║Thirteen║

-ᴛʜɪʀᴛᴇᴇɴ was a test subject, just like her old friend Eleven. It was thought that El was the only experiment that actually worked, but she wasn't. Dr Martin Brenner had successfully created Subject 13, giving her the ability of chlorokinesis; the ability to control plants. At first, he didn't think that Subject Thirteen's abilities would be useful to him until he took her outside, he was astonished to see the way she connected with nature and how she could manipulate it.

So when Number Eleven escapes, he sends his best weapon out to bring her home. But Thirteen had other ideas, she cut the tracker out of her arm and set off on her own journey to find her best friend and to finally live the life that she always wanted.

Eleven and Thirteen were very different, where Eleven had restricted code, Thirteen accelerated. She spent her days in Dr Brenner's lab reading books, socialising and actually understanding. Eleven was always jealous, even though her friend tried to help her with her vocabulary. Yet Thirteen was jealous of her friend's abilities, she thought that chlorokinesis was pathetic and useless.

Boy was she wrong.

ɪɴғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ

σиє. Thirteen can be given a name, I had an idea that because she is influential still, she could see a name on a magazine or on an advert and think that it is her name. It fits with the story nicely, Kimberly was one of the most popular names around that time and it fits.

тωσ. Brenner didn't shave Thirteen's head recently so she has short hair, shorter than the hair in the GIF because he realised that her powers had nothing to do with her brain, it was to do with her heart.

тняєє. She has no love interest but that doesn't mean that she doesn't like any of the characters, she still had limited contact with the outside world so she doesn't act like a 'normal' child, she is like Eleven in this sense.

fσυя. The Demogorgons are related to nature in a way that none of the gang understands, you could come up with an explanation if you wanted, so Thirteen has the ability to control them to a certain extent. She can rip them apart from the inside out and that makes her really badass.

fινє. When Eleven leaves the gang at the end of Season 1 and they think she is dead, Eleven will find a way to lock Thirteen somewhere (maybe knocks her out or traps her somewhere) so she doesn't 'die' with her. She will be left with the group and Hopper could take her in, or Joyce Byers could be a great mum to Thirteen.
