?" She asked with a sigh as she placed both her hands on either side of his face. "What happened out there?" She asked gently as she saw a certain look in his eyes that she had only seen in her father's and recently Liam's.

She got no answer from the boy. "Carl?" She asked gently as she pulled away from him. She didn't want to badger him because she knew what that was like and she had done everything in her power to avoid that. She saw it in his eyes though, the same look she had seen in Liam's as he entered the room where she was at Woodbury before he was pulled away, one that she couldn't exactly pinpoint.

"I did what I had to do." Carl answered.

"Okay..." Ivy hesitated. "What was that?" Ivy asked, her voice riddled with curiosity.

Carl shook his head lightly and Ivy nodded, part of her knew what it was, she knew what he meant. Although she had never had to kill a human being, she knew that there were times that it was necessary but from the look of the situation, she didn't know if it was necessary. She decided to take his word on it though.

Distant chatter caused Ivy's attention to turn from Carl to the cell door before they stood in unison. "What is that?" She asked. The voices didn't seem too familiar to her. Chaos ran to her side and Ivy ran behind Carl as the two flew down the concrete steps and the sight of people that Ivy didn't recognize at first caught her off guard. She looked around at the crowd and saw a face that seemed all too familiar, the other, then another. Her stomach began to churn as the night at Woodbury began circling through her mind and the faces of these people flashed in with it.

"What the hell?" She sighed as she took a step up, trying to keep as much distance with herself and these people. "What the hell?" She repeated. Liam and Oliver arose from the corner and the look on Liam's face said enough.

"What the hell are they doing here?" He yelled out.

All eyes turned to him and Ivy watched as the ones that landed on her softened. She watched their once dark and ravenous eyes turn light and sad as they saw her. She couldn't speak, she couldn't breathe. The question as to why her father would allow these people inside of the prison was one she couldn't find an answer to.

"No." Ivy whispered. She felt Chaos at her legs and Liam moved forward and towards Daryl and Rick until he stood in front of them. Ivy waited for her father to look at her but he never did.

"What the hell is this?" Ivy heard him ask but the anger in her veins took over as she stepped forward and pushed Liam out of the way to stand face to face with Rick.

"Why are they here?" She asked angrily.

"He's gone, we couldn't find him. We looked. He left his people to die, he left them. What kind of a man would I be if I left them the same way he did?" Rick asked.

"They sat there and watched and cheered and whistled at me?" Ivy felt betrayed.

"What kind of a man would I be if I did to them what the governor did to them?" Rick asked once more.

"I want them in a different cell block. I want them away from me. I don't care who they are and I don't feel bad for a single one of them. They stay in a different cell block or I will leave this prison and I will never come back." Ivy spat before turning and walking back up to her cell feeling not only betrayed but hurt.
