-ᴀᴅᴇʟᴀɪᴅᴇ ᴋɪɴɢsʟʏ had loved Stefan Salvatore wish all her heart and much more than that, words could not express the love they felt for one another. Nothing could ruin their relationship, at least that is what they thought. They spent their days at founder's parties dancing and drinking, enjoying each other's presence.

That was until a certain Katherine Pierce showed up in Mystic Falls, compelling Adelaide to leave her home town and to never return, making Stefan think that his true love had left him. But Katherine was there for him, to fix the broken heart that she had caused whilst Adelaide had no idea who she had lost, but she felt the pain of it all.

145 years later and a humanity-less Stefan is under the orders of Niklaus Mikaelson where he 'accidentally' knocks into Adelaide Kingsly, reuniting them. Addy informs Stefan what had really happened, how Nik had bumped into her 145 years ago whilst looking for Katherine and turned her, hoping for any reliable information. The only information he had was that Stefan and Adelaide were deeply in love and Katherine ruined it.

He felt for the girl, promising that he will reunite her with the one she desired the most. And he did.

ɪɴғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ

σиє. Adelaide has turned her humanity off as well, about 100 years ago, to deal with the loss of her soulmate. She also turned it off due to Klaus' request so that he didn't have to deal with her sadness.

тωσ. Addy and Klaus never had a relationship, more of a brotherly thing which will anger Rebekah easily because she is jealous of it. Adelaide followed Klaus around on the search for Katherine because she also wanted revenge on her but she could never physically step foot in Mystic Falls.

тняєє. She and Elena won't get on at the start because all she sees is Katherine when she looks at her, Stefan had loved her too and she hates how Elena wouldn't choose a brother. She had respect for Damon.

fσυя. Damon and Addy had a fling about 60 years before the events of the show, but Klaus compelled them both to forget about it because they were catching feelings and he didn't want it to get in the way of their mission.
