Chapter 13

Disclaimer: I do not own BNHA or the Quirk Impulse. Impulse was created by @hawkin_headlines on Instagram. They have a Comic Villain Deku AU Series on Instagram and I encourage you to check it out. It's really awesome! BNHA itself was created by Kohei Horikoshi. I own nothing but the plot for this story.

--------

Midoriya P.O.V

How embarrassing. When I was walking in, I'd almost fallen on my face, if some girl didn't touch my shoulder, causing me to float up.

"Hey, what the fu-hell?!" I wiggled in the air, in a desperate attempt to try and come down.

"Hey! I saw you falling, and saved you!" I stopped moving, and put another one of those fake smiles on my face.

"My name's Iuzku Midoriya! Thank you for helping me out!" she smiled, and giggled.

"I'm Ochako Uraraka!" her personality was bubbly and I instantly disliked her. She put her fingers together and mumbled 'Release!' then I fell on ground.

"My Quirk is Zero Gravity! I can make things lighter or float!" I nodded, and thanked her again. She only nodded and skipped off.

How naive, to trust someone she met only seconds ago.

--------

We were all seated in a giant stadium with a stage in the center, surrounded by chairs. I'd sat in the middle, and took out my notebook.

"WEEEELCOOMEEEE, TO UAAAAAA!" a giant voice boomed out and I jumped in my seat. Ugh. So damn loud. Looking up, I spotted a man with a wacky hairstyle and yellow glasses. What the hell?

"......." no one reply to his greeting, and he coughed, continuing on. I chuckled silently. That's what Heroes nowadays expect, don't they? Fame, and power.

"Ahem. The exam will be based on how many robots you can take down." a screen flickered to life behind him, and he turned around, now pointing at the screen.

"This robot is worth 1 point, whereas this one is worth 2. This one is worth 3." a girl raised her hand, looking nervous.

"T-there are f-four on the screen." she pointed out the obvious, and I scoffed. Someone beside me shushed me, and I feel silent, taking notes.

Hero Name: Present Mic

Quirk: Voice-His Quirk allows him to amplify his voice, and send shockwaves to blow their opponent away.

Judging by what I was seeing so far, he was one of the teachers here. Better to let the League know. I snapped my notebook shut, causing an echo and the stare of many people beside me. I ignored them.

"Yes. The last one is bigger than the rest, but don't engage in battle against it. It's strong." she nodded and sat back down. Then a boy with glasses and a suit stood up. Who on earth wore a suit to a entrance exam?

"I am Tenya lida! I am from the school well known as Wellston! I believe it is completely useless to have a pointless robot, as it puts the pupils in danger! I believe it is unjust!" (A/N I couldn't remember so I just made things up. For those of you who read Unordinary...) while he was talking, his hands made robotic motions up and down, and he held a scowl on his face. How annoying; another stuck-up. Standing up, I replied,

"Be quiet! This isn't your little playhouse; you don't get to say what you wish!" I was pissed, and ended up insulting him. Whoops.

"Well, I'd neve-" his comeback was interrupted by Shrieker, who waved his arms. We both sat down. Looking I met Kacchan's eye. I smiled, and he looked away. Maybe I had food in my teeth or something.

----------

All participants stood together in a line fidgeting. I looked around, sizing everyone up. Some were doing the same, others were slouching, trying to hide.

"Oi, Nerd." I turned around. Kacchan stood behind me, arms folded. Time to put my acting skills to act.

"Y-yes, Kacchan?"  he slapped me across the face. That was the LAST STRAW. Throughout our childhood, I'd been NOTHING but compassionate and kid to him; and THIS IS WHAT I GET?!

I slipped him back, feeling and welcoming the sting against my hand. Kacchan's eyes were wide, and he held a hand up to his face, looking off into the distance at nothing.

"Ready....Set...GOOO!" Present Mic's voice boomed through us, and I leaned in.

"We'll finish this later." with that, I left off sprinting, Kacchan not too far behind me.  I turned left, heading into a small space. Uh-oh. I'd tried to avoid small spaces; but it was too late.  A loud thumping was heard, and I wielded around. Behind me stood two of the three pointers, and I grumbled under my breath.

"Just perfect." launching myself at the first one, I released my electricity. It zapped from my arms to my fingertips, filling me with a wonderful sensation. I threw out my arm, hitting both robots with a zap of electricity. Energy hummed and they shut down.

These robots were electric; which meant my Quirk could shut them down. Running forwards, I saw the girl who had saved me from falling. She was trapped under a Zero Pointer, but I turned and walked away. What was her name again? Arara? Oh well. After all, names are just as useless as Heroes.

"URARAKA!" I heard someone call out, and I turned around. So that was her name. Now what? The boy who had yelled out and was from 'Wellston' was running towards her with tremendous speed, then kicked the robot with a brilliant flash of blue light.

"-piro Kick!" I heard him yell. I hadn't caught the first part. I'd ask later and add it to my notebook. For now, I was going to keep hunting down the robots. Activating Full Cowling, I sped up and ran, jumping from one building to another.

                                                                              ~Time Skip~

Exams were over, and I was anxious to know whether I passed or not. Walking into the building, I saw everyone crowded around a board. My short height gave me a disadvantage, though. So I waited until everyone had left. Then I walked over to the board, seeing it was our scores. I was at the top, with Kacchan coming in second. Heh. How would that feel, being beaten by a Deku? No.

Not by a Deku.

By the Deku.

"Oi, Deku! Wait up, Nerd!" I turned around to see Kacchan.

"Y-yes, Kacchan?" I asked as politely as I could. It took every ounce of my willpower not to punch his straight in the gut with One for All. He scowled.

"Drop the fucking act, Nerd. I know you're faking." ah, so the brawn did have brains. Looks like Kacchan wasn't a total idiot.

"Thanks. Makes it a shit load easier for me." I grinned. Then I decided to play a game.

"What's wrong, Katsuki? Didn't know the little Deku could cuss?" I smiled. Kacchan's eyes were stretched out to the point to where all the whites could be seen, and I grinned, showing my canines.

"Goodbye, Katsuki. I hope you don't bother me anymore." with a little wave, I turned around to walk away, but stopped when I heard Kacchan speak.

"You're not Deku. You're not the same. DON'T THINK I WOULDN'T NOTICE!" his head snapped up as he screamed at me.

"WHY?! WHAT CAUSED YOU TO CHANGE?! YOU WERE PERFECTLY FINE BEFORE; THE INNOCENT SHITRAG YOU WERE BORN AS! WHY DID YOU CHANGE?!" I turned around to face Kacchan, letting him finish yelling at me before I gave him my reply.

"What, stay as the little Izuku who would get beaten up?" a tear slipped out from Kacchan's eye and he looked at me in shock.

 Good. Keep pushing him.

"Sorry to disappoint, but your human punching bag is dead. All that's left, is me." I walked away again, but Kacchan caught my arm before I could walk away.

"...Why?" he asked hoarsely. I just looked over my shoulder, letting a bit of my inner demon show.

"Because that Izuku was pathetic and deserved to die. I'm the better replacement." I shrugged his hand off and walked away, hands in my pockets, whistling a little tune. Nothing was more fun than breaking the ones who once broke you.

But something Kacchan had said still bothered me. 'Why did you change?' played over and over again in my mind as I began to walk back to the Villain's bar.

"Why...?" I asked myself, and doubled over laughing, and ran a hand through my green hair which was dirty from the Exam.

"Because I want to, Katsuki Bakugo." besides, it was fun watching him suffer. As he realized what I'd felt all those years. When the time came, maybe I'd tie him up and make him watch as I beat up those old friends of his. And what was that boy with fins called? Ah, yes. Felix.

"One day, I will bring them the same pain they brought me."

------

"Did you get in?" asked Shigaraki-kun once I'd entered the bar. Plopping beside Himiko and hugging her, I replied,

"Yes." Kurogiri inclined his head towards me and narrowed his eyes, asking,

"How'd it go?" this time, a smile lit up my face, making me look like the old Izuku once again. My eyes narrowed, and my smile turned sinister.

"Very, very good. I got to met an old 'friend' of mine!" Dabi rose an eyebrow.

"Something tells me that friend of yours mean much more." I laughed, and got myself a cup of fruit punch. Taking a sip, I closed my eyes and replied,

"Oh, yes. Much more."

I apologize for this Chapter being shorter; but hey! A least there's some Bakugo shit included, right? *sigh* Izuku is now...a Villain. As the title of my book suggests.
