TODAY WAS THE DAY LINNEA AND OLIVER WOULD HEAD TO PARIS TOGETHER. it was six in the morning, linnea getting ready for picking ollie up. richard would drive the two kids to the airport, so they didn't have to get a taxi.

when she was done eating a little, she went to the toilet, what's necessary is necessary. she had already taken a shower the night before, so she didn't feel like she had to do that this morning.

about half an hour later, richard and linnea were sat in the car, on the way to ollie's —ollie's cousins— house really. it wasn't that far, the distance could easily be walked but with the suitcases and where they were heading, this was easier.

linnea called ollie as the car came to a halt in front of his cousins home, not wanting to wake up said cousin by ringing the doorbell. the tall brunette came out of the house with his suitcase, linnea stepping out of the car to greet him, "hi bear, i missed you."

"you saw me a week ago, love." he chuckled at her, his eyes were half lidded with sleep. oliver hoisted his suitcase into the back of richard's car before linnea joined him in the back seat.

the drive to the airport was a little further this time, due to the flight leaving from a different airport. linnea and ollie quickly fell asleep in the back seat, cuddling. they had lifted the top parts of their seatbelts over their heads to make it a little more comfortable.

when the car slotted into the parking lot at the airport, richard quickly snapped a picture of the two napping together before waking them up.

linnea kissed her father goodbye, ollie gave him a hug and her dad told them to take care of each other. linnea told him he had nothing to worry about and that they'd be fine.

after richard had dropped them off, linnea and ollie had checked in together. they also had some light breakfast and then just waiting together for their gate to get called.

after another two hours of waiting later, they could finally board their plane. it wasn't a long flight, about an hour and twenty minutes.

the couple boarded and sat down in their designated seats, linnea was by the window, which she was eternally grateful for. ollie was in the seat next to her, so there was one other seat still next to him.

some girl around their age sat down, smiling at linnea's boyfriend in a way that made her skin crawl. girls knew how girls worked, and linnea knew that fucking look.

she quickly grabbed ollie's hand, sort of marking her territory. she hoped it would be enough for the girl to back off but it seemed that the girl accepted the challenge.

ollie was oblivious to the two girls death staring each other, just enjoying holding his girlfriends hand before he got rudely interrupted. "hi! i'm polly, it's nice to meet you!" the girl who sat down next to him a few seconds ago suddenly said.

"uhm, hi? i'm oliver?" the boy replied, confused. normally no one really spoke to people they didn't know on planes, so why was she talking to him.

linnea squeezed his hand, letting him know something was up. he quickly turned his attention to her, she had her notes app up on her phone. 'she's flirting with you' linnea had written on it.

it seemed to all click in oliver's head. he snatched linnea's phone out of her hand, putting it in the pocket of his hoodie. he grabbed her shoulder and pulled her into him, "you've got nothing to worry about, nea. i only want you." he whispered to her reassuringly.

it felt nice to be comforted like this, jaden never did. linnea felt the need to touch him, to be with him and when she hadn't seen him in a while, she missed him a lot. she had been thinking about the word love, at first, she wasn't sure if she loved him yet.

but now she was absolutely, one hundred percent sure.

"i love you." she whispered back to him causing the boy to freeze up. they had said the words before they got together, but not yet after.

she was a little nervous about his silence, after a few seconds the boy relaxed though, "i love you more, bellissima."
