LINNEA WAS ONCE AGAIN SEATED IN HOSPITALITY BUILDING, by herself. the race would start in about five minutes, and she was terrified.

i mean these cars are way faster then the f2 cars, what if he crashes?? what would i do then??? i think i'd just sprint onto the track, let them take me too. she thought to herself.

then, much like the day before, the chair on the other side of the table moved. alex sat down once more, smiling at the younger girl. "hi lin!" she smiled. "hi alex." linnea tried to smile, but her nervousness was obvious to the model.

"you're nervous." alex stated, linnea went to comment but the woman in front of her cut her off, "shush. linnea, i get it. it's fine to be afraid for him, i mean they're driving cars that go three hundred kilometers an hour. that's scary. but this is what they train for every day, this is what they've dreamt about since they were kids. it's what they're good at. the best thing you can do is to just keep supporting him, and if it ever goes wrong, you'll be the first one at his hospital bed when he wakes up." alexandra advised her.

linnea thought about the words and she realized that alex was right. she had to trust ollie's abilities, and of course the other drivers around him.

a few seconds later, the clock hit 8pm. the formation lap had started, giving linnea heart palpitations. alex grabbed one of her hands over the table, "he'll be fine." she comforted, the younger girl nodding in thanks.

after the formation lap, all the cars got into their decided spots, lining up for the official start. as the last car slotted into the p20 spot, a guy with a green flag walked over the track, waving it.

the red lights at the front went on, one by one. then, "IT'S LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO! the bahrain grand prix is underway!!" ollie's start was not bad, as he kept his eleventh place.

an hour and a half later, ollie had slotted into seventh. linnea and alex had both made their way down to the ferrari garages, waiting for their... well, alex was waiting for her boyfriend. linnea and ollie hadn't spoken about their kiss the night before.

as linnea found david, she greeted him with an excited hug. "go! he'll want to see you." dave told the smiling girl, she nodded in response. she went over to the park ferme, to go find her boy. she stopped by the fence, waiting.

she witnessed ollie hugging lewis hamilton, and smiled at the sight. after that, the boy quickly got himself weighed and pulled off his helmet and baclava. he looked around and made eye contact with linnea. his eyes lit up as he started making his way towards her.

when ollie finally reached linnea, he quickly pulled her into him. he lifted her up, rocking her back and forth as he almost lifted her over the barrier. "you did so good, bear! seventh in your first formula one race!!" the girl said to him.

the boy kept quiet but linnea could tell, he was just overwhelmed. as he pulled back from the hug, he put her back down on her feet. he kept his eyes on her, "can i kiss you?" he whispered, the girl nodded instantly.

she immediately forgot they were out in public as the boy leaned down and put his arms around her waist. he pushed his lips down to hers as she wrapped her arms around his neck, standing on her tippy toes due to their height difference.

they kissed for a few moments, until linnea pulled away. the world came back around them as linnea heard the hundreds of clicks, camera clicks. the girl quickly stressed but the boy grabbed her shoulders, "it's fine nea, let them talk. i'll figure it out with the team later." he assured her, linnea nodding in response.

reporters surrounded the young couple, the boy tried to get the girl to safety by grabbing her hand and tugging her away. as they entered the ferrari hospitality building, ollie was taken away for his media duties. he placed a reassuring kiss on her temple before going.

an hour and a shitstorm of questions, ollie was released from the interviews and could finally go and find linnea. he found her talking to his friends, talking animatedly with dino about something. he smiled at the sight of linnea pushing dino's face away in protest of something the boy had said.

ollie had snuck up on the girl, motioning to his friends to keep quiet. he snaked his arms around her waist from behind her, the girl squealed in surprise before turning around in his arms.

"seriously, bearman?" linnea deadpanned, ollie only smiling at her sweetly. the boy kissed the top of her head, greeting his friends after. linnea moved to the boys side, him only keeping his right arm over her shoulder.

a few minutes of nonsense talk later, dino asked the question all of the boys wanted to ask. "sooooo, what are you guys right now? i mean, you kissed on live tv!" he immediately defended himself, without even having to.

the couple looked at each other, "it's not the first time we've kissed." ollie decided to drop on them, grinning from ear to ear. "WHAT?" kimi yelled, "LINNEA. why didn't you tell me?! i thought we were best friends!" he complained dramatically.

"kimi, sweetie, it only happened last night. we haven't even talked about it." linnea told the group of boys, all of them looked at ollie with an 'are you for real' look.

"why are you all looking at me like that?!"

"if you fumble bro..." paul trailed off, ollie looked at him, offended. "i won't paul, calm down. in fact," he turned his gaze to the girl under his arm, "nea, go on a date with me. please?"

"fine, only because you asked nicely." she responded, smiling at him. the group of boys in front of the couple all fake gagged, "they're making me sick." arvid said, all of the others agreeing with him.

"oh shut up, once you find a girl, you'll be the same." ollie dismissed. "i have a girl, i ain't never acted like that." dino denied, paul shot him a look. "oh please, you were like a love sick puppy with elvira." he exposed, the whole group now giggling at dino's defeated face.

all of the teens returned to the hotel in their separate cars. they met up in the lobby after, all deciding on hanging out in ollie and linnea's room. then, linnea got a text from her father.

the boys and linnea all drank some alcoholic beverage of choice as they joked around. she was once again, wrapped under her boy his arm as they took up the entire bed.

dino and paul were sprawled out on the floor, kimi and gabi were squabbling about something unimportant in italian, arvid was sitting in the one chair in the room. linnea didn't remember who's it was, but there was a speaker playing music, not too loud of course because they were still in a public hotel.

linnea felt at ease with her newly found friends, even if they were hardheaded, insanely annoying and borderline crazy. she still wanted to meet arthur though, she hoped she would be able to visit more races during summer, so she could meet him.
