-ʀᴜʙʏ ɢᴇᴏʀɢᴇ was a troubled kid, always getting on the wrong side of the law whether it was at school or at home, she was always causing trouble. And she loved it. She loved the attention that it brought her and the aftermath of it all, the adrenaline pumping through her veins. But there was always a reason, right?

After her father left them, Ruby was never the same. She hated having to be her sister's mother and having to give up her whole personal life for it, ditching her friends every day to go home and babysit or to go to work. But it sucked that he pushed her away just as much for how she was acting, Steve used to be different. But now he was just like everyone else.

But when Steve randomly starts to hang out with her again, inviting her to parties and doing their school work together. She gets confused. But she wasn't one to complain. She always had a thing for Steve, and he had one for her too.

ɪɴғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ

σиє. Ruby has a decent relationship with Hopper because she spent most of her time in the back of his police car after she was caught doing something she wasn't supposed to do. He felt sorry for her and hardly ever processed what she had done, letting her get away with most of it.

тωσ. Her father is deployed with the Navy and spent most of the time there until he sent his wife a letter saying that he had found love somewhere else, ever since then her mother had never been the same and was always out working or going out with her friends. This left Ruby to be a mother to her younger sister Pearl (played by Storm Reid*).

тняєє. Ruby and Steve were close friends before the drama with her father, afterwards, Steve distanced himself from her because she started acting out which only made her act out more. But they started to get close again at the beginning of season 1 and onwards they started to become much closer and form a slow relationship.

fσυя. She will help Steve with helping the 'kids' because she is used to having to look after people, mainly her sister. They will joke about her and Steve being their parents a lot.
