Ryan anxiously fiddled with a pencil while Dallon typed away on his phone. They didn't talk, just did their own things. This is what happened often. Over the years they just invited each other over at their houses while they completely ignored one another's boredom. It was comforting, in Ryan's opinion. He enjoyed Dallon's presence, even if they weren't talking. They've been friends for a while, so they were quite used to this.

Dallon noticed Ryan's fidgeting, deciding that maybe he should bring the thing up to distract him.

"Hey, Ry"

Ryan snapped out of his thoughts, looking at Dallon with curiosity.

"What's wrong? You've been acting weird lately and the doctor said that if you seem off you have to go back"

Dallon sat on the desk in front of Ryan, concerned for his...friend?

Ryan shrugged. "I'm fine" Dallon could've laughed. "That's the biggest bullshit I've heard from you in a while, tell me what's up" Dallon had to be pushy with this. He always made Ryan tell him things because if he let it go Ryan would feel bad and ghost everyone and then come back and feel like shit and apologize countlessly for nothing.

"I just wanted to ask you something is all"

Dallon knew Ryan was scared to ask, just by the way he was speaking.

"Well ask away, I won't judge you, I promise"

Ryan played with a loose string on his shirt, not knowing if he should say it or not.

"Do you wanna like...y'know? Like do you want to like..." The rest of his sentence was mumbled.

"What?"

"Do you wanna go like...on a date with me?"

Sure that's not exactly what Ryan wanted to ask, but he didn't want to go to far. Dallon wasn't having any of it.

"The truth. I want you to ask me the truth"

Dallon knew when Ryan was lying. He didn't know what the truth was but he knew that's not what Ryan had wanted to ask him. Ryan knew how stubborn Dallon was. If he wanted something, he was going to get the full thing, no sprinkles of it.

"Fine. Do you wanna be my boyfriend?"
