CHAPTER TWO:
TRAINING SESSION

OLIVIA WOKE UP THE next day at seven a.m like she usually did. She took a showerโ€•๏ธŽ even though she was going to have to take another one after trainingโ€•๏ธŽand got dressed in a plain black shirt that was lose on her body as well as black yoga pants that showed her curves perfectly. She put her hair in a half up-do, looking at herself for a moment before deciding to take it down once again.ย  She slipped into her black shoes and with a hesitant huff, walked out of her room and down to the training area. She was going to stretch as well as ready herself to train the Romanoff woman, but when she stepped into the training room, she stopped dead in her tracks.

Natasha Romanoff stood there at the punching bag, punching it and kicking it with little to no effort whilst not breaking a sweat. Olivia crossed her arms over her chest, her eyes narrowed at the woman that she had grown a strong hatred for over night. After she had dramatically left the scene, Clint had followed her and she demanded the file on the woman before she would even think about training her, and so he gave it to herโ€•๏ธŽalthough hesitantlyโ€•๏ธŽ and Olivia was up for hours on end reading through every single part of it that she could.

ย  ย ย  "I must say, Miss Romanova, that you have some very vile and vicious kills that are inside of your file." Olivia finally decided to speak up after standing there for five minutes, and for once Natasha hadn't noticed her. The redhead caught the punching bag, holding it steady as Olivia continued forward. "How messed up are you really? Because I truly am curious?"

Olivia knew that her words weren't fair, she knew that she was being a bitch and she was messing with an assassin that could no doubt kill her within the blink of any eye, but Olivia was a little messed up too. And she had trust issues, and she was seeing how far she could go before the Romanoff woman would break. She had memorized the woman's file from her birth date to every single kill that was in the file down to the most gruesome description.

Natasha turned to look at the other woman, no emotion on her face. But for some reason, she had a feeling that the woman in front of her was going to break that blank exterior that she had put upโ€•๏ธŽthough she was trying to ease herself into being allowed to show emotions. There wasn't a doubt in the Red Room assassin's mind that the woman in front of her was dangerously beautiful. But there was something about her that wasn't fully human, and Natasha couldn't quite decipher what is was.

ย  ย ย  "As much as I admire your staring, Natalia, I do believe we should start our training." Olivia smirked walking past the woman and going over to the mats. Had Natasha really been staring? She hadn't had she? Natasha blinked before following the woman closely.

ย  ย ย  "I go by Natasha now." Natasha tried, taking her place in front of the woman.

ย  ย ย  "Well, I prefer calling people by their real names." Olivia said with a sarcastic smile. "Natalia Alianovna Romanova. It is quite a mouthful to say, but I must say I do enjoy watching that flicker of pain rush through your eyes, though you try very hard to conceal it."

And just like that, Natasha suddenly felt unnerved. The fact that Olivia could decipher all of the emotion that wasn't being shown anywhere in her bodyโ€•๏ธŽeven if it was for a millisecond, no normal human would be able to catch itโ€•๏ธŽfrightened her for some unknown reason. Just like that, Olivia Jade knew how to get under the Russian Assassin's skin. This made the wolf smirk.

ย  ย ย  "Am I making you uncomfortable, Natalia?" Olivia asked, cocking her head to the side. Natasha's jaw clenched for a split second at the use of her Russian name before she relaxed her features once more.

ย  ย ย  "Not at all."

ย  ย ย  "Well, since you're new to this form of fighting and all, I have to take the time and show you what to do and what not to do. First, don't kill people when training with them. Second, you will be watched for the next couple weeks if not months to make sure are trustworthy, and are good enough to go out on missions. Seeing as I'm your trainer and one of the best agents here next to Clint Barton, if I do not find you trust worthy or compatible enough to go on missions, you will either be locked away in one of our very beautifully designed cellsโ€•๏ธŽor if Fury allows me I might just kill you for everything you've doneโ€•๏ธŽor you will be kept under surveillance until you seem fit enough to go under missions.

ย  ย ย  "You are not to do something without informing either me or Clint Barton, and when you aren't in here training, you are in your room which should have been provided to you last night. You cannot roam free around the base by yourself until you are deemed trustworthy. Did you catch all that or do you want to torture me and make me repeat all of that all over again?"

ย  ย ย  "I understand." Natasha nodded her head.

ย  ย ย  Olivia gave her another sarcastic smile. "Good. Now, let's get to work shall we?" Both of them readied themselves on the mat. "I want to be able to see your skill set so I know whether or not we need to improve you on something or not." Natasha nodded her head again, and just like that the two went against it each other and the first round took a total of thirty minutes until finally, Olivia was pinned to the ground. Natasha hovered over her, her hands pinning down Olivia's arms and her knees pinning down her legs.

ย  ย ย  Olivia couldn't help but flirt slightly. She smirked and her eyes went up to meet Natasha's green ones. "I must say, if this were different circumstances I would totally be turned on right now." Immediately Natasha jumped away from her and Olivia couldn't help the amused laugh that escaped her lips before she stood up.

ย  ย ย  "Are you going to continue laughing, or are we going to go again?" Natasha asked, slowly getting fed up with the brunette's antics. Olivia's smirk seemed to widen.

ย  ย ย  "Feisty. My favorite thing in women." With that Natasha lunged at her again and Olivia swiftly dodged her attack. She ducked under Natasha's swings before kicking the woman, and making her move back slightly before catching her balance again and grabbing Olivia's arm, flipping her over her back but Olivia quickly caught herself and turned in mid air so that when she landed Natasha was pinned to her body, Olivia's arm against her throat and her other arm holding tightly onto Natasha's arms to keep her from breaking free.

ย  ย ย  Olivia's mouth came right up to Natasha ear and Natasha closed her eyes when she felt Olivia's breath on her neck. "I am curious, Natalia. Was this how you were when you destroyed that children's ward? When you killed hundreds of innocent people just so that you could make one simple killing look like an accident? Were you feisty like this? Did you show your anger when you did it? Or were you emotionless as you watched with your own to eyes as that hospital and the people inside burned to a crisp?"

Natasha winced at the memory. It was one of her missions that she regretted the most, and she hated it that Olivia brought it up. She clenched her jaw, forcing her eyes open before she threw her head back, knocking it into Olivia's. Olivia's arms loosened around the red head and she quickly tore herself from Olivia's grasp before she turned around and used the slight distraction to kick Olivia's feet out from under her. The woman fell to the ground and Natasha hadn't even realized she had grabbed a knife and pinned the woman down, placing the metal to her throat.

ย  ย ย  "You have no right to bring that up." Natasha snarled.

ย  ย ย  "Don't I?" Olivia snarled back, not at all bothered by the knife.

ย  ย ย  "I didn't know any better." Natasha's voice was lower now as she spoke, the guilt seeping through her words. But Olivia didn't care.

ย  ย ย  "How long have you been telling that bullshit lie? It won't work on me sweetheart. Sure, you didn't have a choice when you were younger, but you had a choice the older you got. And yet, you still stayed with the Red Room, and the KGB, and the soviets, and you still chose to kill several thousands of innocent people. So forgive me, but I do believe I get to bring that up. You're here because you want my trust, but you are no where close to getting it with a knife against my throat." Olivia snarled out. Her eyes then glowed blue as she stared at Natasha. Natasha's eyes widened and she quickly pulled away, throwing the knife out of her reach as she looked at Olivia who stood up, her electric blue eyes yet to fade.

ย  ย ย  "What happened to you?" Natasha whispered before asking a follow up question. "What are you?"

ย  ย ย  Olivia took a few steps forward until she was right in Natasha's face. "Someone you don't want to get on the wrong side of." She snarled before the blue faded from her eyes. Olivia turned on her heel and started towards the exit. "Trainings done for the day. You'll have Clint tomorrow." With that Olivia walked out, and Natasha watched her leave and a sense of guilt and sorrow started to fill her stomach. What had happened to Olivia that she seemed to be trying so hard to control? Maybe Natasha wasn't the only one with a bad past. Maybe there was something that had happened to Olivia, and Natasha wanted to know what it was. But first, she had to build a bond with the girl. She had to prove herself. And that became Natasha's mission; to become friends with the very difficult and stubborn Agent Jade.
