━︎━︎━︎━︎𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 beside Clint, a small smile on her face as she talked with the man. Luckily for Olivia, Clint was doing just fine with Dr. Cho rebuilding all of his tissue with some kind of fancy machine that Olivia had never heard of or planned to look at it again. Now, she stood in her and Natasha's shared room, her lips pursed as she tried to decide what she was going to wear for Tony's party―︎hell, she had yet to decide if she even wanted to go to the party. She wasn't a fan of big crowded spaces. This was Tony Stark's party, everyone in the world was going to be there, and she wasn't ready for that.

Natasha was already at the party, the twins were sleeping peacefully in their room with Olivia promising to wake them up for the after party, though she was tempted to break that promise, knowing that the group of them were going to be drinking. She shoved through the few dresses she had, finally deciding to pull on a blue cocktail dress that hugged her body perfectly, going off the shoulders slightly with the neckline decorated in lace. She curled her hair, putting on blue heels that matched before sighing and nodding. Here goes nothing.

She poked her head through the door of the twins bedroom, checking to make sure they were still sleeping before softly closing the door and making her way out of the room and towards the party. When she arrived, it was thriving. People were everywhere, music was playing, she didn't know how her daughters could sleep through it. Her eyes scanned the party, a small smile pulling on her lips when she spotted Sam talking with Steve. She made her way over to the two, hoping not to disrupt their conversation.

"Well, if it isn't the wolf-girl." Sam commented, a smile on his face as he took a sip of his drink.

"Sam," Olivia greeted, walking over to them. The two exchanged a hug with one another before Olivia pulled back. "How've you been?"

"Good, good. Heard you got yourself a handful."

Her smile widened when he mentioned the twins. "I do indeed. The twins. But truly, they're angels. Ivory may be a little more on the devil side but she doesn't mean it in a harmful way. It's just who she is." Olivia sighed. "After everything they went through, it's a miracle they recovered so well."

"How's the search been going on your end?" Sam asked. Olivia knew he was talking about Bucky and how her sister had left to look for him. She looked at him for a few moments, sighing as she shook her head.

"I haven't heard anything from her, minus the occasional check in to let me know that she's alright." Her attention turned towards Steve, watching as he nodded towards the two with a small smile before walking away and towards the bar where Natasha was. Olivia watched him go before looking back over at Sam. "It's impacting him more than he lets on."

Sam nodded. "You'll watch after him for me?"

Olivia nudged his side slightly. "Of course."

     "I'll see you around, Liv."

"Take care, Sam." Olivia nodded before they went their separate ways. Olivia made her way down the steps, watching as Steve talked with Natasha before standing up and making his way over to Thor. Olivia allowed herself to take a seat in front of the redhaired woman, looking her up and down before smirking slightly. "Well, don't you look all dressed up. You should do it more often."

"You don't look to bad yourself," Natasha replied. She started pouring Olivia a drink, keeping focused on making it as she continued the conversation with her girlfriend. "You're really gonna let them come to the after party? Do you think that that's such a good idea?" She glanced up from the drink as she finished fixing it, her eyes met Olivia's as she slid the alcoholic beverage over to the brunette. Olivia took the drink in her grasp, taking a sip for it before placing the glass back down on the counter and crossing her arms over her chest as a sigh fell from her lips.

Olivia shook her head before shrugging. "I don't know. What I do know is that I made a promise to them, and I don't like breaking promises. That's not really my thing." She turned her head, eyes dancing over the people that were at the party before turning back towards Natasha. "It was either the after party or this party, and I think we can both agree that them being here would not be a good thing." Natasha nodded her head in agreement. "What do you think? They haven't seen us for a couple of days, it'd be nice to spend time with them, even if it is around the others."

Natasha couldn't help but to agree with that. There was one thing that Natasha hadn't been allowed to want, and that was children. The Red Room had completely ripped that opportunity from her grasp, and now here she was. She had an amazing girlfriend that could shift into a wolf, said girlfriend who found two little girls that were being tortured and taking them under her wing. Natasha would forever admire Olivia for how brave she was, she was happy she got to experience this already wonderful human being turn into an amazing mother.

A small smile formed on her lips as she shrugged her shoulders. "I don't see the harm in it." Olivia couldn't help but smile in response.

As guest started to leave, Olivia had went upstairs to quickly change back into her regular clothes before waking the twins to see if they still wanted to come to the after party. She'd never seen them jump up so fast. With one twin laying on her lap and the other leaning against Natasha, the group of remaining people sat in the middle of the room. All that was left was Tony, Steve, Bruce, Clint, Maria, Rhodey, Thor, and Dr. Cho.

When Thor talked about Mjölnir, Clint―︎who was twirling drumsticks between his fingers―︎was shaking his head in denial. "But it's a trick."

"No, no, it's much more than that." Thor assured him.

"Ah, whosoever be he worthy shall haveth the power." He mocked, making the twins chuckle in amusement. "Whatever, man! It's a trick."

"Please, be my guest." Thor held his hand out towards his hammer that was firmly sat on the glass table that was covered with empty Chinese boxes from where they had ordered food.

Clint looked around to see everyone staring at him expectantly. "Really?"

     "Yeah," Tony hummed. Clint stood.

"Oh, this is going to be beautiful," Rhodey commented.

"Clint, you've had a tough week. We won't hold it against you if you can't get it up."

They all laughed as Clint came to a stop beside of the weapon. He shook his head. "You know I've seen this before, right?" He tried, pulling at the hammer only to let out a grunt as he let go. He laughed. "I still don't know how you do it!"

"Smell the silent judgement?" Tony asked.

Clint held his hand out towards him. "Please, Stark, by all means."

Tony stood up and Olivia rolled her eyes. He tried, failed. Pulled Rhodey up with him, together they both failed. Followed after Bruce. Steve then went, and Olivia could ear the hammer squeak against the table, she smirked slightly when he let go. The twins even gave it a try and were disappointed to say the least. And when Olivia and Natasha were asked, they both had the same answer: "That's not a question I need answered."

"All difference to the Man Who Wouldn't Be King, but it's rigged." Tony argued.

"You bet your ass." Clint agreed, patting him on the shoulder.

"Steve, he said a bad language word." Maria pointed.

"Did you tell everyone about that?" Steve sighed as Olivia chuckled.

Tony ignored him. "The handle's imprinted, right? Like a security code. 'Whosoever is carrying Thor's fingerprints' is, I think, the literal translation."

"Yes." Thor stood up from the couch. "It's a very, very interesting theory. I have a simpler one." He grabbed his hammer, tossing it in the air. "You're all not worthy." They were all quick to boo him.

A high pitched noise rang through the room and they were all quick to clamp their hands over their ears, Olivia gritting her teeth as the sound bounced through her head. Natasha placed a hand on her shoulder as she turned her head. "Worthy." A robotic voice grabbed their attention, causing everyone to turn and look at the figure. The robot stood there, wires hanging from his body, oil dripping down to the floor. Parts of the robot were missing as it continued to speak.

"No. How could you be worthy? You're all killers." Olivia found herself slowly standing up.

"Stark." Steve said without looking at the man in conversation.

     "Jarvis," Tony tried.

     "I'm sorry, I was asleep. Or I was a-dream."

Tony, holding a device in his hand, mumbled, "Reboot legionnaire OS. We got a buggy suit."

"There was a terrible noise. And I was tangled in. . . in. . . strings." Everyone was standing now, the twins hiding behind of Natasha and Olivia. "I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy."

     "You killed someone?" Steve asked.

"Wouldn't have been my first call. But, down in the real world, we're faced with ugly choices."

Thor spoke this time. "Who sent you?"

Tony's voice played from the robot. "'I see a suit of armor around the world.'

     "Ultron," Bruce realized.

"In the flesh." Ultron paused. "Or, no, not yet. Not this chrysalis. But I'm ready." Olivia found herself pushing the twins back more, she could feel her fangs start to poke her gums. Maria had her gun in her hands, Thor had his hammer. "I'm on a mission."

     "What mission?" Natasha asked.

"Peace in our time." And then robots were quick to burst through the wall.

Steve was thrown backwards as they hit the table. Maria fell to the floor, shooting at the robots as Olivia dived for the twins, quickly ushering them out of harms way before snapping towards the robots. A growl fell from her lips as her eyes glowed and she jumped up, digging her claws into the metal and ripping the heart out of one of the bots. Rhodey was shot out of the window and onto the balcony a floor below. Natasha was trying to keep Bruce from turning into the Hulk.

They were all fighting the bots, the last one being killed by Steve catching his shield from Clint and throwing it at the bot, allowing it to fall to the floor in pieces. Heavy breaths fell from Olivia's lips as she glared dangerously at the robot. "That was dramatic. I'm sorry, I know you mean well. You just didn't think it through. You want to protect the world but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to evolve?" He picked up one of the dead bots. "With these? These puppets." He crushed its head. "There's only one path to peace. The Avengers extinction."

Without another word, Thor threw his hammer, destroying the robot. It fell to pieces, singing a song as the body it was in slowly started dying.
