RAYAN

When I headed for lunch, I spotted Haze there, but he completely ignored me, refusing to even make an eye contact with me which I found strange.
Why would he act like this? Unless he have some plans in his sleeves. Anyway, I decided to be a little bit careful around him incase he tries something shady.
After lunch, we all decided to do some fishing in two respective boats which Liam has. In one boat, it is me, Steve, and Helin. The rest were in the other boat. Our boat is in the west side of the lake while theirs is in the North.
"I am such a pro in this field, look at me catching fishes, just like I catch ladies." Helin smirked as he caught a pretty good sized fish, before dumping it into his bucket.
"Yes, you have to catch ladies, because they wouldn't willingly come with you." Steve replied.
I laughed. "That was pretty good, man." I nudged Steve who looked quite proud.
"Hahaha, you sounds jealous and insecure." Helin said as he rolled his eyes.
Suddenly, I felt something in my fishing rod as I felt a little excited and alerted. "It's a fish. Omg."
"Pull it back immediately." Steve said beside me as I pulled it back immediately onto the boat, noticing an elongated, slender golden yellow coloured fish with faint vertical and horizontal stripes on it's back and sides.
"It's a baby yellow perch. Looks so young, but still edible." Helin said.
I looked at him. "Your choices of words are quite weird."
"What?" Helin looked at me with a confused expression as Steve laughed. "Little Haze, I think you should focus back onto catching more fishes, because this is only your first fish, which is barely entering into childhood."
I rolled my eyes at Helin. "Too bad I am bad at catching fishes like you, mister. You have more experience than me in catching fishes and something else."
Steve sighs. "It's actually because you are a fish, Rayan."
I looked at Steve weirdly as I put the fish inside my bucket after removing it from my rod.

As I put the first piece of my grilled fish into the mouth, which is exactly my yellow perch which I caught back from the lake.
Damn, it tastes pretty good. A sweet and tender flavour, melting immediately into my mouth as my taste buds enjoyed in silence.
At my fourth piece, I was saddened to realise that my little yellow perch is no longer in my plate. Too bad, it was the first and last fish which I caught.
I let out an annoyed noise before calling out for my best friend. "Steve, grab me some grilled fishes."
Even though, I was bad at fishing, my friends were pretty good. They caught a lot enough for all of us, if not more.
Even though, Helin was the best fisher in our boat, the best among the both boats was Haze. Liam announced that his cousin caught totally thirty fishes just within half an hour, he also shared some tips to Liam, Bruce and Jude for how to catch fishes, before taking a nap in the boat. I can imagine how much he could have caught if he utilise the whole one hour fully for fishing. The second best fisher is Liam who caught around fifteen, and the third one is Helin who caught thirteen ones.
Of course, it wasn't a surprise for me, when it comes to Haze. Honestly, I knew he have some special skills for trapping. Well, trapping fishes I meant. He had told me in the past that he was a good fisher though.
"Here you go." Steve put two large grilled fishes on my plate as he took a seat beside me. "I told you to take some more, before resting your ass. It was not like you were gonna be full by that tiny weeny fish of yours."
"Stop disrespecting my first catch." I grumbled under my breath as I took a piece of one of the large fishes. It tastes really good, but not as good as my yellow perch. I scoffed to myself.
"And last, you meant?" Steve smirked at me.
"God, what's with you bullying me?" I pouted. "Not so gentleman of you, Steve."
"Everyone is just out there praising him, you know, for catching tons of fish. We haven't caught these much before he came, even close to him." Steve said.
"Oh." I replied.
"Look at that." Steve pointed to the place where Haze is grilling the fishes, while Bruce stood beside him, talking animatedly about something to him with hand movements and all.
Wow.
"Since when they two have been so close to each other?" I looked at the duo bitterly.
"They have been together in the boat, fishing. So that explains, I think." Steve said as he took a mouthfuls of grilled fish.
"Quite ironic, isn't it?" I scoffed.
"Very much. I don't even know what's happening here, anymore." Helin said as he plopped beside me with his plate, as we were sitting on the table which set up in front of the lake house. "Bruce is so clingy to Haze, as if he suddenly forgot what Haze had done to you."
"Honestly, I don't even know if I could blame Bruce, because that Haze guy is so fucking manipulative. He must have done some mind games to Bruce, otherwise he won't change like this." Steve explains.
"We should warn Jude. He need to speak some sense into his boyfriend." I muttered under my breath as I saw Bruce handfeeding some pieces to Haze who gladly taken them into his mouth. "What the fuck is this Bruce doing? Where the fuck is his boyfriend? Is Jude really letting all these happening? Unbelievable!"
