-ɴᴀɴᴄʏ ᴘᴀʀᴋs and Stefan had been in love since her family had moved to Mystic Falls, but their love was on borrowed time. Nancy didn't want to have to marry Reuben Barlow but she had no other choice; so Nancy and Stefan continued to keep their love a secret up until the day of her wedding where she hoped that he would run through the doors of the chapel to object, but he never did.

Nancy and Reuben Barlow had moved away from Mystic Falls to start their new life as husband and wife with no goodbye from either Salvatore brother, she was distraught but couldn't show it in fear of Reuben taking his anger out on her like he always did, regardless of him having been drinking or not. The Barlow men were nothing but abusive and they didn't always wait until being behind closed doors to show it.

So when Nancy and Reuben return to Mystic Falls for her mother's funeral and none other than both the Salvatore men show up with Katherine Pierce on their arms, her heart broke once more. She had waited until Stefan was alone to confront him, but it ended up with their lips on each other.

Reuben had found out, no longer able to hold back his anger, he had beaten the girl to death. However, the witches took pitty over watching the love affair for years and put a spell on her body so that she would be reborn until her and Stefan could rekindle their love for each other.

σиє. Flashbacks to the years when Stefan and Nancy had been in love are a must and this is not negotiable, they need to be in-depth and frequent to show their story's beginning. I don't have a claim for Reuben but feel free to choose one.

тωσ. Obviously, if she is being reborn until they meet again, she will have a new name in the beginning of the show compared to Nancy Parks so you can pick one, I don't mind what. She could die of natural causes, old age or murder, regardless she was reincarnated into a new baby who would then grow up to look like Nancy Parks, that is what strikes Stefan and Damon the most.

тняєє. When she finds out who and what she is, she will be distraught, confused, scared and much more so don't make her and Stefan fast-burn, it takes time for her to trust him because she still sees him as ruthless and scary.
