The day proceeded like any other, with Y/n and Bahhiyh walking home together. Y/n said her goodbyes and got off the bus, heading toward Nayeon's shop to pick up the house key.

A few minutes later, she stood in front of the restaurant, its vibrant colors catching her eye. Spotting Nayeon, she called out to her and was greeted with a warm smile.

"Unnie!" Y/n exclaimed as she approached Nayeon.

"Baby, you're here! Come with me," Nayeon beckoned Y/n to follow her into the office.

Inside the office, Y/n sat down, and Nayeon asked, "Baby, are you hungry? Do you want something to eat?"

"No, Unnie, I don't want to eat anything," Y/n replied.

Nayeon wasn't having any of it. "What nonsense, baby!? You skipped breakfast, and you're saying you don't want to eat anything. Wait here; I'll get you something to eat," she said firmly, leaving Y/n looking a bit like an angry chipmunk.

Fifteen minutes later, Nayeon returned with some chili oil noodles and tteokbokki. She placed the dishes on a table beside the desk and signaled for Y/n to dig in.

Picking up her chopsticks, Y/n dove into the delicious-looking food, savoring every bite. A fond smile crossed Nayeon's face as she watched Y/n eat. She had vowed to protect Y/n from anyone who might try to harm or take her away.

"Unnie, did you make this food?" Y/n asked, her mouth still full.

Nayeon chuckled softly. "Baby, you shouldn't talk with your mouth full. No, I didn't make the food; Mingi prepared it," she replied.

With her tummy full and content, Y/n walked toward her house, enjoying the surroundings. However, her peaceful stroll was interrupted when she heard footsteps behind her. She quickened her pace, hoping to evade whoever was following her.

Running as fast as she could, she darted through the streets, trying to shake off her pursuers. She wished she had taken the longer route instead of the shortcut, but now she was trapped, desperately trying to escape from these unknown individuals.

She overheard a conversation between her pursuers. "Where did the girl go?" one of them asked. "Boss will kill us if he finds out she got away."

Hearing a familiar voice, Y/n unconsciously took a step back, bumping into a trash can.

"Did you hear that noise from the alley?" the unknown person asked.

"Shit," Y/n muttered before fleeing for her life. She wished she had taken the longer route, and now she was trying to outrun these unknown pursuers.

Will Y/n manage to escape from these unknown people, or will she be caught? And whose familiar voice did Y/n hear?
