"It's the Watatsumi Army! They're striking first this time!"

You

"Those little sons of bitches..."

You drew your weapon and stormed out of the restaurant. Numerous Sangonomiya Samurai were engaged in combat with your Tenryou Commission army. Things were chaotic, and planning was impossible while you were being attacked. 

You couldn't help but think that this should have been laid out in advance.

There were too many of them and backup was a touch slow even though your side was winning.

Tenryou Commission Solder 2

"N/N! Go inform the Raiden Shogun, we can handle them!"

Kujuo Sara

"Go. If Gorou or Kokomi show up, I'll handle them."

You started to race all the way home after nodding. Kokomi and Gorou had already jumped in front of you with more of their Watatsumi army following after them by the time you were almost there, just about to enter the area.

You

"Oh come on... Move."

Kokomi

"No. We're done losing to you, N/N!"

You

"Is that so?"

Gorou

"That's right!"

You

"Come on now... I really don't want to hurt anyone... That is until I tell the Raiden Shogun that little rats have invaded her beloved Inazuma City."

Kokomi

"You won't get the chance to tell her anything since you'll be rotting in jail!"

You

"Oh? Jail? Y'know- Speaking like that really doesn't suit your voice Kokomi. I'd kinda prefer it if you were like... 'Oh, you'll be put to jail soon.'"

Your voice rose in mockery as you made fun of her. Gorou glared at you with malice as you laughed.

You

"Man... I don't have time for this."

Your attention was fixed on the cliff edge to your left. You smiled as you regarded Kokomi and Gorou's army in its entirety. You immediately began to sprint to your left, jumped off the cliff, and fell to the ground.

Gorou

"They're insane!"

Kokomi

"A fall like that can't be survived!"

In order to mislead your opponents, you intended to run on the low land that surrounded your home. Kokomi made it to the same level of land by taking the safe route. But it took time, lots of it. You were resting and hiding in the trees while they were aimlessly wasting time.

You

*Sigh* "What a pain in the ass."

You were idly seated on a rock. You were waiting for Gorou to appear or for something else so that you could start to move - To get some action going. You questioned how Kujuo Sara was making progress.

You were nearby when you abruptly heard a stir in the bushes behind you. You made no response, all you did was slowly pull your sword out from its case.

You

"Ah, finally-"

???

"Y/N."

You knew that voice - Even though you hadn't heard that voice in a while, you were familiar with it. With your weapon firmly grasped in your hands, you rapidly turned around.

You

"I-"

There he stood, the young man with the beautiful red streak in his hair. He couldn't believe his eyes. He threw his sword to the ground and raced right up to you, hugging you tightly as if he would never let go. 

He held you so close to him, that he never wanted to leave you ever again. This was your opportunity to finally get rid of him, and you had your blade in your hand. However, having not seen him in such a long time, you were unable to resist. 

Along with dropping your weapon to the ground, you firmly wrapped his waist with your arms as he delicately held your head close to him, all nuzzled up in his shoulder.

Kazuha

"I thought-" *Sniffle*, "I thought I had lost you..."

You

"And you left me."

Kazuha finally began to move away from you after what seemed like a lifetime. He was brushing your tears away with his thumbs as he had both of his hands on your face.

Kazuha

"I know, I know... I- I really didn't mean to, I promise! I was just angry, and I didn't know what I was doing!"

You glanced at the ground with a mix of a sob and a laugh, then you turned to face Kazuha.

You

"I really missed you."

Kazuha

"I did too... Every day, I would go out hoping I'd see you again. I- I would go out thinking that we'd get to sit by the shore on the sand again to talk about stupid stuff."

Kazuha was sobbing a lot that his voice sounded scratchy. He talked with a bit of a broken voice and took short breaths. You laughed, again mixed with your sobs.

Kazuha

"You look so... Different."

You

"Is that supposed to be..." *Sniffle* "A bad thing?"

Kazuha

"No, not at all! I really love it. A lot."

You

"Love it?"

Kazuha

"Yeah. I love it."

Kazuha gave you another strong hug while smiling so wide that his cheekbones began to ache.

Gorou

"Kazuha."

"Don't worry, he's a friend."

You

"Wh- No, Kazuha-"

Gorou

"What's going on here?..."

Kazuha

"... Huh?"

Kazuha had his hands lightly on your shoulders as you slowly began to back away from him.

Gorou

"Do you two..."

Kazuha

"Wh-"

Gorou

"Kazuha, that's the Raiden's Assistant."

Kazuha had lost his smile as he continued to convince himself not to trust anything Gorou said, but then again, Gorou is Gorou, and Gorou wouldn't lie to a friend.

"What the hell is this... Don't tell me that you've sided with them, Kazuha."

Kazuha

"Wait... Wait- Huh? Sided with who?"

You

"Oh my- I can't fucking believe you!"

You were aware of what was unfolding. Kazuha was baffled since he had never expected you to say something so outrageous. You struck him in the face hard, then scooped up your sword and pointed it at Kazuha's head.

Gorou

"Kazuha!"

You

"You're not here for me- You're here to fucking capture me! To put me in jail! You're not on my side, you're with... With them!"

Kazuha

"I... What?! Y/N, you're not actually the Raiden's assistant, are you?! Gorou, you're not telling the truth!"

You

"No- You know what, your dumb little boyfriend is right! I am Raiden's assistant! And I'm never turning back, even if you want me to! Because I know damn well that all you'll do is lock me up in a cell on your little clam island."

Gorou

"Uhm... We aren't boyfriends-"

Kazuha

"Wh..."

Kokomi

"It isn't 'clam island', it's Watatsumi Island. Get it right!"

You

"Well, I'll call your dumb little island whatever the hell I want!"

Kazuha

"Y/N..."

You

"God- Would you stop calling me that?! They're not supposed to know!"

Kokomi

"Y/N, was it?"

Kazuha

"No... No- Stop. There's a misunderstanding here."

You

"There isn't any misunderstanding, Kazuha. The only reason why you're here is to put me in jail, isn't that right?"

Kazuha

"Well... Now that I know who N/N really is, I-"

Gorou

"Yes. That's what he's here for."

You

*Scoff* "I fucking knew it."

Kazuha

"I mean- I didn't know that you were N/N! I- I mean I was kind of thinking of it, but I really didn't know! I promise!"

Beidou

"Ooh... Did I come at a bad time?..."

You shook your head and got back to the topic.

You

"Kazuha, since you're trying to cover all your shit up, let's get some things straight. You left me that day. Remember?"

Kazuha

"I prefer not to..."

Kazuha shamefully looked down at the ground, scratching the back of his neck.

You

"Yeah, yeah, but you do. You left me there, and the Raiden Shogun took me in and treated me as if I were her own child. I was actually taken care of, unlike someone who decided to run away and yell in my face since I apparently am the reason Tomo is six feet under, rotting as we speak."

Kazuha

"I'm sorry..."

You

"Yeah- Well sorry isn't gonna fix anything, and you know that, Kazuha. Pfft... And to think that I really thought you were here for me. This is so stupid..."

Kazuha was completely speechless. Kokomi, Gorou, Beidou, and the entire Watatsumi Army would consider him a traitor if he supported you or even attempted to repair your relationship. However, as you perceived it, Kazuha appeared to be on the "good" side. 

Kazuha thinks he will lose you again as a result of this. The last thing he wanted was that.

You

"I'm finished here."

There was an unsettling silence after you plunged your sword into the ground. Then came a great wave of elemental force that shook the ground. Everyone lost their footing when the ground started to quake. 

The elemental power remained in the decimated landscape as you withdrew your blade. You mounted the walls without hesitation before you could get caught up in the disaster you produced, and left them there to suffer. 

You may have occasionally turned around to check on Kazuha, but you moved on fast.
