Chapter 10

Disclaimer: I do not own BNHA or the Quirk Impulse. Impulse was created by @hawkin_headlines on Instagram. They have a Comic Villain Deku AU Series on Instagram and I encourage you to check it out. It's really awesome! BNHA itself was created by Kohei Horikoshi. I own nothing but the plot for this story.

--------

MidorIya P.O.V

Entrance exams for UA started in a month, and I still hadn't mastered my Quirks. Yes, Quirks. I had two now.

*Flashback*

"So, Izuku Midoriya. Do you remember anything from last night?" All for One asked, and I had the feeling he wanted me to find out on my own.

"No. I remember your hand getting hot, then nothing." I could feel his gaze on me, despite not being able to see his eyes.

"I see. Do you wish to know?" I nodded. A long pause.

"Do you want it shown to you, or do you wish for me to tell you?" being able to see the visuals may help me understand more.

"Show, please." nodding, All for One beckoned for me to walk closer. As time had passed, I had gotten used to AFO and was no longer afraid of him, instead seeing his as a father figure.

"Let's begin." funny. I had heard those words so many times in my life; either as a warning, or a threat. Or both. However, this time, it was a genuine warning from All for One.

His hand was on my head once again, we sat on the cold floor, facing each other. His hadn't became warm, and I braced myself for the pain. It never came.

"The heat varies depending on the Quirk I use." I nodded once again. Then the memories came.

-------

AFO P.O.V

A moment after my hand touched his face, it began to grow warmer  and warmer, until it was scorching. I was afraid the boy couldn't withstand it, but I kept on going. We needed to figure out what this boy was, and which Quirk I could give him. Then I felt it.

A small flicker of light, buried deep within the boy. It pulsed with a pale light, and I reached out towards it. This had to be his Quirk. He was late manifested, but I could help him with that. I could activate his Quirk right now, and tell him about it later on.

After a moment, I began to see the outline of the Quirk. Offensive, along with some Defense. Electricity type, made from his own body. However, he couldn't over-use it, otherwise his hand would go numb and sometimes even lose the use of his hand. I would call this Quirk 'Impulse'. Then there was the second Quirk.

He told me he had gotten it from All Might, and I didn't believe him. Until now. The energy using from the bright blue orb was so similar to the power I had felt from the Symbol of Peace the last time I fought him. It seemed to be called One for All, just like he had said. This was good.

Now we had a chance.

AFO P.O.V END Midoriya P.O.V BEGIN

"....I have a Quirk?" I asked, and All for One nodded.

"It's called Impulse. You will be able to produce green electricity out of your body and use it to immobilize, or even kill." that was pretty cool. Green electricity, huh? That's kind of like what All Might said I'd be able to achieve if I worked harder, and if I could become a Hero. But all that was behind me now. I was a Villain, and would stay one.

"So, will I be going to UA as a spy?" All for One nodded.

"There's barely a month left before the Entrance Exams starts, so we'll have to get you ready.  I'll tell Shigaraki and the others to train you. And Toga not to stab you too much." I couldn't help but let out a giggle. This man-this Villain, actually had a small sense of humor. Villains really weren't as bad as Heroes painted them to be.

"Alright. Thank you, All for One." his reply never came. But that was because he was gone.

*Flashback Ends*

"Shigaraki-kun, All for One told you guys to train me." it was mid-afternoon, and the members of LOV sat on the ground of the bar, playing a game of cards. With the exception of Kurogiri, who of course, was re-cleaning his glasses once more.

"I'm aware of that." I nodded and placed a card down. Shigaraki-kun placed another, and Himiko followed. Dabi didn't place one, so I could only assume he didn't have a card to go after the spade Himiko put down.

"So who will training me today?" I asked. It was Himiko's turn. She placed a 4, and I frowned. I didn't have any to go after that.

"Me." grumbled Dabi, who still hasn't put down any cards.

"Oh! Can I watch? Pretty please? PRETTY PLEASE?" begged Himiko, who gave up on the card game and called it quits. She did always have a short fuse.

"Fine. Don't disturb them." replied Shigaraki-kun, and accidentally disintegrated most of his cards when Dabi won the game. Himiko nodded furiously, her buns bouncing up and down. She looked childish, and kind of cute.

"Okay!" she hopped to her feet and raced to her room, and I assumed she was getting a knife to play with while she watched us.

"Let's go." Dabi pulled himself up to his feet, and looked down at me.

"You coming or not?" he asked, and I jumped up.

"Of course!" I was energetic. The last time I trained was with All Might, and I didn't like it. Almost as if reading my emotions, Dabi looked back at me over his shoulder, and said,

"Don't worry. We're only doing combat today. No trash lifting and other kinds of shit." I breathed out a sigh of relief. Out of all the Villains, Dabi was the one who spoke to me least, but he was like a big brother to me. Shigaraki-kun would the younger brother, as he was always easily annoyed and pissed. I giggled, and doubled over laughing as I pictured Shigaraki-kun shorter than me and pouting. I'd have to find a way to blackmail him with that later.

"Hey, hurry up." I nodded and rushed to my room, where I changed into shorts with a white T-Shirt which had the word 'Shirt' on it. It was one of my favorite shirts, as I'd worn it a lot and it fit me well. Grabbing a knife and a water bottle, I yelled,

"Coming!" to Dabi, who was probably waiting for me outside my door.

It was time to get serious about this whole Villain thing.

--------

"First, we'll spar. Only hand to hand combat; no weapons or Quirks. You'll need the basics before training your Quirks." I guess it was only fair. Dabi's Quirk was Cremation, meaning anything his flames touched would turn to ash. Me included.

"Alright." Dabi walked up to the open space, and I followed after setting down my things. In the corner of the room, Himiko was tossing her knife up and down and catching it between her fingers.

"GO IZU! GO IZU!" she was rooting for me while doing the knife trick, and I was worried for her safety. But then again, we were all Villains here. No point getting concerned over a small little knife throw. Besides, she probably already mastered all the Knife Arts.

"Thank you, Himiko!" she grinned at me, and I grinned back. I'd never felt more at home.

---------

"Dodge left! Feint, then counterattack!" Dabi was shouting orders at me, and I tried my best to follow them. Ducking when he sent a punch over my head, I aimed for his stomach. But he caught my fist with his bare fist, and sent a kick to the back of my legs which sent me tumbling to the ground, panting.

"Ouch..." Dabi held out a hand and I grabbed it. Helping me get up, he said,

"Go get a break. We're done for today." I nodded my thanks, and trudged off towards where my things were piled on the ground. Himiko ran over to me once I reached my things, and smiled.

"That was great, Izu!" normally, I would've given her a hug. But she was holding a very sharp knife, and I was sweating, so I decided against it. Then Himiko bounced over to where Dabi stood; he was wiping his sweat off with a towel I hadn't seen him bring.

"Dabi, you went too hard on Izu! Look how tired he is!" she pointed a finger in my direction, and I waved back. He shrugged.

"That wasn't hard. If he'd applied his other skills, he would've had a chance." what other skills?

"It's my turn to train him next!" she declared, and skipped out of the room.

"Thanks for the training." he looked over, and nodded.

"Don't mention it. You're a very valuable asset to us. Don't forget that." I hadn't forgotten. It was my job to sneak into UA as a Hero, and feed the LOV information.

"I won't. I won't forget."

-------

We were all sitting on the counter, eating dinner Kurogiri had cooked up. Veggies, fried rice, and whatever drink we preferred were set on the table. I had taken one look at the food, and dived straight in. No regrets. The food was crazy good! Kurigiri was officially the mother of this League now.

"So, how did the training go?" asked Shigaraki-kun, who then downed a gulp of beer. I frowned.

"Shigaraki-kun, you shouldn't drink beer so late at night." he drank the rest and started on his food. Kurogiri took the cup and immediately stated to clean it. Typical.

'I don't fucking care. How did the training go?" I swallowed my bite of veggies before replying.

"It went well." I brought some rice to my mouth, and chewed.

"Any luck with your Quirks?" asked Kurogiri, who was now drying the glass. He then proceeded to put it onto the rack.

"Dabi-kun said I needed to work on basics first." Himiko lowed her spoon and added,

"He also went too hard on Izu!" now it was Dabi's turn to interrupt.

"First off, Midoriya, don't call me that. Secondly, Toga, I didn't go too hard on him. I avoided placed where he could be seriously hurt." that part was true. He'd only aimed for my legs, and arms. I was betting that if he'd tried, Dabi could have me facedown on the ground in 3 seconds flat.

"I'm glad to hear that." I nodded, and counted to eat. Seriously, how does someone like Kurogiri become a Villain? Not my place to know.

"Shiggy, can we go 'there' tomorrow? Dabi, Izu, and I?" where was 'there'? Before I could voice my question, Shigaraki-kun beat me to it.

"You mean shopping?" ah, so that's what it was. I wonder why we would have to go shopping?

"Yup! We need to pick an outfit for Izu! And a name!" oh, right. I needed a Villain name to go by. Luckily, I'd already had one in mind.

"Actually, all we need is my outfit." they all turned around and Dabi raised an eyebrow.

"And why is that?" inquired Kurogiri, who was now washing Himiko's glass, which she had finished a few seconds ago.

"Because I already have a Villain name in mind." Shigaraki-kun's eyes narrowed, and he said in a silky smooth voice,

"Oh? What what is it?" I smiled. Not one of my sweet smiles that I would make at my mother. She was gone, and she had brought those smiles along with her. I am now a Villain. A Villain known as-

"Deku."

Wow, two Chapters in one day! Whew. My hands hurt as I've been typing on my iPad, and in the darkness. Typing at night isn't really a good idea, but it's pretty much the only time I have to write other than the hot I have after school ends.

Word Count: 2127

'Deku' seems to have changed a lot! I can't wait to start writing about when he and Katsuki meet! Anyways, the next time I update is probably on Monday. I can't write on weekends, as my parents are always home. Sometimes, I pretend to do homework and write anyways. When they come up, I just hide my iPad and pretend to be doing math or other things.

Please don't forget to like or comment so I know you're enjoying the book!

Also, I know this A/N is kind of long. I apologize.

Thanks for reading!
