No Duh Sherlock

Seolah stopped in her tracks as she heard the boys talking. Obviously she didn't intend on eavesdropping on them but she just happened to accidentally walk in on them as they talked about the news Heeseung had.

"If it was just about us, I would've been disappointed, yes but not- this is disgusting. They are just mortals brought here without consent. They were brought here with the intention of 'Mortal-immortal' bonding, only for them to be pulled into this mess?....this is absolutely unacceptable." Minhyuk shook his head feeling extremely gulled by his own people.

"I don't understand, why the f- ....uh why the hell will they make a damned show off this?! What is so entertaining about this?!?" Seungcheol lowly yelled, his protective nature started show, he cannot lie....he actually grew fond of the girls and right now he wasn't thinking about himself, none of them were.

"Own pleasure. They find this funny. They find us breaking out of our shells funny. I mean they could've done that to just us? What did the girls do? They are innocent girls working hard in their daily lives to achieve what they love to do. Why are they using THEM as baits? You know what, I don't blame mortals for loosing faith in us. This is what our reputation is. This is......-" Taeyong spoke up. Honestly Heeseung wouldn't lie, he was the last person he thought would get worked up about this and actually be more concerned about the girls. But here he we have, Taeyong fuming in anger. His pupils were dilated with rage and disgust. And boi, no matter how he was at the end of the day Taeyong was an Olympian. The God of War, Ares.

"Calm down Tae." Seokmin whispered, rubbing his friend's back.

They....are using us as a bait? For what? Are we.......just being exploited?

"Heeseung....what did you see them filming actually? ....like the footages. I don't even know how to say this- was everything-"

"Appropriate? It's about the safety of the girls. They did nothing to deserve this." Sehun cut off Yato, his fists clenched under the table. He was itching to walk up to the higher up gods and punch their teeth off to Moon....quite ironic if you ask me-

"I just got to see us interacting with Suyeon noona yesterday and Hyung with Seolah noona. That's all I saw before mother- she turned off the device." Heeseung sighed.

"How do we trust them?" Soobin asked, feeling enraged too.

"We'll have to meet Zeus. He has some serious explaining to do."

--

"What are you doing standing here?" Seonnie asked following Seolah's eyes. "Do you have a crush on one of them? Heeseung kid is out of question and so is Kumiho guy, don't know about Yeon herself but boi has his eyes on her whenever they are in the same room- who is it?-"

"It's nothing like that Eonnie. They-"

"Would you both stand there until classes end?" Keiko groaned, feeling cranky that day.

"Geez, who soaked your biscuits in water?" Seonnie rolled her eyes walking in. The boys immediately stopped their conversation, trying to act normal. Seolah felt nervous and..... betrayed that they weren't sharing the issue with the girls when they indeed are included in this situation. She gave all of them glares as she sat down beside Keiko who sat the farthest from the boys, wanting some peace.

Soobin noticed Seolah's glare and frowned in confusion.

Soon enough the other girls filled in the empty spot around the table digging into their breakfast.

"Kei do you feel okay...?" Suyeon asked, feeling the older girls forehead.

"Why? is she sick?" Krystal asked, her tone changing into a concerned one immediately.

"Yeah, Seonnie told me she hasn't been feeling well these days." Suyeon said, worry evident in her voice.

"Kei do you want me to check it?" Krystal asked. Keiko shook her head just resting her head on the cool marble table. Letting the cold feeling ease the piercing headache a bit.

The table was unusually quiet. Soobin tried to carry out casual conversation with Vinnie but seemed somewhat distracted and different.

All of the girls noticed their weird behaviour and said nothing.

--

"Hi." Suyeon sat beside Minhyuk who gave her a soft smile.

Suyeon frowned, "I know .....we aren't that close but.....are you okay?" She asked softly lowering her face to get a look at his face. He just shook his head focussing on what the professor started saying as the class started.

Suyeon felt quite a few eyes burning holes through her with the constant glares. She moved her chair away from Minhyuk's, focussing on the lecture as well. Minhyuk clenched his fists turning to glare at the 'angels' who kept whispering and giggling behind Suyeon's back. They immediately stopped and looked away.

"Don't bother. We all- at least most of us are used to it." Suyeon waved him off giving him a genuine smile. She turned a few pages in the history of law book before looking away again.

Minhyuk tried to shove away the guilt he felt, focussing too.ย

--

"Look- I can explain-"

"Yeah? Do it then." Seolah crossed her arms as she stood in front of Soobin with flour all over her.

Vinnie hid behind the lockers, trying not to laugh at Soobin's poor stuttering state. Seolah glared at him fiercely, but froze when Soobin brushed some flour off her hair gently. The flour disappeared mid air.

"It wasn't meant for you. I am sorry." He said, his voice genuine and few pitches lower. Seolah held her book closer to herself, her heart for some 'stupid' reason was thumping against her ribcage. With a snap of Soobin's finger the flour disappeared as if it wasn't there at the first place. Soobin smiled softly, he could sense her nervousness and felt somewhat accomplished.

Seolah adverted her eyes before clearing her throat. "I had a question." She said.

"Hmnm?"

"Whatโ€“"

--

"IS THAT ALL YOU ALL CAN DO?!" A loud yell echoed through the halls of the Law department. Nearly everyone flinched away from the said man.

"AREN'T YOU ALL GODS??! DEITIES?! SCRATCH THAT THERE ARE ALSO SUPPOSED 'ANGELS' HERE! WHAT HAS A GROUP OF MORTALS DONE TO YOU ALL FOR ALL OF YOU GANG UP AGAINST THEM?! SOME OF YOU USE THIS AS SOME SORT OF ENTERTAINMENT. SOME OF YOU CONSTANTLY SHAME THEM FOR ACTUALLY BEING CLOSE TO US. WELL YOU SEE THEY ARE A HUNDRED TIMES BETTER THAN WHATEVER SHOW Y'ALL PUT UP PRETENDING TO BE MIGHTY NICE GODS. YOU KNOW WHAT- F-"

"Minhyuk!" Seungcheol ran up to his friend.

Suyeon was beside the said boy, trying to call him down as his rage caused a few glasses to break. The ground trembled , few screams of terror were heard.

Suyeon backed away, holding the wall for balance. Minhyuk was panting, rage pumping in his blood. He felt the need of gripping onto something, he clenched his fist so hard that his nails pierced through his palm.

"Calm down hyuk, let's go back." Seungcheol said, "I'll be taking him back to the dorm....inform the boys, will you?" Seungcheol pleaded.

"I will. Don't worry." Suyeon nodded, immediately rushing away to the courtyard where the boys normally are after classes end.ย

--

All the gods as well as the girls crowded the boys' dorm. Occasionally frustrated groans of anger could be heard from inside Minhyuk's room.

"So......what caused this sudden tantrum of Hyung?" Heeseung asked. The olders glared at him for being insensitive while the younger ones held back their smiles.

"He has been looking frustrated since morning. I think.....I think the comments some of those uh...of your kind make about us.... triggered him." Suyeon tried to explain.

Seokmin nodded, "those have been getting worse lately." He said sadly.

"Minhyuk probably is blaming himself-"

The ground shook again, a loud groan of pain coming out of the room.

"Minhyuk hyung can't bear negative energy around him. Everything going on today- ...ouch, that's my foot, shortie!- gave birth to a lot of negative energy, it can trigger his....-" Heeseung tried to balance himself but nearly fell because of Vinnie stepping on his foot as she tried to gain back balance.

Everyone was startled.

"His other side!"

"What other side?!"

"Why don't one of you try to calm your friend down?!" Seonnie yelled at the boys.

"We would've if we knew how to! Do it yourself if you think it is easy." Seungcheol glared at Seonnie.

"Yah! She just asked one of you to try and stop this. You're being rude." Krystal glared at him , getting protective of her friend.

Seonnie on the other hand disappeared from behind Suyeon and slowly neared Minhyuk's closed door.

Slowly pushing the door she was surprised to find it open. She pushed it open staring into the brightly painted room, broken pieces of glass covered a side of the room. Few books scattered on the carpet. A figure crouched down in the middle.

She walked near Minhyuk, 'Suyeon always hugs me to calm me down. Warm hug' she thought before crouching down behind him.

He held his head in his hands, trying to ease the headache and the loud banging in his ears. He flinched when he felt a pair of arms encircling his torso. Soon a warm feeling overflew his back. "Calm down, hyuk." The soft voice said.

Minhyuk inhaled sharply turning towards the person, Seonnie looked up at him before hugging him again, her head perfectly sitting on his shoulder. A warm, comforting feeling filled his body as his hands automatically encircled her body, hugging her closer.

"Don't make yourself suffer because of some dumb people."

"You all probably hate me now." He whispered out weakly.

"No, why would we?"

"You saw this other side of me."

"What do you mean?"

"I am not just the god of fortune....but also calamity. I can kill, I bring misfortune to others." He weakly let out. Seonnie looked up at him again, looking straight into his eyes, "why does that matter?" She said. He looked back at her, her genuine and kind stare easing him entirely.

"You don't hate me?" He asked, his voice a mere whisper. "Neither will the other girls." Seonnie assured him. And for the first time, she smiled genuinely at him.

They were, as awkward it is for me to write, staring at each other.ย

--

As they removed their eyes from the scene, all the gods and Girls turned to stare at Heeseung who shook his head fast in defence. Sehun and Seungcheol looked at each other with raised brows. The girls, all except Vinnie were shocked, Vinnie on the other hand was smirking with Soobin. Seokmin was smiling too until he stood next to Keiko. He could sense some gloomy dark aura from her. She looked extremely drained.

'She is indeed very sick.'

No duh Sherlock.

--

The girls all casually joked around and chatted before going to bed. Keiko excused herself, walking into her own room. Soon enough she was under her soft blanket, her body ached even in the smallest movements. She scrunched up her face in pain before she passed out due to sleep.ย

AN: So here's your update guys! Hope you enjoyed it.

Also damn this story makes me feel single-

But ANYWAYS putting my non existent love life aside, anyone who has read or is reading the manhwa/novel 'Who Made Me A Princess' will know what I mean.

Ok so my favourite character isย  none other than Sir Ijekiel

(I swear if I see ANYONE here, talk bad about his looks then we're gonna have problems

no really I think he's good looking- MOVING ON)

he's the future duke of the empire

and THE definition of Gentleman

but sadly he's also the second lead

....

the second lead syndrome has never hit me until him

and it hit so hard

and for some weird reason I always torture myself by searching up some videos and wattpad books itself

dude loved her in BOTH of his lives

but STILL they didn't get together!

What's worse is that you can't even hate the male lead!

Both deserve the female lead T_T

Also if you decide to go read it, it's a good one

with a confusing storyline that's ACTUALLY interesting

(at least for me)

Also just remember...

you'll want to punch Claude A LOTย

*sigh*

Lady Angel's Catcher...

I'll just go cry in a corner because of Ijekiel

Call him my ideal type but Lucas fits that too

Not sir if I can pick one front eh two in that aspect

In other things?

My choice is Ijekiel

Also onto other matters,

I don't if you guys noticed but all of my books aside from THE ARTIST and this one are completed-

Also please read two of my books for which my heart surprisingly reaches out for more than the others and they're the ones with less reads-

Anyways they are IT'S NOT OKAY and THE MOVING CASTLE, both are completed so you don't have to wait for updates :)

Also so I'm planning on a new applyfic then, or maybe a get to know me book. Put your picks here:
