1 day later:

I was over at Lola's helping her pack since I had already finished.

"Do you think you'll like Lucy?" Lola asked me, I chuckled at her question. "Well of course, she's your sister. So surely she must act like you." I smiled sweetly at my friend, Lola then chuckled. "Maybe..." Lola said sarcastically, I tilted my head at her comment. "What's wrong?" I asked Lola, she seemed suddenly upset at my comment.

"It's nothing... just don't expect much from Lucy. She doesn't act like me one bit." Lola said, before standing up after zipping up the suitcase. "All done!" Lola exclaimed happily, I smiled at her cuteness. "Well then.... I guess I should be heading home." I said, standing up and looking at Lola. "Okay... have a good night's sleep. We have a big day tomorrow." Lola smiled, hugging me then greeting me out the door.

I called Lucas as I walked to his place. "Yeah, I just want to come over tonight... is that okay?" I asked Lucas over the phone. "Sure you can, my address is *** wood street." Lucas said,ย  I okayed it then kept him on the phone as I continued to walk to his place.

The area was dark, the only light was the few street lights I passed, other than that. There was no cars out at this hour, it was around 1:30 and I was going to see my boyfriend.

"Have you still been seeing that creature by the street at night?" Lucas asked over the phone, I sighed as I continued to look at the street I was walking on. "Yes... I just want to wait until the curtains come. The strange thing is, it never tries to invade or break on. It just stands there until I ignore it." My voice cracked while speaking about the creature that stalks around my house. It was a scary feeling to think of.

Of course it is... I don't know what it is

"Well... then I'm glad to have you come over. I don't want you to get hurt." Lucas said, his comment made my cheeks grow red. Lucas was always a sweetheart. Maybe not at a party. More like... hot... outgoing guy. But Lucas turned out to be very antisocial and quiet. He only seems to loosen up once we go to parties together.

"I was thinking... maybe we should stay up and hang out tonight since this will be my last day here until the wedding is over." I suggested, Lucas sure would have to think on this. Even though he was a very quiet person, he still owned a business. He was quite a busy person, so he probably wouldn't because of the circumstances.

"You know what, yeah, we should since you won't be back for a few weeks." Lucas said, after complying with his response, wind began to blow across my body a few times at a fast speed. "Did you hear that?" I asked Lucas as the wind blew my hair in front of my face.

"Hear what? I don't hear anything." Lucas replied, I tilted my head, turning around to see if anything was by, but there was nothing. "Well I guess, are you almost here?" Lucas asked, I ended the call and began to run to Lucas's place. Ringing the doorbell once I got there, I couldn't help but look behind my shoulder to make sure nothing was there.

Seeing the pitch black behind me, Lucas opens the door and I jump to hug him in a warm embrace. "What happened?" Lucas asked, I shook my head and kissed him. "Nothing... let's just go inside." I said quietly, gently pushing Lucas and I inside, then I shut the door behind us.
