โ•ฐ PROLOGUE โ•ฎ

It's about a mere three o'clock in the morning, and someone is definitely frying up some bacon. Half-asleep, and half hazed out her mind, JENNY ANDERSON props up onto her exposed elbows, and peer through the tiny crack in the door, brows furrowed with normal morning disorientation, and confusion. Once it registers that there isn't indeed a fire, and the smell is, in fact, bacon, she toss the covers back and wiggle her pastel pink bunny slippers on, yawning in the process. She figures she might as well have some before it's completely gone; she can confirm that her female soulmate is such a bacon vulture. Jenny's surprisingly light foots ring out softly as she begins to makes her long decent down their sliver spiral staircases that feeds into there living room. It's by some big miracle that she doesn't mange to trip perusal.

Once she reach her desired location of her kitchen, she notices that Sabrina is wide awake, standing at the stove with her long golden locks pulled into a half assed messy bun. She's talking to a burly figure that's sitting at the counter, and it takes her a brief moment for her eyes to adjust; she gasp in surprise when she finally see who it is, and instantly runs to them.

"Daddy!" Jenny shouts exuberantly, and he gladly opens his arms for his slightly younger soulmate. Jenny, in all her excitement, throws her arms around his neck as she manages to scramble up onto his lap, suddenly not feeling the least bit tired at all. "Oh my god, Tom!" she loving cries, heart soaring with joy. "Oh, you're here, you're really back, I'm so happy to see you!" After squeezing the air out of him, she grab him by the collar and plant a smooch on his lips.

"Mmfโ€”hey, Baby Girl,"ย  Tom laughs against her soft pale pink lips, and his big hands are rubbing at her back. "I'm happy to see you both too." He agreed, which earned a hum of agreement from Sabrina. When she pulls away to look at him, she straddle his waist, fingers playing with chestnut silky curlers that hang loose near the nape of his neck. Jenny knows her cheeks will hurt tomorrow from how hard she smiling, but that's all irrelevant. Tom is home. He's here, holding her, grinning back at her like this is precisely how he wanted their reunion to go. He looks absolutely tired after a long week on the opposite side of the world finishing filing. Jenny want nothing more than to crawl into bed with both of them, and cuddle the shit out of Tom all night then wake up still snuggled in his arms.

"If you two lovebirds are done staring into each other's eyes," Sabrina is drawling to her right, "Eat up or else I'm scarfing it down myself."

Sabrina's erratic sleeping schedule means she's often up at odd hours of the night, so she clearly would have no problem staying true to her word. So, the duo moved onto the stools that sit in front of the kitchen counter. Jenny sits next to Tom left side as Sabrina slides over their two plates of steaming hot eggs, and bacon. Jenny's mouth waters evenย  though she had way too much pizza for dinner. Which is less then healthy, but she could care less at this point.

Sabrina strolls around the island to stand between her two gorgeous soulmates and says pointedly, "Kiss the cook."

So, Jenny turns her head and pecked her on the lips, then Tom does the same exact thing. Sabrina beams, satisfied with her kisses, and returns to the stove to presumably to make more bacon for herself. Jenny notes how Sabrina ass looks in her new pair of black sweatpants, and she glances back at Tom, who is also admiring it as well. Jenny makes eye contact, which is a colossal mistake, and nearly chokes on a piece of bacon as she attempt to control her own laughter.

"What's so funny?" Sabrina asks innocently, quickly fetching her soulmate a glass of water. Tom's giggling, too, mostly because it's so late and he's damn sleep-deprived.

"Nothing," she coughs after taking sip of her water. "I'm fine." she nudges Tom's knee so that Sabrina won't see. Tom nudges her back, fixing his eyes on his plate.

Sabrina narrows her gaze suspiciously, but doesn't press at the subject. This time it's Jenny who studies her own food so that she won't be tempted to watch Sabrina walk off again; Tom is visibly shaking as he's trying not to laugh out loud. He'll just dissolve into a deluded fit of giggles if provoked. As much as she loves when that happens, it'll cause a chain reaction, and then nobody is going to bedโ€”thus, no cuddles for her.

Jenny change the subject by asking what they feel like doing tomorrow. Sabrina snickers, and is mere seconds away from suggesting exactly what she wants to do, which is no doubtably something very vulgar and filthy in every sense of the word, when Tom sighs almost melodramatically, "I just want to sleep. I'm sure you two are probably sick of each other by now, but any and all reunion shenanigans will have to wait for a little bit later. I'm so sorry, 'Brina."

Scowling darkly, Sabrina wordlessly flicks a piece of bacon at Tom's face. Which makes Tom retaliate by tossing a piece of egg at her, but she catches it skillfully in her mouth. Tom pouts in utter defeat. All the while Jenny is watching them lovingly. This is how life, no matter what time of day it is, now or never, is supposed to be.
