Dallon forced a smile as he stood up. His back hurt like hell, and he reminded himself never to pass out on such an uncomfortable spot.

"Man, I guess I was just really tired today"

Ryan nodded, getting up himself with a shrug. Dallon was always tired, nothing new.

"It's already late so I guess your mom wants me to take you home" he mumbled, glancing at the time on his phone.

"Yeah, but where's everyone else? They usually stay pretty late?"

"It's pouring out, they left early to avoid the rain. It's just me, you, Pete and Mikey"

Dallon was confused on why Mikey hadn't left yet. He was usually first to leave after him and Ryan.

Ryan went back out into the hallway, Dallon following behind.

Dallon and Ryan walked along the sidewalk, talking and joking around. Pete had thankfully lended them an umbrella, so they wouldn't get drenched and sick.

"You kept moving around while you were sleeping, like you looked like a fish"

Ryan snorted when Dallon punched him in the gut, laughing some more. Ryan really wondered if Dallon was having a weird dream or something.

"Hey uh what were you dr-"

"Oh look were here!"

Dallon quickly changed the subject. He was definitely not going to tell him. Ryan would hate Dallon if he spoke a word about his dream. Dallon sure as hell wasn't risking that.

"Oh, uh I'll sneak you out at 8 tomorrow? My dad's going on a business trip or whatever and it's the weekend"

Dallon nodded, saluting Ryan a bye. He ran quickly to his doorstep so he wouldn't get caught in the rain.

Dallon opened the front door with caution, which didn't really do much. His mother was in the living room, reading a book. Once she heard the door click her head snapped up, knowing it would be her son.

"Dallon, where were you?"

She stood up, hurrying over to him. Cupping his head in her hands she inspected him for anything that might be hurting or more. Dallon put her hands down, smiling.

"I'm fine, I just fell asleep at Pete's for a while so Ryan walked me home"

"Oh dear! Is Ryan walking all by himself? Are you crazy!?"

Dallon was scooted out of the way by his mother, who grabbed her umbrella and put on her shoes.

"Tell your father Ryan is staying the night"
