-ᴋɪᴍʙᴇʀʟʏ ᴏsʙᴏʀɴᴇ was a bright soul, some could even say that she was the brightest soul in Hawkins itself. She was proud and everyone knew it, if only they knew the secret she was hiding. Ever since she was adopted by the Osborne family at the age of eleven, she found herself experiencing the weirdest of occurrences.

She felt the water calling to her as if she was the moon itself, feeling the power flow through her veins as she went swimming in lakes or fishing with her adoptive parents. What was even weirder was that she had no recollection of her life before she was adoptive, none at all, and the more she thought about it, the more it troubled her.

Every time she questioned her parents about it, she would wake up the next morning with a sting in her neck and forgetting the previous day's events. She needed answers and the only way she could, was to go to the source itself. The water.

It was a shock, to say the least, finding a dead body in the lake. It was even more of a shock when she realised who it was, Will Byers. But Kim hadn't been lucky that day, she found herself becoming overwhelmed with emotion that the water started to attack her. Pulling her under.

She was announced dead at the scene. It wasn't until her 'parents' arrived to confirm that it was her at the morgue, that the water shot out of her lungs and she could breathe again.

σиє. Kimberly was number 9 of the Brenner trials, she developed the manipulation of water ability and has no recollection of it at all. She was let out of the compound to see how she would react in a society, so he used two of his scientists to house her and pretend to adopt her and keep her in check.

тωσ. When she questions everything, her adoptive parents inject her with a serum that makes her forget the last day's events and will reset her mind. This will get questioned a bunch by her friends, the boys (Mike, Lucas, Dustin...)

тняєє. She is friends with the boys at school and at school only, they all excel in their classes and they all joined the club with the radio (I honestly can't remember). But they don't hang out after school or anything because her parents want her home to study etc, but at the end of Season 1 her parents are arrested (or run away) and she gets adopted by the Byers family.
