ZUMA STOOD IN front of Yulia and Evan's graves in the cemetery. Their funerals were last week. Zuma had his hood on with his backpack on. He sat in front of their graves.
He took out two letters. It was his letters to them. He wrote them once he was released from the hospital.
Zuma took a deep breath and started on Yulia's letter.
Dear Yulia,
I never thought that I would ever date you when we were in middle school. I always thought that you were too good for me. That I was too bad for you. But when you said you liked me back, that was amazing. That day will forever be one of the best days in my life. I pictured us to be together forever. I still think that. I will never forget you and I'll always love you. I love you on your good days and on your bad days. I hope that you'll never forget me too. I love you miss you.
Love,
Zuma
Zuma had a tear fall on his face. Zuma couldn't stand himself crying. He's still use to it and he hates it.
Zuma kissed the letter and puts it back in his backpack. He then grabbed out Evan's letter.
Dear Evan,
Me and you have been through a lot of shit. From us going to friends to friends with benefits and back to friends. Best friends. You and Scuba pushed me to finally talk to Yulia, just like how I pushed you to ask out Gabby. Gabby misses you so much. She kept your jacket and never takes it off. Of course when she's in the shower but besides that never. You were a brother to me and I will never forget you. I love you man.
Love,
Zuma
Zuma kissed the letter and put it back in his backpack. He headed back to the car. Gabby, Scuba, and Jess wanted to come with him.
"They would've been proud of you Z." Scuba reassured.
Zuma licked his lips.
"I hope so."
