Kazuha

With a frustrated look, you finally made your decision.

You just moved over to Raiden and stood next to her without saying a word. She grinned and ordered the soldiers to take the now arrested criminals to the police station.

Kazuha

"What..."

Gorou

"N/N, we had a deal!"

You didn't say anything as you watched the soldiers handcuff them and haul them inside the station.

You were taken by Raiden back to your home, where Ei was anxiously awaiting your arrival.

Ei

"Y/N! I need you to tell me every single thing they did to you!"

She stomped over to you and gave you a huge hug while being furious yet grateful that you were back. Being unclear of what to do at this time, you scarcely moved.

Ei

"I was told those horrible criminals tied you up! God, I was worried!"

You

"Mhm."

Ei

"Come here, come here, let's take care of your wound and your wrists. Please, tell me everything. Did they abduct you?"

You

"Kunikuzushi was there."

Ei

"... Was he?"

You

"He stabbed me, not them. I used the flare. But Kazuha came before you could, and helped me."

Ei

"Helped you?"

You

"... Is Kaedehara Kazuha really a criminal?"

Ei

"... Well..."

You

"..."

Ei

"You know what, let's focus more on your injuries. You're exhausted, and you're probably just saying nonsense."

You

You recovered in bed while lying on your side after she treated your wound appropriately.

The next thing you know, you're wandering about Inazuma at midnight without informing Ei of your whereabouts. Everyone was asleep, and everything was peaceful. You loved it. Walking about in your pyjamas made you look like a complete moron, but it made no difference because nobody would notice you regardless. Aside from 4 specific people in jail cells.

"I would like to have a word with Kaedehara Kazuha."

Tenryou Commission Soldier

"Yes, of course, N/N."

The soldier appeared careless as you turned to face him. You reasoned that although the soldiers under your command gave it their all in combat, they couldn't spare a thought about keeping an eye on criminals.

Kazuha appeared to be quite uncomfortable as he slept on the bed that was supplied for him in his cell. You created a gap in the bars with your sword allowing him to enter. He was startled to his core by it.

Kazuha

"... What are you doing here?"

You

"I'm saving you. And the other 3, of course."

Kazuha

"No. I'm about to be executed."

You

"You will be executed if you don't come with me right now."

Kazuha

"I'll get executed by the Musou No Hitotachi either way. It doesn't matter. I thought you chose the Raiden's side, so may I ask what your business is here?"

You

"I told you, I'm here to save you. Now, let's go before we get caught. If both of us get caught, it's over for the two of us."

Kazuha

"Fine then."

Kazuha had an obvious reason for being a little moody. Of course, he would feel like this after experiencing such betrayal.

You

"Seriously? You're willing to risk your life as well as mine?"

Kazuha

"Don't talk like you haven't done the same thing."

You

"Listen- Yes, I took the Raiden's side, but I always planned on saving you from a jail cell. If I denied it and continued to run away with you, then she'd still find us either way. We were far from Watatsumi Island, and yet she still found us at that treasure hoarder camp."

Kazuha

"I'm not leaving. You can't make me, and the only time I'll ever leave this building is when I have all four of you with me."

Kazuha

"I had it all planned out, okay? I couldn't just tell you there, they would've known! Now please, before we get caught-"

Kazuha

"I would rather stay in this cell than go with you."

He sat back down on his uncomfy bed after crossing his arms.

Your feelings were hurt.

You alone were hurt.

You

"You're a real asshole, you know that?"

You entered his cell, grabbed his arm, and then made an effort to drag him out. The only method you could use since he grabbed your arm away and refused to leave was by slamming his head against the cell bars. He fell to the ground, unable to move as he was out cold.

After waking the others and announcing your return for them, you picked him up and placed him over your shoulder. They understood your strategy and obeyed you, unlike Kazuha who was unreasonably stubborn for no apparent reason.

You knocked someone on "your side", which is something you never thought you'd do. Both Kazuha and the guard had passed out. No one was outside, no one saw you flee.

Beidou

"What happened to Kazuha?"

You

"He wasn't cooperating. It was the only way."

Gorou

"So now, you've given him a head injury. Great."

You

"I didn't use much force, I only used enough to knock him out. He'll be fine."

Kokomi

"Are you sure? His head isn't bleeding, right?"

You

"No. He's fine like I said before."

Ei froze in fear, believing that Kazuha and the other "criminals" had fled and were carrying you along. Nevertheless, the situation was reversed. She dispatched a large number of soldiers as expected, but they were looking in the wrong place.

You questioned while carrying Kazuha's unconscious body on your back and peering around.

Beidou

"... You're joking, right?"

"... We're still in Inazuma? It doesn't look like Inazuma."

Kokomi

"No- N/N, this is Liyue. Liyue Harbor."

You

"Um... A what?"

Gorou

"Li-Yu-E. Liyue."

You

"... We aren't in Inazuma?"

Kokomi

*Sigh*

Beidou

"N/N, Inazuma is all the way back there."

You

"But... Raiden told me that Inazuma was the world we lived in, and there was nothing else outside of it."

Gorou

"Well, Raiden's a big fat liar. Now, you know that Liyue is an actual place."

You

"So this is Liyue... It's a lot brighter, even if it's nighttime."

Kokomi

"That's just because you're used to the shadiness of Inazuma. Enjoy the daylight here."

You

"... Where are we going, exactly?"

Beidou

"You better get ready to carry Kazuha all the way there. It's gonna take a while if we're walking there, and we don't have a ride, so..."
