▌𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐲 ━︎━︎ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐩 ▌

━︎━︎━︎━︎𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀 land in the middle of the forest. They spot Vision, who had clearly been injured. Olivia instantly spots Steve, rushing over to him and helping him stand. "Hey, you alright?" Steve nods, taking a moment to catch his breath. She turns her head to Vision as he lets out a cry of pain.

     Wanda quickly cradles his face in her hands. "What? What is it?"

     Vision's eyes widen as he begins to look around. "He's here."

     Olivia's shoulder's straighten, her eyes and ears keeping alert. She swallowed, glancing at Steve as he pressed a finger to his comm. "Everyone, on my position. We have incoming." She quickly turned her head, eyes snapping to the portal as it formed right before their eyes and outstepped Thanos. A giant, purple Titan, that looked as evil as he sounded.

     They had to keep him away from Wanda and Vision. In between Thanos and Vision stood Olivia, Steve, Bruce, Okoye, T'Challa, Natasha, Sam, Rhodey, Allison, and Bucky. Bruce confirmed who was standing before them and tension in the air grew thick. Steve placed a hand on Olivia's arm. "Use your shield. Protect them." Olivia nodded, taking a step backwards towards Wanda and Vision as Steve activated the shield on his arm. "Eyes up. Stay sharp."

Olivia stands there, watching the whole scene with horror on her face. Bruce reached the mad titan first, leaping to punch him only for the space stone to glow blue, sending Bruce right through him and buried into the cliff behind him, freezing Bruce in place. Steve goes next only to be sent flying backwards with a wave of purple energy before he has that chance to throw his fist. T'Challa's run forwards, his suit charged with power as he leaps up, claws extended, only for Thanos to grab him by the throat and slam him to the ground. Sam flies at him, shooting both pistols only for Thanos to make his wings turn into rubber, sending him falling to the ground.

     Olivia uses her powers, surrounding the three of them in a shield. She tried her best to not listen to the exchange between Wanda and Vision, truly she did, but she couldn't help it when she heard Vision's tone of voice. "Wanda. It's time."

     Wanda shook her head. "No."

     "They can't stop him, Wanda, but we can." He reached out, grabbing her arm. "Look at me." She does. "You have the power to destroy the stone."

      "Don't," Wanda warned.

     "You must do it. Wanda, please." She fully turns to face him and Vision takes her hand, pressing it against his cheek, watching as her lips wobble with tears. "We are out of time." Olivia's heart breaks at his words, a tear of her own slipping down her cheek.

     "I can't," Wanda whispered, her voice breaking.

     "Yes, you can." Vision softly assured. "You can. If he gets the stone, half the universe dies." He shook his head, watching the tears fill her eyes. "It's not fair. It shouldn't be you, but it is. It's alright. You could never hurt me." He paused, staring at her with the most sincerity in his eyes, trying his best to comfort her. "I just feel you."

Olivia glanced over her shoulder, watching as Wanda's power shot from her hands, right to the stone in the middle of Vision's head. She swallowed, keeping the shield around them, not knowing where to look. Her two options were to either watch Vision die, or watch as all of her friends, her family, got taken down by the titan. Maybe it was better to simply close her eyes. So, that's what she did. She focused solely on the shield, hating the dread that consumed her. She hated this. All of it. Why couldn't people that weren't from this world mind their own damn business? That's all she wanted.

She opened her eyes and suddenly he was standing right in front of her. "Wanda," she called out in Warning. She could feel the shield cracking beneath the use of the stones, but she clenched her jaw, using all of her strength to keep it up. Giving Wanda time. And when the shield shattered she threw out her hands, shoving him a few feet backwards, doing it over and over again, until he grew tired of her, pushing through and wrapping around her throat. Olivia's lips lifted a snarl, her claws protruding, puncturing the titans tough skin. His grip around her throat tightened before he chucked her to her side, her head slamming on a tree.

Her vision grew blurry, trying to blink it away, but all she could see was a stream of red coming from Wanda's hands. She was using one hand to hold Thanos back, and was using the other to kill the love of her life. And then it happened. The stone was destroyed, a wave of power exploding through the air leaving Wanda on the ground with tears in her eyes, Vision's body gone.

     Thanos slowly walked towards her. "I understand, my child. Better than anyone."

     Wanda's eyes slowly move to look at him, her voice shaking in anger. "You could never."

     "Today, I lost more than you can know. But now is no time to mourn. Now is no time at all." He walked to the spot Vision had been moments prior, his gauntlet covered hand clenching into a fist as he used the time stone, reversing the last few moments. Suddenly, Vision was there again, the stone in his head completely intact.

      Wanda's eyes widen as she shot up. "NO!" She went forwards but Thanos hit her away.

Thanos grabbed Vision by the throat, lifting him up in the air and ripping the stone from his head. Vision's lifeless body drained of color, Thanos tossing him to the ground like a ragdoll. He places the stone in the gauntlet, the last one he needed, a wave of power surges through his body. That's when Thor appears, sending a bolt of lightning at him, making Thanos go skidding roughly across the ground. Thanos quickly stands before using the power of all six stones, blasting them towards Thor, but Thor throws his axe, the axe cutting through the power of the stones and embedding itself right in Thanos's chest.

     Thor landed in front of him before placing a hand on the axe and the back of Thanos's head. "I told you, you die for that." He pushed the axe in deeper.

     Thanos let out a loud yell of pain before taking a moment, heavily breathing. He struggled to speak. "You should have . . . you should. . . you should have gone for the head." And then, he snapped his fingers.

     "NO!" Thor yelled out. "What did you do? What'd you do?!" Thanos, instead of answering, disappeared through a portal, leaving Thor's axe to fall to the ground.

     Olivia slowly pulls herself up, glancing at Steve as he walked towards Thor, clutching his side. "Where'd he go? Thor. Where'd he go?"

     "Steve?" Bucky's voice grabbed their attention causing the three to turn, just in time to watch as Bucky turned to dust. He was simply gone.

     Allison stood there with wide eyes. "Bucky? Where the hell did he just go?" She quickly spun to Olivia who looked just as shocked as she felt. "Liv?" But before she could ask more, she dusted away.

     Olivia couldn't move. She couldn't breathe. Wanda was gone, T'Challa, Sam, half the population was just gone. Her eyes turned and she almost cried in relief when she saw Natasha was still there. Natasha instantly went to her, grabbing her shoulders. "Allison. . ." Olivia whispered. "Oh god, the girls."

     She slowly turned her head to look at Steve,  watching as he sat down beside Vision's lifeless body. "What is this?" Rhodey asked. "What the hell is happening?"

     And the only words that Steve could manage to spit out were, "Oh, God."
